- The connection between Bill Cipher and Pennywise is that they are both extradimensional entities who terrorize children (the Pine Twins and Loser Club, respectively) in cursed towns (Gravity Falls and Derry, respectively) using their abilities to manifest their worst nightmares and warp reality, all the while maintaining a friendly and comedic personality. Both require an ancient ritual to be defeated (the Zodiac and Ritual of Chud, respectively) and are at odds with a mightier, animal-like being (the Axolotl and Maturin, respectively).
