Beat is an Earthling who utilizes the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade machines as a way of both a way of advanced time travel and to play the game. When he enters the arcade, he becomes a Saiyan and utilizes his given abilities. Upon discovery that he's the descendant of Son Goku, it means that he can be able to use his techniques in the real world.
