Interlude[]
Wiz: Shapeshifting, a versatile skill
Boomstick: And some of these shapeshifters happen to be, green skinned members of superhero teams
Wiz: Beast Boy, the shapeshifter of the teen titans from DC
'Boomstick,Hulkling, the shapeshifting hulk and member of the young avengers from Marvel He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.
Beast Boy[]
Wiz: Garfield Logan was the son of scientists focusing on trips in the environment, ah to be a kid of science, such a dream life
Boomstick: His parents often dragged him along to their trips, and during one trip to West Africa he got bitten by monkey carrying a deadly disease known as Sakuita.
Wiz: Doing anything to try and get their son back, they injected him with a experimental serum
Boomstick: God damn it, another comic book character getting powers by serums,how many are there?
Wiz: The serum worked, but it did cause a few side effects.
Boomstick: The most notable was turning his whole skin green. I'm not envy
Wiz: And because of the serum he can turn into animals.
Boomstick: Any animal?
Wiz: Well it has to be an animal he has seen, so he does have quite a extensive collection thanks to his travels and the seen is somewhat vague as he has turned into fictional animals he thinks about in his head so I guess Imagining an animal counts as it being seen
Boomstick: He has turned into bears, octopuses, and even a freaking dragon
Wiz: Soon after the serum’s side effects his parents died in a boating accident
Boomstick: There’s the comic book trauma
Wiz: And contrary to popular belief, Garfield was actually recruited by the doom patrol who gave him the name changeling, but that didn’t stick
Boomstick: He eventually settled on the name Beast Boy.
Wiz: And soon after, he joined the Teen Titans and with his animal transformations he’s a valued member of the team
Boomstick:And don’t be fooled by the animals as the animals that Beast Boy turn into are stronger than any version of that animal currently known.
Wiz: And he doesn’t just rely on the animal transformations. He’s trained in ninjutsu and even been trained in hand to hand combat by Tim Drake, a former Robin
Boomstick: Beast Boy’s most powerful transformation is turning into a freaking phoenix. Let’s hope that goes better than the other comic company’s storyline where a teenage member of a superhero team becomes a phoenix.
Wiz:Beast boy has proven time and time again that he’s a valued member of the teen titans
Hulkling[]
Wiz: The Kree-Skrull War, a battle between two species, and during the heat of the battle, the original Captain Marvel, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch all got kidnapped and brought to the Skrull emperor
Boomstick: But Captain Marvel was being a player and had an affair with the princess of the skrull kingdom, fearing for their safety he was brought down to Earth in order to hide.
Wiz: He was adopted and was named Theodore “Teddy” Rufus Altmann.
Boomstick: Due to wanting to fit in, Teddy used his shapeshifting powers to impersonate celebrities to invite his classmates to exclusive parties. Because that’s what peer pressure does.
Wiz: Eventually Teddy decided to not use his powers for selfish ways,but for good, as he joined the young avengers.
Boomstick:The Young avengers were formed as part of a fail safe programme if the avengers were ever broken up or worse.
Wiz:Because he is half skrull, he is technically skrull royalty but the skrulls don’t seem to like that as they would rather kill him than let him sit on his rightful throne
Boomstick: This is some game of thrones shit going on here.
Wiz: When visited by the Hulk, he was shocked that despite not getting his powers from gamma radiation, Teddy still had all the strength of a hulk
Boomstick: Fucking Nepotism.
Wiz:His shapeshifting and strength combined make him a great attribute to the young avengers. He has bulletproof skin and can’t be struck by bladed objects.
Boomstick: and Hulkling has been known to during the heat of the battle shapeshift into heroes like the Human Torch, Mister Fantastic, Spider-Man and Iron Man. Sometimes even combing their powers like making spidey have stretchy arms.
Wiz: He also wields a sword known as excalibur who when anyone wields it, gives them the right to space, literally hulkling’s the emperor of space.
Boomstick: Got to love random comic shit.
Wiz: Hulkling's shapeshifting allows him to gather valuable information, deceive his enemies, or even blend into different environments seamlessly. This ability to adapt and strategize on the fly makes him a vital asset to the Young Avengers and a formidable opponent.
Boomstick: And let's not overlook his role as a leader. While the Young Avengers may be a team of young heroes, Hulkling's natural leadership qualities and his experiences with political struggles give him a unique perspective when it comes to decision-making and guiding the team.
Wiz: Hulkling's royal lineage and the challenges he faces in claiming his rightful throne give him a strategic mindset and a keen understanding of power dynamics. These qualities make him a valuable leader, ensuring that the Young Avengers are always ready to face whatever threats come their way.
DEATH BATTLE[]
Inside a empty building, hulkling entered when he saw a green tiger. Hulkling backed out
The green tiger shapeshifted back into Beast Boy.
“Got ya. Oh that was a good one.”
“It wasn’t funny.” Hulkling punched beast boy, causing him to crash into a wall.
“It was just a prank bro. But you want something different, have it your way.” Beast boy transformed into a bear. In his bear form he pounched onto Hulkling scratching him.
Hulkling roared in pain as the bear's claws left deep gashes on his skin. He quickly recovered, transforming his body into a more resilient form.
"Nice try,," Hulkling growled, his body bulging with increased muscle mass. "But you're going to have to do better than that."
Hulkling charged forward, his fist colliding with the bear's snout, sending it flying across the room. Beast Boy swiftly transformed back into his human form, tumbling and rolling to absorb the impact.
"You're a tough one," Beast Boy admitted, wiping a trickle of blood from his lip. "But I've got more tricks up my sleeve."
In an instant, Beast Boy transformed into a gorilla, slamming his massive fists into Hulkling's chest. Hulkling grunted under the impact, staggering backward
. He then morphed into a jaguar, his agile form darting around the room, confusing Hulkling with his rapid movements.
Hulkling roared in frustration, attempting to swipe at the elusive jaguar.
"You can't catch me, big guy!" Beast Boy taunted, transforming into a hummingbird and buzzing around Hulkling's head. The hummingbird suddenly transformed into a massive anaconda, coiling around Hulkling's legs and constricting tightly.
“Is it just me or are things getting hot in here.” Hulkling said as he shapeshifted into the human torch.
“Ow, that’s hot.” Beast boy said. The fire was enough to revert him back to his human form
With a swift motion, Beast Boy transformed into a massive elephant, The elephant trumpeted loudly, charging towards Hulkling with its powerful tusks aimed straight at him.
. Just as the two powerful beings were about to collide, Beast Boy shifted again, this time morphing into a tiny flea.
Confused, Hulkling looked around, trying to spot the elusive flea. Before he could react, the flea transformed into a venomous snake and sunk its fangs deep into Hulkling's ankle. Hulkling cried out in pain,
"That was a cheap shot," Hulkling growled, his voice echoing through the empty building. "But it's time to end this."
Hulkling got out excalibur. "I am the empreor of space, I am skrull royalty, you will not treat royalty this way."
Hulkling ran to Beast Boy and stabbed his sword forward, Beast boy barely missed it.. Hulkling picked up Beast Boy and threw him out the window.
Hulkling ran towards Beast Boy outside and punched him backwards.
"I am the emperor of space, I am Hulkling and you will not like me when i'm angry"
Hulkling slashed with his sword hitting beast's boy chest.
Beast boy went down to the ground, gasping for breath but none was coming.
"Next time, don't pick on royalty."
Analysis[]
Boomstick: So um I'm still confused about the emperor of space thing but how did Hulkling win
Wiz:Well this was a close match, Beast Boy had way more versatile than Hulkling, and was better trained
Boomstick: But at the end of the day Hulkling's still a hulk. Those are known for immense strength.
Wiz:And that strength is something Beast Boy couldn't match. Beast Boy had never had to face an opponent with the strength of hulkling so he was simply outmatched by pure strength.
Boomstick: Hulkling sure did got the beast out of him.
Wiz:Hulkling is the winner
