The D-Day Knight (THE MONUMENT MYTHOS)[]
Wiz: an alternate universe named the Deanverse has just been destroyed in an event dubbed the Great Division. Popped out of the destruction was the Deanverse’s version of Richard Nixon, who landed on the moon of a universe fittingly dubbed the Nixonverse.
Boomstick: and he has new god powers from the division and destruction of Alcatraz, which is a living creature for some reason! So naturally he turns a bunch of real people into his DC OCs. One such was… Frank Sinatra?
Wiz: Frank was transformed into the D-Day Knight, a version of Batman with Superman’s power set, out to do anything he wants.
Boomstick: and he ain’t a pushover! He can grow to the size of King Kong, fly, throw around humans, push back the Nazis, tear off the head of a statue and the skull of a world-destroying serpent and even completely obliterate Lunarians, who can survive gunshots and vaporise people! What can’t he do?
Wiz: More then you’d expect. He is a manchild prone to fits of rage, and he like all of Nixon’s creations was destined to go mad, turning into a mess of black things after being consumed with grief. He was eventually killed when his universe was turned into fiction by a remorseful Nixon.
Boomstick: don’t let that fool you though - in durability he’s also crazy! He can tank hits from the German war effort and scale to the Queen of the Lunarians who didn’t even flinch when faced with bullets!
Wiz: remember when he grew to the size of King Kong - we weren’t joking! He grew MASSIVE, went to the top of a building and threw a lady off it because she annoyed him.
Boomstick: considering he can fly, he didn’t even need to! He just went massive to show off!
Wiz: in terms of speed, he scales to the Last Son, who can outspeed a tank’s cannon fire! That’s faster than 1,500 m/s!
Boomstick: and with leftover matter from the destruction of Alcatraz, he could obliterate all of the Lunarians!
Wiz: with “ALCATRAZMATTER” he is super powered up no pun intended. It gives him the ultimate move of the ALCATRAZ CHECKMATE, which can do COMPLETE OBLITERATION. In battle, the Knight is very aggressive and reliant on dealing high amounts of damage, and nothing says this better… than his helmets.
Boomstick: the Knight has worn a few helmets over the years. From the head of the Alice Avenue memorial to the skull of the world-destroying Horned Serpent.
Wiz: wearing a skull may not seems impressive… but the skull went through WW2 with one piece of damage that was easily fixed.
Boomstick: and there’s even more… he’s described as the only man with free will, the only person without pre programmed thoughts and actions, meaning he can intercept and surprise his enemies fairly easily!
Wiz: although he may be flawed, remember this, criminals - when you look into the abyss, if the D-Day Knight stares back, you should probably shine a light to see what else is in the abyss.
