Wiz: Giant snakes and dragons are known to known to appear in a variety of myths and legends.
Boomstick: And these are one of the fiercest!
Wiz: The Basilisk, the Serpent of Slytherin.
Boomstick: And Smaug, one of the last dragons of Middle Earth.
Wiz: I'm Wizard, and he's Boomstick, and it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to see who would win a Death Battle!
Basilisk[]
Wiz: The World of Harry Potter is full of fantastic beastic beasts like pixies, grindylows, hippogriffs, doxies, graphorns, and nifflers.
Boomstick: And the one we're talking about in this Death Battle is the Basilisk, the Serpent of Slytherin.
Wiz: This giant serpent is hatched from a chicken egg that was under a toad, and it is bred by dark wizards, with Herpo The Foul being the first to breed one while he was in Ancient Greece.
Boomstick: It is classified as an XXXXX creature, as it can't be domesticated and has been known to kill wizards, but since it's a serpent, only a parselmouth is able to communicate and control it, since Voldemort was the only one who was able to control and command the one that was owned by Salazar Slytherin.
Wiz: Now let's talk about its abilities.
Boomstick: First is its deadly gaze, in which it kills its victims upon eye contact, and not even glasses can protect anyone from its stare.
