Bardock is a character from the Dragon Ball franchise. He is the father of Goku and Raditz, as well as the husband of Gine. He previously fought Omni-Man from the Invincible series in the 188th episode and ‘24 Premiere of DEATH BATTLE!, Omni-Man VS Bardock.

History[]
The father of both Goku and Raditz and a mate of Gine. Bardock is "classified" as a low-class warrior despite his power level rivaling King Vegeta's, who is a Saiyan Elite. Bardock's early life is unknown.
During his time on Kanassa, Bardock was struck in the back of the head by a survivor named Toolo, who (rightly) would predict that the Saiyan race will face utter destruction. Although Bardock faced visions of the future regarding his youngest son, Goku, he nonetheless shrugged it off, becoming outright cold serving for Frieza. However, Toolo's prediction would eventually come true, as Bardock's team was betrayed and killed by Dodoria, Frieza's right hand man in Planet Meat. Enraged, Bardock sought out revenge against Frieza. He was laughed at by the Saiyan society after he delivered them a warning of Frieza's plan to destroy Planet Vegeta. Undeterred by the humiliation, Bardock sought out to take on Frieza and his army by himself. Despite being wounded, Bardock eliminated a significant amount of the Frieza Force, even Dodoria himself, until Frieza himself arrives to the field. Yet, instead of fighting Bardock one on one, Frieza effortlessly obliterates him and Planet Vegeta. Though Bardock ultimately failed to take his revenge, he eventually died with the assurance that his son, Kakarot, will eventually uphold the Saiyan pride and defeat Frieza one day.

A born warrior, Bardock had the skills and the tenacity of a true Saiyan warrior. He effortlessly eliminated armies natives to the planets he's conquered, even the Frieza Force proved to be no match for him in his injured state. At one time, his power level was even stated to be higher than Nappa according to Prince Vegeta himself.
Great Ape[]
Like all Saiyans, Bardock transforms when he looks at the full moon when he transforms his power increases 10 fold.
Super Saiyan[]
Like his son Goku, Bardock has achieved the legendary Status of a Super Saiyan which increases his power 50 fold however if it's canon is debatable but if it is non-canon than everything other than his looks are non-canon.
Super Saiyan 2[]
Bardock also is said to go beyond a Super Saiyan in the form of a Super Saiyan 2 which increases 100 (or 2x of SSJ1) fold.
Super Saiyan 3[]
This power allows Bardock to take on the taxing but super-powerful SSJ3 form, even allowing him to stand against Goku in Ultra Instinct form
