Intro[]
Skunk: Super strength, a thing that everyone thinks of when they hear "super power"
Skel: Lucky for anyone who wants it, you don't gotta be a super hero, just a villain full of drugs!
Skunk: Bane, The Man Who Broke The Bat.
Skel: And Abomination, Disfigured Enemy Of Hulk. He's Skunk and I'm Skel.
Skunk: And it's our job to research their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win, a Death Battle!
Bane Breaks Into Death Battle![]
Skunk: Gotham City, a place full of fear, dread, crime, and more.
Skel: The fear part is a given, when you find out it has a hero known as "Batman"
Skunk: Batman strikes fear into those villains and criminals, those who dare cause harm to innocents, those who dare make a dent in justice.
Skel: And thanks to his reputation, he has gained plenty of other enemies, Joker, Penguin, Two-Face.
Skunk: But one of the most strong, deadly, and most threatening of the humans, Bane.
Bane is shown beating up Batman.
Skel: Bane was born in prison, and he served the sentence of his dead dad.
Skunk: He spent his years in this prison, fending for himself.
Skel: Eventually he must have done some drugs and went into a coma, since he apparently saw his future self.
Skunk: He saw himself standing above all others, and was told he could, so long as he conquered fear.
Skel: Eventually after he came back from the coma, he got to work, training his mind and body.
Skunk: He became a legend, and the Warden of the prison was not very happy with this.
Skel: So they did the only thing they thought of, make an example of him.
Skunk: Which was supposed to be done through the injection of venom, a special drug that was supposed to kill anyone who had it in them.
Skel: But the procedure didn't work, in fact, it did the opposite of what you'd hope would happen if you were in the Warden's situation, it gave Bane super strength.
Skunk: He wanted more after that, he eventually escaped, and took his special serum to Gotham, adding one more villain to the already dozens of others in the city, using his venom to become one of the biggest threats to it.
Bane's Venom[]
- Enhances Strength
- Enhances Speed & Reflexes
- Increased Pain Tolerance
- Faster Healing
- Increases Durability
- Increased Stamina
Skel: His venom increases his overall physical capabilities, including his speed, reflexes and durability.
Skunk: Repeated usage over the years gave him a healing factor, which increases when he injects venom into himself, allowing for him to stay in fights longer, and resist pain.
Skel: This also keeps his energy up, so he keeps going at his best, at least until the effects wear off.
Skunk: He isn't only strong and fast, but smart and cunning, his skill set goes beyond fighting.
Bane's Skills[]
- Martial Arts
- Photographic Memory
- Leadership
- Master Strategist
- Intimidation
- Willpower
Skel: He isn't all brawn and no brains, he is adept with martial arts, strategizing, and intimidation, I mean, who wouldn't be scared by a mass of muscle that can break your spine with his finger?
Skunk: Only superheroes, but even then, he has a photographic memory, is skilled in leadership, and has a near unbreakable will, his venom isn't the most dangerous thing about him it is his will to keep fighting.
Skel: I disagree, his venom is the most intimidating thing about him, he has done crazy stuff with it, and without it too.
Bane's Feats[]
- Broke Batman's back
- Easily kills normal people, even without venom
- Threw a truck weighing about 27 tons
- Easily snapped an alligator's neck
- One-shots other foes, including Man-Bat
- Toppled a stone statue
- Shrugs off toxins and gases with no effect to him
- Took hits from SuperBat
- Easily destroys stone and metal while injected with venom
- Can run through stone walls without sign of pain
- When filled with enough venom, his skin becomes bullet-proof
- Using TITAN makes him bigger, stronger, and more aggressive
Skunk: He has easily destroyed stone and metal, is unaffected by gases from Joker and Scarecrow, can knock out superhuman foes with one strike, and can throw something weighing around 27 tons.
Skel: He also broke Batman's back, which would need 9 pounds of pressure to do so. And when he is full enough of venom, his skin is unable to be hurt from bullets, and his healing gets even faster, and stronger, along with his strength and durability.
Skunk: He also can use a special serum called TITAN, which differs from venom, but has about the same effect, increasing muscle mass, strength but at the cost of speed and intelligence.
Skel: And that is where he really falls down.
Bane's Flaws[]
- Can overdoes if using too much
- Tubes on his body can be broken, cut, and otherwise disconnected from Bane's body, stopping the venom from going to him
- This causes him to go into a weakened state
- The more venom he uses, the slower he becomes
- Plays fair (Which can be fatal if he faces a foe who fights dirty, giving them the advantage)
- He prefers to fight up-close, rarely using ranged means of attack
- Can be arrogant at times, especially against foes he sees as inferior
Skunk: While venom has increased Bane's strength and body, that's exactly the reason he is so strong, and if his venom supply is cut-off, he will suffer major fatigue, weakness, and exhaustion, leaving him open to attacks.
Skel: This has been done plenty of times, Batman has taken advantage of Bane's slower speed, and overconfident personality, luring Bane close, and then cutting off his venom supply.
Skunk: And even if it isn't cut-off, he still could inject himself with too much venom, which causes damage to his body, and the use of TITAN is even worse, making him larger, much slower, and less strategic, while the strength is useful, sometimes raw strength isn't always the answer.
Skel: You know what they say, violence isn't the answer, it is a question, and the answer is yes.
Skunk: Bane is certainly a force to be reckoned with, while still human, he is very much not to be taken lightly, he will break you.
Bane is shown breaking Batman's back.
Abomination Messes Up Death Battle![]
Skel: You know, I'm sure anyone reading this battle is going to agree with this, monsters are freaking awesome, giant lizards that breath radiation, slime creatures, and more.
Skunk: But the true monster is human kind, every problem stems from them.
Skel: I wouldn't know, I'm like trillions of years old, so, yeah.
Skunk: Right, anyways, one of the most well-known "monsters" in Marvel is Abomination.
Abomination is shown with a missile exploding in his hand.
Skel: But before he was the monster we know about today, he was Emil Blonsky, a military leader.
Skunk: He was hired by General Ross to capture Bruce Banner, better known as, Hulk.
Skel: When Blonsky first saw Hulk, he wanted to be able to match him, and got a super serum injected, similar to Steve Rodgers, but without the strength and durability, just speed and agility.
Skunk: He eventually was able to get close enough to Hulk, but it didn't really end so well, he got every bone in his body broken, and somehow survived, barely.
Skel: Yeah, you would think that he would realize he should give up, but he didn't, he decided he wanted another dose of the serum, which had a bad effect on his body.
Skunk: This caused his body to change, his spine grew out of his body, and it didn't take a genius to see that he took the serum.
Skel: But he STILL wasn't happy, he wanted more, he wanted Hulk's blood.
Skunk: Despite being told it could come at a cost, he got the injection, which turned him into a literal abomination.
Blonsky's transformation to Abomination is shown.
Skel: Yeah, and with it came exactly what you would expect, extreme powers.
Abomination's Powers[]
- Enhanced Strength
- Unlike Hulk, his strength doesn't increase as he gets angrier, so he is likely always at his best
- Enhanced Durability
- Enhanced Speed
- Extreme Regeneration
- In addition to his super serum regeneration, Hulk's own healing factor should add to it, making his healing factor possibly stronger than Hulk's
- Enhanced Immune System
- Vibration Manipulation
- Can use Hulk's thunder clap attack
Skunk: Abomination has all the powers of Hulk, which are mainly heightened speed, durability, and strength.
Skel: He also can imitate Hulk's thunder clap, useful for sending one or a whole group of enemies flying in the air.
Skunk: He is able to resist diseases and electricity, being relatively unharmed seconds after being electrocuted, just staggered.
Skel: His healing factor also is increased with the mixture of blood and the super soldier serum, before he could heal all his bones within a day, and Hulk's own healing added to that should make it so wounds heal at a much faster rate.
Skunk: Abomination is insane, his strength and physicality show that time and time again.
Abomination's Feats[]
- Can face Hulk
- Hulk was able to easily send tanks flying, tear them apart and smash them apart in a few seconds
- Savage Hulk could lift a massive mountain
- Has been proven to match several superheroes
- Able to harm Wonder Woman
- Can throw a whole building
- Can take hits from Hulk, Thor and similar foes
- Able to make shockwaves by stomping or clapping his hands together
- Can jump 4 miles in 9 leaps
- Survived a fall from orbit
Skel: He is able to go 4 miles in 9 leaps, survive a fall from orbit and throw a whole damn building!
Skunk: He also has matched many other super powered foes, including Wonder Woman, who is able to help pull the planet, and survive an atom exploding point-blank.
Skel: And don't forget Thor, the god of thunder, the guy who can bust planets with collisions of his hammer, and go across the universe within seconds.
Skunk: But he is most famous for facing against his most iconic rival, The Hulk.
Skel: Yeah, he can face the same mass of muscle who can jump to orbit with one leap, lift mountains, and take massive punishment, only to get more pissed off than hurt.
Skunk: Abomination can match the rage filled Hulk, but unlike his foe, Abomination lacks that trait himself.
Abomination's Flaws[]
- Unlike Hulk, his power doesn't increase when he gets angrier
- Though, this could imply no matter his rage level, he is always able to exert his best strength all the time
- Has been overpowered by Hulk
- Is arrogant
- Likely not as strong as Hulk when Hulk is very angry
- Though, he seems to be stronger than Hulk when he is calmer, and even when Hulk is moderately angry
Skel: Yeah, he still is just as arrogant as most other villains, and he isn't invincible, he has been knocked out, overpowered and even killed before.
Skunk: While Hulk's own blood is mixed with Abomination, he doesn't get stronger the angrier he is, meaning his strength won't increase as a fight goes on.
Skel: Yeah, he still has had losses against Hulk and other heroes, but to be fair, you gotta respect how he can even go against Hulk.
Skunk: That is true, when you think of who can face the Hulk, remember Abomination is up to that challenge, and always will be.
Abomination is shown impaling Hulk with his elbow spike.
Intermission[]
Skunk: Alright the combatants are set, let's end this debate once and for all.
Skel: It's time for a Death Battle!!!
Fight[]
Location: TITAN Production Facility
Bane looks around, watching over the production of TITAN.
Bane: This is very delicate, do not even think of spilling it!
The room shakes, Bane and the thugs look around, and see the ceiling cracks. Suddenly, it smashes, and crushes a group of thugs. As the dust clears, Abomination is roars loudly, slamming his fists down on the ground.
Bane: You are not welcome here, monster!
Abomination: Monster? I'll show you a "Monster"!
Fight!
Abomination charges at Bane, and slams his fists into his chest a few times, making Bane flinch, finishing with a wind up punch, sending Bane hitting a wall, shaking a vat of TITAN. Bane cracks his knuckles, and scoffs at his foe.
Bane: So be it, you wish for pain? I'll show you pain, prepare for your death!
Bane grabs part of the wall, ripping it off. He tosses the chunk at Abomination, who punches it to dust, then roars. They both charge, and slam their fists into each other. They rapidly slam their fists, clashing them with loud thuds. They go faster and faster, until Bane side steps, and punches Abomination's gut, staggering him. Bane slams his palms into each side of Abomination's head, making a crack noise, and Abomination roars out in pain, holding his face.
Bane: It is no use, I'm superior.
Bane then grabs Abomination, and slams him into the floor like a limp dummy. He twirls around fast, and after winding up, releases Abomination from his grip, sending the monster flying, and hitting various thugs, eventually crashing into a metal crate. Abomination gets up, and looks at the crates behind himself. Bane is shown briefly shocked, as Abomination lifts a large metal crate up. He throws it at Bane, who attempts to catch it, but is sent back, crushing him between a wall, and the crate.
Abomination: Die, you worthless excuse of a man!
A noise is heard behind the crate, and suddenly it is shattered, and Bane is shown to have injected his venom. Bane grabs parts of the broken crate, and throws them, sharp bits sticking into Abomination, making him scream. Abomination swings his arms as he charges forward, knocking thrown metal to the sides, and eventually reaching Bane. He slams his elbow bone spike into Bane's chest. Bane laughs, feeling barely any pain.
Bane: You think you're strong? I'll show you strong!
Bane grabs Abomination by the shoulders, and lifts him. Abomination hits Bane on his face a few times, but Bane ignores this. Bane then slams Abomination's arm down on his knee, with a crack, and an x-ray shows Abomination's bone in his arm breaks. Bane then throws his foe into the ceiling. He injects even more venom into himself, yelling out. Abomination falls down, and Bane slams both his hands into Abomination's chest, cracking ribs, and sending them flying, hitting a vat of TITAN, shaking it.
Bane: Ha, weakling!
Abomination snarls, then looks at the vat behind him, then smiles. He grabs the vat, pulling it up. Abomination hurls it at Bane, who just looks in shock, as the vat falls onto him, and spills TITAN everywhere. Abomination roars angrily, then the vat shakes.
Bane: This is not over!
Bane smashes out the vat, now having TITAN in his system, bigger muscles, green glowing eyes, and oozing with TITAN from his mouth. Abomination stomps his feet, then runs at Bane. Bane slams his fist down, making a crater, and then lunges high up. Abomination looks up, and smiles. Abomination slams his palms together in Bane's direction, making a thunder clap, which sends Bane the other way, crashing into the wall. Bane gets up, slamming the wall, making it crack, and the crack goes up to the ceiling.
Bane: I am not going to lose!
Abomination picks up a large machine, and throws it, but Bane kicks it back, crushing Abomination's arm, as they scream. Bane walks up, and picks Abomination up with one hand.
Bane: Ha, I always win in the end, always...
Bane does a back breaker on Abomination, a massive crack is heard. Bane tosses Abomination on the floor. A moment of silence occurs, but Abomination's back heals up, and he gets up. Bane is shocked, then instantly angry again. Bane swings his fists, but Abomination catches them in his hands. Both their arms shake, as they try to overpower each other. Both make roars at each other, and their hands shake more. They slowly bring their faces closer and closer, a crack is heard.
Abomination: I win...
Abomination pulls, and Bane's arms come off, making the oversized wrestler yell in pain. Abomination hits Bane with his own arms, breaking Bane's jaw and ribs. He tosses the arms down, and jumps up high, slamming his feet down on Bane's venom pack, shattering it, releasing all the venom. Bane lays on the floor, groaning in pain.
Bane: This isn't possible...
Abomination picks Bane up, lifting him high.
Abomination: I break you now!
With those final words, Abomination slams Bane's back into his knee, splitting Bane in half, as he screams briefly, then stops. Abomination stomps on Bane's head, crushing it with a splat.
K.O!
Conclusion[]
Skel: Damn, I love a good brawl!
Skunk: We won't try and sugar coat this, while Bane did hold some advantages, he was simply overwhelmed by Abomination's physic.
Skel: I mean, Abomination takes on Hulk! He can lift a mountain that is worth 150 billions tons!
Skunk: Sure Hulk likely isn't hitting Abomination with this power all the time, we can assume that he still has a major amount of strength when at low rage. While comparing Hulk and Abomination seems logical, Abomination likely isn't as strong as Hulk, at least when Hulk is mad, as he can match a more calm Hulk.
Skel: So we decided to low-ball the strength, while Hulk could lift the mountain worth 150 billion tons, even if we divided that strength by 1 million, we still get 150,000 thousand tons, and Bane's best feat is lifting a 27 ton truck.
Pop-Up: While this feat is somewhat vague to compare to Abomination, even if it were to be far weaker than the estimate, Abomination would still be stronger than Bane, as another feat of Abomination's was lifting a building, which can be assumed to be heavier than the truck feat.
Skunk: To put this in mathematical terms, Abomination's low-balled strength is over 5556x greater than Bane's best shown strength.
Skel: Do we need more evidence to why Abomination wins than this?
Skunk: Well Bane did hold the advantage in skill and experience, as well as intelligence, but that could only push him so far, and eventually he would be exhausted by Abomination's speed and strength, that he wouldn't be able to figure out a way to put down his foe.
Skel: Bane's speed also wasn't as impressive as Abomination's, while Bane can face Batman, Abomination was able to jump over 4 miles in 9 jumps, which means each jump sent him nearly half a mile, Bane couldn't compete with that kind of speed.
Skunk: While Bane held the advantage in intelligence and skill, he was unable to stand up to Abomination's speed, durability, and overwhelming strength.
Skel: Bane had a crack at it, but I don't think he will be back from this one.
Skunk: The winner is Abomination!
