- Attack Potency: Wall level (pulling on the tiger Shere Khan's tail hard enough to pull him back so he doesn't hurt Mowgli, and in the sequel movie knocking back Shere Khan with his shoulder so Mowgli, and Shanti can get away).
- Speed: Being able to keep up with the monkeys, and King Louie to save Mowgli.
- Strength: Stronger than a human being able to uproot trees, can hold Mowgli up onto his back, lift a giant club to hit the monkey holding Mowgli (accidentally hitting Bagheera with it), and being able to fight off a dominant predator like Shere Khan long enough so Mowgli can be safe from him,
- Durability: Wall level (surviving hitting into a tree, getting fruit thrown at him by the monkeys, falling down a cliff with a huge rock hitting on his head being hard enough to crack it into pieces, and still being alive after Shere Khan brutally beat him up almost killing him.
- Intelligence: Is pretty intelligent being able to outsmart the monkeys, and King Louie as well as teaching Mowgli everything he knows about fighting, though not as smart as Bagheera.

- Isn't the most willing to put up a fight against a predator like Shere Khan, but only if someone he truly cares about is in danger, like Mowgli, and is often very lazy.
