Boomstick: I remember the first time I fell in love. She was a beauty, Wiz. An absolute killer of a dame. She was elegant, smooth, warm hearted and tasted great.
Wiz: Boomstick! There might be children wat- wait. You're talking about a beer, aren't you?
Boomstick: Ah, Blue Moon Lager. I will never forget the countless, lonely nights we spent together.
Wiz: (sigh)
Boomstick: What? Could be a lot worse, Wiz. I could be stalking the head the industry until they give me what I want... not that i've done that... don't look me up.
Wiz: Ayano Aishi. The obessive and deadly high school Yandere.
Boomstick: And Saiko-Chan. The supernatural psycho with a split personality.
Wiz: I'm Wiz and he's Boomstick. And today we're looking at two demented, hopeless romantics masquerading as innocent students, and pitting them together to find out who would win a Death Battle!

Boomstick: Wiz, what are you saying?
Wiz: I’m explaining the scientific definition of love as described by the University of Ha-’’
Boomstick: Wiz, love is simple. You look at someone, you think about being with them all your life, and something about the heart growing 3 times its usual size. There, I saved the audience 5 painful minutes of you overcomplicating things. Speaking of, let's talk about how to NOT fall in love. Lesson one: Don’t obsess over someone to the point you kill anyone who looks in their general direction.
Wiz: Well put, I guess, in describing one of the many mental blockades of one Ayano Aishi.

Wiz: Otherwise known as Yandere-Chan. From the moment she was born, Ayano had a deep, unending well of depression that prevented her from being normal. Rather than try to solve the problem, her mother simply encouraged it, telling her that one day she would meet the person who could fill that void and cure her.
Boomstick: I got a few suggestions. Adderall, Prozac, Angry Orchard. That usually cheers me right up.
Wiz: Apparently, every generation of Ayano's family suffers from being a ‘Yandere’, someone who shows deep rooted affection to the point of obsession. Her previous family members were known to kidnap and torture those who got in their way, and Ayano continued that trend and took it to an even higher level. Even willing to murder anyone who gets in the way of her and ‘Senpai’.
Boomstick: Get ready to hear that word A LOT! Because the moment this guy decided to be a gentleman, every horrific thing she does is in his name. Obsession my ass, that’s straight up worship.

Wiz: You’re not far off. Ayano believes that she is the only one for her Senpai, and despite not being the most physically threatening student, she is more than capable of committing and getting away with murder. But when you’re surrounded by dozens of students and teachers, you’ll need more than a few innocent looks to keep the good student facade going. Like her Yandere Vision, which acts as both a beacon to Senpai, any rivals and other students that might be lurking nearby. Giving her a home field advantage regardless of where she is.
Boomstick: But that matters little if you don’t have a Deadpool styled inventory that can carry pretty much anything you need. Knives, axes, a katana, baseball bats, a fucking circular saw: Anything she can get her hands on will instantly become a weapon. Taking a page from slasher movies, there's no need for technique here, just bash someone's skull in or stab them in the back until there's nothing left.
Wiz: The less sane she is, the more brutal her attacks are. If she isn’t careful about keeping her sanity in check, she’ll become unfocused and more likely to take too long with her kills.
Boomstick: Kinda like me when I lose the key to my beer safe and turn over the entire office until I find it.
Wiz: You have a beer safe?

Boomstick: In this economy, you kinda have to. How else am I to protect it from delinquents. Speaking of, Ayano has been known to get into quarrels with those hallway punks, some of them even carry fucking swords like some twisted version of My Hero. She’s strong enough to out wrestle multiple delinquents and push heavy dumpsters that could weigh an upwards of 2000 lbs, despite the fact that she doesn’t seem to ever work out. Plot armor I guess.
Wiz: Despite having little training, she can barely defeat the school's Martial Arts Club master, Budo Masuta, who has yet to lose a fight. But speaking of losses, should Ayano's cruel deeds be witnessed and she is kicked out, rejected and arrested, she will lose all sense of reality. Forgoing her will to live and completely losing her mind in the form of S N A P Mode.

Boomstick: Aka, the standalone reason why I’m forever single. I’m not risking it, Wiz. Especially when in this form she just seems completely unstoppable.
Wiz: When entering S N A P mode, Ayano is unable to run, but her mere presence terrifies everyone around her to the point that they become petrified with fear. Too terrified to even react when she kills everyone around them in the most brutal of fashions, letting out all of her build up frustrations in one blood soaked rampage. Whether because she literally feels nothing or is just amped on adrenaline, she can easily snap necks and ram her own fist through a person's entire body from the chest out. The force of which varies between 2000 to 3000 newtons.
Boomstick: And don't think you're safe just because you're not her senpai. She'll be so far gone that anyone that so much as looks at her is a target, and she'll find a way to kill everyone in the school before the police arrive. In some versions of the S N A P, she's even taken out multiple policemen.

Boomstick: But like all ultimate, game ending abilities, there's a catch. Once she kills her Senpai, she'll kill herself because he was the only thing keeping her alive. If you haven’t figured it out yet, she isn’t exactly of a stable mind. Her insanity and lack of real combat skills can lead to her being caught off guard and easily apprehended. Its easy to forget with how deadly she is, that she really is just an obsessed school girl.
Wiz: Most of what she is capable of requires a lot of careful planning, and when you’re juggling winning over the heart of your crush, eliminating the opposition and keeping the facade of a normal school girl, a lot of factors come into play. But if she manages to keep her mind in check and play innocent all at once, then you can bet that there will be blood to spill this school year. As the creator (YandereDev) once put it, nothing short of the supernatural can stop a determined Ayano Aishi.

Boomstick: I remember my high school years. I wish I didn’t, but I do. All those nights partying and last minute studying. And the countless heartbreaks.
Wiz: Oh I see. You were a regular ladies man in high school.
Boomstick: Uh, sure. That's definitely what I meant. All those crazy exes of mine begging me to come back, next thing you know I’m waking up in the middle of the night, tied to a chair with no way to escape… It can happen. Just ask Akira, the guy who had the worst of luck in that regard when he dumped a mentally deranged girl named Saiko.

Wiz: Saiko, whose name means ‘psycho’...
Boomstick: The parents were just asking for it at this point.
Wiz: … seems to suffer from DID, or Dissociative Identity Disorder, sometimes known as Multiple Personality Disorder. This extremely rare condition marks the appearance of two or more identities living within one person. People diagnosed with DID often experience high levels of anxiety, depression and even amnesia. And Saiko fits that bill to a T.
Boomstick: It wouldn’t be so bad if her personalities weren’t so different and trying to take control of the other. Normally she’s just your typical, shy highschooler that doesn’t want the attention. But the moment Akira came into her life is when a darker persona awoke and vowed to never let him go, even after he broke up with her.
Wiz: This personality was a callous, sadistic Yandere, hellbent on keeping Akira in her arms by any means necessary. Be it kidnap and lock him in an empty school, decapitate his best friend and if all else fails and she can’t have him, then nobody would. And believe us when we say that she is far more brutal than most Yanderes.

Wiz: For starters, Saiko knows her greatest strength lies in her deception. At first glance she appears as the most unassuming schoolgirl you’ll ever meet…
Boomstick: And the next she’s trying to rip your eyes out or poison you with homemade bombs. Despite having two very conflicting personalities, when they agree on something its hell or high water because while one is planning to kill you, the other is already convincing you they’re sorry for putting you in a leg lock. Speaking of, you wouldn’t think she’d be very strong at nearly 90lbs and barely 5ft 4.
Wiz: But she’s not only strong enough to kick double doors from their hinges, but even make Akira pass out within just a few seconds. Normally it takes a minimum of 30 seconds of oxygen deprivation to induce unconsciousness, but Saiko can do it in less than 5.
Boomstick: That's assuming she doesn’t just try to kill you from the start with that classic slasher movie weapon, the kitchen knife. Even at her most tame she’s still capable of taking down students who would normally overpower her. I guess deception really can go a long way.

Wiz: No kidding Boomstick. Like every Yandere before her, Saiko maps out and plans her attacks ahead. But as a sadist, she has no problem chasing her prey. Even with something as simple as a kitchen knife, she is somehow capable of completely decapitating Akira in one slice. This feat would require anywhere between 1000 to 2500 newtons, giving her strikes the same output of energy as a guillotine.
Boomstick: That might seem a bit of a reach, but this is the same girl that insists on torturing her targets as long as possible. Its only when she completely loses it that you should be really worried. Especially when she just starts appearing out of nowhere and kicks Akira through a set of doors. I can't say if normal Saiko can teleport, but I do something that can.
Wiz: Its not confrimed whether Saiko has a third personality or if its simply a product of Akiras imagination. But given the Japanese legends of Yokai corrupting young students, I wouldn't be surprised if Yangire was more than myth.
Yangire Mode[]

Boomstick: Basically, Yangires are even more chaotic versions of Yanderes. In Saiko's case, the bunny outfit is already like 10 extra red flags.
Wiz: This third persona embodies a more supernatural approach, giving Saiko a more demonic sense of violence. Be it manipulating the darkness around her to wielding twin blades that can just as easily sever limbs and even saw Akira in half. She also appears to summon help in the form of Hatsune Elissu. While little is known about Elissu, she is very similar to Saiko physically, meaning that they should be able to perform similar feats. Like leap from nearly 2 stories and suffer no damage from breaking through glass windows.
Boomstick: And just when you thought this wasn't creepy enough, Elissu eludes that Akira is stuck in some form of limbo. Forever to be killed by the person he rejected, over and over again. This kinda stuff is why stay off tinder, you never know who you're gonna meet.

Boomstick: Supernatural or not, Saiko is still no harder to defeat than most normal people. I'd argue if Akira just threw a single punch then the entire game would have been pointless. In one ending she dies from bloodloss after being impaled on shards of glass that she herself had broken. And while she's physically stronger than you'd expect, she has no actual combat training and isn't very fast and tends to just walk everywhere.
Wiz: And while her Yandere personality is indeed dangerous, its not impossible to overcome. It's not uncommon that people with multiple personalities will clash with themselves, and given the right circumstance, Saiko can become confused to the point where she rejects her more violent persona. If Akira was half as violent as her, she wouldn't have lasted the night.
Boomstick: But it speaks volumes when someone as innocent looking as Saiko can cause so much terror in such a short timeframe. The last mistake you want to make is confuse this little gall for anything other than the monster she truly is.

Wiz: Alright. The combatants are set and we've run the data through all possibilities.
Boomstick: Its time for a Death Battle!
Pre-Fight[]
3:00PM
The final bell of the day rings and all at once the students of Akademi begin pouring into the hallways. Each one more than ready to end the day and start the weekend. But there was one that really took her time getting out of the classroom, making her way towards her locker and into the plaza. Keeping both eyes on a certain boy from afar. Fawning over every little thing about him.
Few people tended to notice Ayano Aishi when she spied on Senpai from a distance and that was just how she liked it. She didn’t need someone ruining her chances of finding true happiness with the person she knew was hers and hers alone. No matter how much others would judge her, she knew the moment Senpai came into her life would be the start of a happy life.
Perhaps today in the plaza would be the day she would confess her love to him. She’d waited for everyone to leave as he sat next to the fountain…alone. She felt her heart race as she made her way towards him, her face burning with desire. She was finally going to make her dreams come true.
Only to stop dead in her tracks as another, much smaller girl approached ‘’her’’ Senpai. The short, red-haired head of Saiko peaked out from a bush and walked up behind the unassuming boy. She smiled devilishly behind her gas mask before sliding a small green vial under the boy's seat. Toxins began to leak from the vial and before he knew it, Senpai had passed out on the bench.
Saiko giggled with delight. The boy she’d been stalking all day was finally alone and would soon be hers for the taking, where he would most certainly be in more danger than before. But as she took off her mask to peek at Senpai’s unconscious face, she barely noticed Ayano sprinting towards them. Ayano's eyes locked dead on Saiko, absolutely fuming. How dare this little brat dare to lay a finger on her Senpai. With piercing eyes and clenched fists, she made a beeline for the surprised Saiko. Surging with murderous intent.
FIGHT![]
Tackling the little girl to the ground and away from her senpai, the pair rolled across the pavement, throwing blind punches. Being the larger of the two, Ayano managed to pin her foe before digging her fingers into Saiko's head and smashing it into the ground.
Evading a would be knockout blow, Saiko grabbed one of her fallen poison bombs with one hand and unsheathed a knife in the other. Slicing at Ayano to drive her back before tossing the poisoned carton at her, nailing her dead in the chest. The green liquid made a mess of Ayano's uniform and left an unbearable stench that threatened to knock her out as Saiko used the opportunity to strike.
Saiko rushed forward, slashing at the exposed Ayano. The blade cut into her forearm as she attempted to block it before pushing Saiko back, shoving her to the ground. Noticing a baseball bat left behind from the sports club, Ayano dived for it as Saiko lunged for her.
The moment it was in her hands, Ayano swung for Saiko's legs, knocking her to the ground with a brutal thud. She then proceeded to try to bash the redhead's skull in, forcing Saiko to roll around the concrete to avoid the blows. As Saiko managed to make it to her feet, the bat missing its mark as she lunged for the taller Yandere.
The miscalculation cost them both and their heads collided at the forehead, knocking both to the ground and leaving them temporarily dazed.
Ayano rubbed her forehead and rose, retrieving her knife. ‘’I don’t know who you are. But Senpai’s love belongs to me!’’ she said. Saiko giggled before rising to her feet. Giddy with excitement.
Staring down the other like a pair of fencers, the two engaged in a knife fight that would surely go to whoever made the first mistake. Saiko happily charged, swiping numerous times with intent to dismember the Yandere. But Ayano saw each novice slice coming from miles away and gained the upper hand, grabbing and pinning the smaller girl's arm to her side and smashing her fist into Saiko's defenseless face. Breaking her glasses.
‘’He belongs to me!’’ Throwing Saiko over her shoulder and onto the pavement, Ayano threatens to break the girl's arm…
Suddenly, Saiko swiftly headbutts Ayano in the stomach before bringing her down with her. Her eyes suddenly a bright shade of red as she trapped Ayano in a brutal chokehold, trapping her neck between her legs and refusing to release.
‘’He doesn’t even know who you are.’’ Saiko teased, pulling at Ayano's locks for her own twisted form of pleasure.
Yan-Chan struggled to break free as every passing second threatened to knock her unconscious. With her vision fading, Ayano pulled out a pair of scissor from her skirt and thrusted it into Saiko's right leg, spewing blood all over her and causing the younger yandere to scream.
Breaking free, Ayano went right for Saiko's face and caught her on the cheek as she crawled away with one good leg. Weaving left and right on the concrete below to avoid the lunging Ayano. But it could only work for so long.
‘’W-wait, wait please. I’m s-sorry,’’’ A teary eyed Saiko cried out to the frantic Ayano, who managed to catch her by the foot and drag her. ‘’I didn’t know he was your Senpai, please…’’ The red haired girl kicked and screamed as Ayano pinned her to the ground, her pleas falling on deaf ears. The blades of the scissors against her jugular.
‘’You don’t deserve him.’’ Ayano said coldly. ‘’You don’t deserve to li-’’
However, Ayano didn’t get to finish as she felt something sharp imbed itself through her shirt and into her stomach. The air left her lungs and tears flooded her eyes as she fell on her side, next to a laughing Saiko. A bloody knife in her hand. During their scuffle she must have found her missing knife and was waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Still laughing, Saiko stood on one wobbly leg. Examining her knife.
‘’You talk too much.’’ Saiko said before falling to one knee. Despite the pain, the red haired Yandere did nothing more than laugh, and laugh, and laugh until there was nothing else to hear. Ayano barely paid attention as she rolled onto her back, clutching her stomach as her vision blurred.
‘’Are you done,’’ asked Saiko as she came into view, looking very different from before. Now sporting a rather crude bunny suit with blood smeared across her lips, the Psycho Stalker cocked her head to the side. ‘’because I'm not.’’
Pulling out two sawed blades from behind her back, the crazed Saiko hooked them between Ayano's legs and dragged her across the pavement. Blood poured from the wounds. Yan-Chan attempted to pull herself away, only to be kicked square in the nose. Blood burst from her nostrils as she screamed in pain and clutched at her face.
‘’I want you to see what I do next.’’ Saikos said deviously before disappearing for a moment, only to reappear just as Ayano's vision returned. Directly above her was Saiko with her beloved Senpai trapped in her hellish grasp.
‘’He is quite lovely to look at,’’ said Saiko as she played with Senpai’s hair, much to the disabled Ayano's disgust. To her horror, it didn’t end there. Saiko put one of her blades to the unconscious boy's neck, drawing blood from the slightest twist. ‘’So look at him and weep.’’
Before Ayano could even let out a scream, Saiko hooked the blades and decapitated her Senpai in one go. His blood rained down upon her like a fountain, with Saiko laughing all the while as Ayano clutched her face and let out a painful shriek.
Ayano’s world burned around her the moment her Senpai’s head hit the ground. Her screams became inaudible and her heart pounded too fast to be heard, leaving her empty. Senpai’s lifeless gaze looking back at her. Blood poured down Ayano’s face as she sent a desolate glare towards the crazed Yandere who took everything from her.
And then she cracked.
Her eyes became blank slates, filled with invisible rage. Saiko suddenly stopped laughing as she felt an unbelievable amount of dread course through her veins. Up until this point she had thought herself victorious over her incredibly beaten and naïve opponent, who thought that she could ever achieve happiness.
Ayano looked on with a blank expression before slowly, almost in a trance like state, began to slowly approach her foe. The slow, methodical way Ayano stood was enough to make even the psychotic Saiko second guess.
And that was all it took.
Yandere-Chan thrust her hand forward and caught the surprised Saiko by the throat, her other hand catching the blade that only delayed the inevitable. The other drove right into Ayanos side but she pushed on, closing the distance and then some, feeling no pain whatsoever. Saiko however, could very well feel her throat begin to close in.
With a sudden kick, the psycho girl freed herself and, realizing playtime was over, swung her blade in an upwards motion. Blood spattered the ground as Ayano’s left hand was completely severed from the wrist. If it was anyone else it might have sealed the deal as Saiko smiled, preparing to finish the original Yandere off.
But the loss of her limb wasn’t going to stop Ayano…nothing was.
As Saiko rose her blade, Ayano lunged forward with her remaining strength and brutally plunged her hand into Saiko's chest. Bone cracked and tendons severed as Saiko went into shock almost immediately. Blood sprayed from the large wound in her chest as Ayano only continued to push it deeper before exiting out her back.
A pool of blood was created beneath the pair as Saiko was practically impaled on Ayanos arm, her body twitching violently as the air left what remained of her lungs. Her vision went dark just before Ayano pulled back, dropping the lifeless Saiko.
Despite the very real threat of blood loss, Ayano couldn’t find it in herself to care.
Not when she had nothing left to care for.

Boomstick: Geesh. Glad I’m not the object of her affection.
Wiz: Both Yanderes had very clear advantages over the other. For starters, Ayano was much faster and easily the better fighter of the two.
Boomstick: She’s not assassin worthy but Yan-Chan can take on multiple sword wielding delinquents or even martial artists on her own, while Saiko never really fought anyone on her level and used fear tactics above actual combat. Why do you think most of her offense consisted of pushing people and attacking them only after gaining their trust? But she still had a few things that kept Ayano on her toes, such as her surprising brute strength.
Wiz: Both could perform similar feats of strength such as kicking down locked doors, snapping necks at uncomfortable angles and striking with an output around 2000 newtons of force that could break bone and sever limbs entirely.
Boomstick: But despite her smaller frame, Saiko could match and surpass Ayano in certain ways. Being able to decapitate a person with a simple kitchen knife in one slice or completely cut a person in half in one go is a bit more impressive than needing a full blown buzz saw to do your dismembering.
Wiz: But that was almost all base Saiko really had. She was nowhere near as fast, and even if she managed to get enough distance between her and Ayano, Yan-Chans Yandere Vision meant that there was nowhere for her to hide. Ultimately, given that neither school girl is exactly the most durable, it would come down to first one to make a fatal flaw. On paper, Ayano's experience and speed would make this a cakewalk.
Boomstick: But then there's Saiko's Yangire mode, which could definitely give Yan-Chan a run for her money. Making the assumption that she's more supernatural than anything else, Yangire Saiko wouldn't be easy to put down.
Wiz: Yangire Saiko had a lot of physical advantages, especially in durability, seeing as she could crash through glass windows and leap from 2 stories and suffer no damage. She also gained a massive speed boost and teleportation to boot. However, none of that would matter if she couldn't kill Ayano first.
Boomstick: Ayano wasn't just the only one who could put their murderous tendencies to good use in actual combat, but she had her own trump cards as well. S N A P mode is an entirely different level than Yangire, who again, aside from having deadlier weapons, has never shown the same level of murderous intent as Ayano. Depending on the SNAP ending, Ayano could break free from a police car, kill the officers and murder the entire school if she wanted to. Thats a lot more damage than anything Saiko has ever done. Sure, the downside with S N A P mode is that she’ll kill herself once she’s accomplished her goal, but the fact remains that she could easily kill Saiko before her time expires.
Wiz: But even without SNAP, Ayano is also much better at improvising than Saiko, who needs a lot more time planning and preparing traps for a single person. But Ayano doesn't care who you are: an innocent student, a baseball wielding delinquent or a literal karate champion, she will find a way to kill you and make it hurt.
Boomstick: She loves Senpai, yes she do, he's for her, not for you.
Wiz: I guess that's better than last time.
Boomstick: Oh shut it, you still got an entire season to Yan-dure my terrible jokes.

- This is a battle of the Yanderes (obviously). Both girls are obsessed with their ''senpai'' who they've sworn to ''protect'' from rivals, be they other girls or the senpai's best friends. Both will also resort to killing their senpai should they refuse their advances too many times.
- Saiko is more likely to kill her senpai than Ayano, who believes that his life and hers are tied together.
- Both Yanderes suffer from some form of mental Disorder, with Ayano being the child of a Yandere herself, and seemingly suffering from Depression and Obessive Love Disorder (OLD). Saiko on the other hand is directly stated to suffer from Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID). This is based upon her tendency to switch between personalities at random times.
- While Ayano's mental state could be blamed on her mothers parenting skills (or lack thereof), the origins of Saiko-Chans mental disorder are currently unknown.
- Ayano and Saiko have their limits in the form of S N A P mode and Yangire Mode, where they appear to lose all sense of reality and go into fits of uncontrolable rage.
