Ataru Kinniku is a major supporting character from the Shonen Jump series, Kinnikuman. Ataru Kinniku is the older brother to Suguru Kinniku, better known as Kinnikuman, who ran away from home and supports his brother from the sidelines while disguised as Kinnikuman Soldier.

History[]
Ataru Kinniku was the eldest son of Mayumi and Sayuri Kinniku, the King and Queen of Planet Kinniku, and was the first in line to inherit the throne and become the next king.
However, Ataru grew tired of their training and ran away from home. But he would watch from the sidelines as he watched his younger brother, Suguru, in his fights and learning the value of friendship.
Later, Ataru would return to help his brother and his friends face off against the Five Fated Princes for the throne, by eliminating the original Kinnikuman Soldier, and taking the mantle.
