Armin never fit in as a kid. He was curious and intelligent, but he was physically weak, needing his friends Eren and Mikasa to save him from bullies. When Wall Maria fell, he and his grandfather fled, but his grandfather was called to serve in a suicide mission to retake the wall. Enlisting in the 104th Cadet Corps, he sought to use his skills for the greater good. He is the current Colossal Titan shifter, inherited from Berthold Hoover, but has no experience with his new ability.
Armin's physical ability and self-confidence is lacking, but his intellect and quick thinking make him a skilled tactician and strategist on the field, his plans turning the tide in his favor several times.
