Aquaman vs. Namor is a What-If? episode of Death Battle.
Description
Marvel vs DC! Which seemingly lame Sea-God will win in this wave of a fight! (hehehe)

Wiz: *imitating Lex Luthor* WROOOOONG! Anyway, these two DON'T suck. Anyway, the first combatant is Aquaman, the mocked-member of the Justice League.
Boomstick: And Namor, the arrogant Sea Leader and First Mutant. He's Wiz; and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win, a DEATH BATTLE!
Aquaman
Typical Aquaman Hater: Aquaman sucks. All he does is command animals and get beaten up a lot.
Wiz: All of which is false. Aquaman is OBVIOUSLY the 3rd strongest member of the JLA, idiots. Orin was created when her mother was conceived in her dreams, by a wizard. Too bad that his hair was blonde, which apparently isn't a good thing.
Boomstick: Aquaman DOES NOT SUCK, PEOPLE! A family of dolphins adopted him, and you know the rest of the story. If your'e not an Aquaman Hater, that is.
Wiz: Aquman is surprisingly powerful, oh, and NO. He can do WAYYYY more then call animals.He can breathe underwater, and on land, has extreme reflexes, and can lift 100,000 tons.
Boomstick: And of coure, Aquman DOES have his telepathy. But, Aquaman's telepathy goes WAYYY farther then you expect. He once summoed Cthulu!
Wiz: Boomstick is correct. He also has a Trident, which is extremely powerful and can rip almost anything apart. Aquaman is an extremely skilled swimmer, and can most likely swim at hypersonic speeds.
Boomstick: Yep, Aquaman is one powerful hero, kids. But, he still has a few weaknesses, as animals are NOT forced to attack Aquaman's opponent. And, if he spends too much time on Earth, he'll die. But kids, Aquaman is OP.
The Atom: Dr. Choi. Hello?
Aquaman: Doctor! Aquaman here. What's new, old friend?
The Atom: I was just in the middle of conducting a delicate tachyon detection experiment, "old friend".
Aquaman: Tachyons eh? Splendid! Atta boy!
Batman: Get to the point.
Namor
Wiz: Believe it or not, the First Mutant was actually Namor the Submariner.
Boomstick: WOAHWOAHWOAH, DON'T start the hate party YET! He doesn't suck.
Wiz: Namor actually has extreme strength, fighting off against some of Marvel's heaviest hitters, like Thor & The Hulk. He's even been a heavy-hitter himself!
Boomstick: Like Aquaman, Namor is a master of the sea and is pretty much considered a god to it. He has defeated some extremely powerful Marvel Characters, although he hasn't defeated absolutely everybody.
Wiz: See, he DOESN'T SUCK. Namor has teamed up with the Avengers, many, many, times.
Boomstick: YET HE STILL DOESN'T HAVE A MOVIE!
Wiz: Anyway, Namor has one Mutant Ability. That is, the ability to fly. How, exactly? Well,
Boomstick: Ok, DON'T MAKE FUN OF IT! Namor has small fins on his leg that allow him to fly, that's all. But while Namor is extremely powerful, he has been shown to be quite arrogant at times. So kids, don't be arrogant.
Wiz: And don't mess with Namor the Submariner.
DEATH BATTLE!
Aquaman was swimming through Atlantis until he noticed someone off in the distance. "Batman? Shazam? Superman?" Aquaman eventually stopped his thoughts and swam over, towards the mysterious figure and saw Namor the Sub-Mariner. Namor asked, "Who are you? The king of the sea? Ha!" Namor got into an underwater fighting position, while Aquaman pulled out his trident.
FIGHT!
The sea king of the JLA attacked first, by stabbing Namor straight into him chest. Namor quickly gets up, and taunts, 'You will never defeat the true king!" while kicking Aquaman far off into the distance. The Avenger looks around and notices Aquaman swimming back. Suddenly, he noticed that Aquaman was summoning a large, intimidating creature...Cthuluhu!
Namor thought, "I'll defeat it, whatever it is-" Namor was punched far back from Cthuluh, all the way to Atlantis. Aquaman swam back, and shrugged--another easy win, for the real deal of the sea. Suddenly, Namor got up, and kicked Aquaman all sorts of times, and eventually kicked him all the way to the bottom of the ground.
"Let's see if you can fight...IN THE AIR!"
Namor got out of the water and flew up, into the sky. Aquaman swam out, and saw Namor high in the sky. The Marvel sea king asked, "Can you fly?" Aquaman, really, didn't know how to fly. "I don't...-but I'll still kill you anyway!" Aquaman leaps up and tries to hit Namor with his trident, but misses and falls back to the Earth. Namor flew down a bit, and kicked Aquaman onto a far away island, and flew along with Aquaman.
Namor was about to finish Aquaman off, when he was suddenly ripped in half of the punishing force of a large and ferocious group of pirhanas,sharks, and other sea beasts biting at his chest. Aquaman throws Namor's half-body into the water, and resums protecting atlantis. It was just another victory.
KO!
Results
Boomstick: I told you! These guys are OP!
Wiz: This was not as close as it would thought to be. While Namor did have the advantage on land, he is arrogant and would allow Aquaman to hit him. Aquaman has WAYYY more experience than Namor.
Boomstick: Yes, Namor has fought he Hulk and Thor, but Aquaman has fought characters like those 2, such as Superman. Looks like Namor drowned.
Wiz: The winner, is Aquaman.
Description
Marvel vs DC! Which young trident-wielding hybrid King of Atlantis and master of the oceans will come out on top?!
Interlude
Wiz: Protectors of Atlantis! Rulers of the Ocean! These young sea kings dedicate their lives to protecting their kingdoms.
Boomstick: And with their aquatic abilities and power they use their powers for the good of mankind like Aquaman, the son of Queen Atlanta and King of Atlantis.
Wiz: And Namor, the Sub-Mariner.
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a DEATH BATTLE!
Aquaman
Wiz: Decades ago, a lighthouse keeper named Tom Curry was outside his lighthouse by the sea when he saw a young woman washed up on the shore.
Boomstick: Being the nice dude that he was, Tom then took the woman in and eventually had a child with her called Arthur Curry, but when Arthur started showing that he had superhuman strength and speed along with the abilities to breathe underwater and talk to fish him and Arthur and his Dad were very confused about how he could have gotten these powers.
Wiz: However, all would be revealed by his Mother on her deathbed who told her family that she was Atlanta, the exiled Queen of Atlantis and that Arthur was destined to one day rule Atlantis himself. After this Tom educated Arthur and taught him how to control his powers before allowing him to descend to his watery kingdom and claim his birthright and on that day Arthur became known as Aquaman.
Boomstick: A.k.a The superhero who sucks! (Gets slapped by Wiz’s robotic arm) Ow! Well, I guess I deserved that one.
Wiz: Anyways, as an Atlantean, Arthur has a vast array of abilities at his disposal. He’s strong enough to lift up oil rigs, blue whales, tanks and entire bridges. He was able to pull a massive submarine the size of Atlantis all the way, has beaten up the likes of Superman, Martian Manhunter, Ultraman and Lobo before, lifted the God Poseidon and was able to knock out Despero (who has previously threatened the entire Justice League) in a few hits.
Boomstick: He’s fast enough to travel 20,000 feet per second, has reacted to Superman and Wonder Woman’s attacks, has dodged bullets and has swum fast enough to create whirlpools and keep up with the Flash as well as tag him.
Wiz: He’s also durable enough to no-sell hits from Martian Manhunter and Wonder Woman, shrug off hits from Lobo, Solomon Grundy and Ocean Master’s trident, has survived swimming at the Deepest Ocean Depths, falling from orbit, extreme temperatures and being inside a collapsing building.
Boomstick: Aquaman has the power to heal himself and others to the point where he can even bring people back from the dead. And alongside his ability to breathe underwater, he can also talk to fish using his mind which sounds pretty stupid if you ask me unless you’re some kind of fisherman and you want to make your job easier instead of waiting AGES and AGES for the fish to come to you.
Wiz: Actually Boomstick, Aquaman’s telepathy is a LOT more impressive then that. Not only can he use it on sea life but also on humans, animals and even aliens as well. He was able to give a White Martian a seizure, telepathically assault every creature on a Earth, was able to forcibly read Martian Manhunter’s mind and resist his own telepathic assault (who’s an extremely gifted telepathy himself), control a Green Lantern ring, summon a pod of whales to flood Hawaii and has even used it to devolve his opponents in a fight.
Boomstick: Wait, he can devolve his opponents using only his mind?! I’d better not fucking piss him off then!
Wiz: While he can also use his telepathy to subconsciously predict his opponents moves in a battle, as previously mentioned he can use it to communicate with sea life and call upon their aid in battle. He’s used whales to trigger tsunamis, Dolphins, used squids to sink ships and blind opponents with ink and has used jellyfish to restrain Aquagirl.
Boomstick: Oh yeah, he can even summon the creature called Topo and no, he’s NOT the guy from Dragon Ball Super because unlike that guy this Topo is some kind of weird Cthulhu octopus crossbreed monster that can survive missile attacks and wipe out massive submarine units. Well, now I know what I’m going to be asking for when I go down to the pet store this week!
Wiz: His trademark weapon is his indestructible trident, which allows him to create storms, tidal waves and whirlpools, make other objects disappear, fire lightning bolts and even create force fields. It’s also sharp enough to pierce Darkseid’s chest and stab him in the eye.
Boomstick: But then there’s the most powerful tool in his arsenal, the Water Hand! Aw, come on with all the crazy items in comic books surely someone could have come up with a better name than ‘the Water Hand’?!
Wiz: After losing his left hand to a group of piranhas and replacing it with a hook and then a cybernetic hand, Arthur would eventually stumble upon the dimension known as Secret Sea, before being granted the title of ‘Waterbearer’ and then being a new hand. With this new hand he can manipulate the surrounding water, can separate the ocean, can negate the magic of other beings, teleport and enter the Secret Sea dimension to permanently heal any injuries he has received.
Boomstick: He can also use it for more badass purposes such as through phasing through other beings bodies and damaging their organs or killing his opponents by removing all of their bodily fluids. Damn, this is another reason why I REALLY wouldn’t to piss this guy off if I met him!
Wiz: Being the King of Atlantis, Aquaman is a master tactician and has defended his kingdom from a variety of threats, he’s also knows about all swimming techniques and has trained in several Atlantean and conventional armed and unarmed fighting styles to the point where’s been able to fight on par with Lobo and even overpower Batman and Deathstroke who are both incredible hand-to-hand fighters in their right!
Boomstick: He’s also to proven to be real badass several times in his career! He’s been able to stop an entire war just by showing up, rehydrated himself with blood, stopped what he was doing to support a woman who was contemplating suicide and has made even made out with Wonder Woman in the past. Lucky bastard!
Wiz: Aquaman has been able to outpace Flash underwater, has knocked out Superman, earned the respect of Martian Manhunter in a test of strength, helped create the Justice League, earned the title of ‘Waterbearer’, survived the depths of hell, has commanded alive and undead creatures of the sea, defended Atlantis with a broken arm and saved Poseidon from the Underworld after Pimp Slapping Charon, cutting down Cerberus, and outsmarted Hades.
Boomstick: But, despite all his powers, he does have his fair share of weaknesses. If he spends too long out of the water he will slowly begin to weaken, is more vulnerable to piercing weapons than your average joe and if he uses the Waterhand too much in a bad range it can begin to have negative consequences on his body. Also, a lot of DC fans don’t like him due to the crappy TV shows he had back in the day.
Wiz: However, with his powerful water-controlling abilities, deadly arsenal and tactical ability, Aquaman has definitely earned his title as ruler of the oceans!
Aquaman: Lay down your arms! I'm serious and I have the firepower to prove it! Sworn protectorate of over fifteen thousand submarine states. My territory surrounds every continent on the planet. I rule most of this planet's surface and almost all of its depths. So don't even think about picking a fight with the King of Atlantis.
Namor
Wiz: In the 1920s, sailor, Leonard Mackenzie was tasked with a mission to recover the metal Vibranium in the Atlantic Ocean and the Emperor of Atlantis, Thakorr sent his daughter Princess Fen to investigate the activities at the surface.
Boomstick: Mackenzie would then meet the Princess, before they decided to get all ‘lovey-duvy’ with each other which resulted in Fen becoming pregnant. 9 months later she gave birth to a son, Prince Namor.
Wiz: Namor would grow up in Atlantis and eventually decided to get involved with matters on the surface, fighting in WW2 against Nazi Germany alongside the likes of Captain America and the Original Human Torch.
Boomstick: After his grandfather and mother would perish as a result of an earthquake, Namor would end up losing his memory and spending several years not knowing his identity. But, eventually he would regain his memories with the help of the Fantastic Four and become the Ruler of Atlantis. Hey Wiz, I have a question.
Wiz: What is it?
Boomstick: Wasn’t Triton the King of Atlantis? You know the guy from the Little Mermaid movie?
Wiz: Boomstick, have you not been paying attention at all during the Aquaman analysis and Namor’s analysis?! They are the Kings of Atlantis in the Marvel and DC continuities. Triton’s not being included in this matchup!
Boomstick interrupts.
Boomstick: Ah, I always loved that the Little Mermaid movie, especially that human-octopus lady with the nice ass...
Wiz interrupts.
Wiz: MOVING ONTO NAMOR’S ABILITIES NOW! *Ahem* He is incredibly strong being able to punch out Hulk multiple times, one-shot the likes of the Thing and Wolverine, make Thanos and Sentry bleed with his blows, go toe-to-toe with the likes of Thor and Hercules, lift up massive submarines and once threw a 50 tonne tank into the air causing it to crash into an airplane that Tony Stark was flying in.
Boomstick: Note to self, don’t get on a plane unless I want to risk some super powered maniac throwing stuff at it.
Wiz: Namor is fast enough to create whirlwinds while swimming, dodge and catch heat seeking missiles, block Thor’s hammer strike, blitz Iron Man, tag Spider-Man and catch up to the Human Torch while he was flying.
Boomstick: He’s also bulletproof and taken hits from Hulk, Doctor Doom, Thor’s hammer, Hercules, Thanos, Sentry and Iron Man, has survived being weakened by the Human Torch’s flames, endured being electrocuted by thousands of volts of electricity and lived after having an entire mountain collapse on him. What the fuck!
Wiz: Apart from being able to see and breathe underwater, Namor’s body can also heal from injuries particularly quickly as long as he’s in water and can generate bio electricity by absorbing other forms of generate. He can even use this bioelectricity to electrocute the surrounding air in order to injure his opponents.
Boomstick: Like his DC counterpart, Namor also has telepathy and uses it to communicate with his fellow Atlanteans as well as the fish. He’s also got wings on his legs that allow him to fly.
Wiz: His weapon of choice is Neptune’s trident which can be used to control any body of water, fire energy blasts and create massive whirlpools and tsunamis to overwhelm his opponent.
Boomstick: Then there’s the Horn of Proteus, which allows him to summon hordes of sea creatures as well as this massive sea monster thing called Giganto which looks like he’s related to that big whale from that Pinocchio movie!
Wiz: Giganto can dwarf most buildings and ships with its sheer size and destroy them with ease, can shoot water out of its blowhole and it’s hide is durable enough to tank atomic blasts. However, despite its power, Giganto’s organs are very vulnerable to damage and it can only operate on the surface for short periods of time before needing to rest and recover.
Boomstick: Oh yeah, there was once a time when Namor was given the power of Phoenix Force which boosts his strength, speed, durability and telepathy to insane levels, allows him to use telekinesis, manipulate matter, resurrect people, fly through space and fry his opponents with cosmic flames which can even function underwater and in space. But, he can lose access to the Phoenix Force if his opponents can use magic to cut off his connection to it.
Wiz: Namor is also a great hand-to-hand combat fighter and is knowledgeable of pressure points. He’s also been able to keep up with the likes of Thor, Spider-Man, Daredevil and Captain America in a fist fight. The fact that he’s able to keep up with Captain America in particular is really impressive, since Steve is adept in every fighting style and martial art known to man. His tactical skills are also impressive as he has led Atlantis through several wars and has even matched Ares, the God of War’s tactical skill before.
Boomstick: Namor’s sheer willpower and engineering skills are also worth acknowledging, however his most impressive skill of all is ability to roast people! He has roasted Iron Man about how the Avengers have some odd members, has roasted Mr. Fantastic on his devotion to Sue Storm and once basically told Magneto to shut the hell up! Good luck trying to cope with that, Aquaman!
Wiz: Namor was the first modern-day Marvel hero to appear in Marvel comics, he has also helped saved Atlantis on multiple occasions, declared war on Atlantis by flooding it, has taken on the Fantastic Four by himself on multiple occasions, freed Captain America after he was frozen in ice, soled a large portion of the Avengers and ripped Red Hulk’s arm off whilst wielding a portion of the Phoenix Force, has knocked out the Incredible Hulk more than once and is a founding member of the group known as the Illuminati...
Boomstick interrupts
Boomstick: Wait, you mean this guy helped found THE Illuminati?! Someone needs to call the police!!
Wiz interrupts
Wiz: No Boomstick, in the Marvel universe Illuminati is actually a superhero group, it’s got NOTHING to do with the Illuminati group that’s become such a big sensation on the internet nowadays!
Boomstick: Aww, that sucks!
Wiz: Anyways, Namor does have his fair share of flaws. If he spends too much time out of the water, his strength will rapidly diminish to the point where he only possesses a small fraction of his powers, his strength can also be diminished even faster if he’s exposed to extreme heat for long periods for time, he’s also experienced a vulnerability to oxygen imbalance when remaining too long in either water or air and cannot control water properly without his trident.
Boomstick: He also basically has the personality of Vegeta from Dragon Ball and like the Prince of all Sayians, he’s pretty arrogant and isn’t afraid of using brutal tactics in a fight to come out on top.
Wiz: But, with his great physicality, incredible tactical ability and impressive arsenal, Namor has proven time and time again that despite all the heavy hitters that exist in his universe, he is still a force to be reckoned with, even after being in Marvel Comics for over 70 years!
Namor: Whoever is guilty of such callous disdain for the denizens of the deep shall suffer at the hands of the Sub-Mariner! THIS I SWEAR!
Pre-DEATH BATTLE
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set, let’s end this debate once and for all!
Boomstick: It’s time for a DEATH BATTLE!
DEATH BATTLE!
In the underwater city of Atlantis, Arthur Curry better known as the Aquaman was walking through his palace when an armored Atlantean solider with a laser gun ran up to him.
Atlantean solider: Your majesty, we have heard reports of an Atlantean in the Atlantic Ocean who is claiming to be the King of Atlantis. We sent some troops to intercept him, but they’re struggling to fight him, we need your assistance at once!
A serious expression forms on Arthur’s face as he replies to the solider.
Aquaman: This imposter could an alternate version of myself or be an associate of Ocean Master or Black Manta, I’ll go confront him now!
Atlantean solider: Understood. Good luck, sire.
Aquaman then leaves Atlantis and swims through the Atlantic Ocean before arriving in a open sea area relatively near the surface. Battle cries and the firing of weapons can be heard as the Waterbearer got closer to the location where the imposter was last seen. Aquaman then sees several Atlantean soldiers lying unconscious on the seabed with their armour dented. Looking up, he saw the imposter fighting 5 Atlantean soldiers.
As one solider fired at him the imposter used his trident to redirect the plasma blast towards the seabed before charging up an energy blast from his trident and launching it at the solider, hitting him in the chest plate of his armour and sending him crashing into the seabed below, incapacitated.
CRASH!
Another solider then shouted at the imposter.
Atlantean solider: You monster! We will bring you in for attacking your fellow people and you will have to answer to the King of Atlantis!
Two soldiers then fire several plasma blasts at the imposter, who ducks under them with ease, before putting his trident down, swimming up to the soldiers grabbing their guns and snapping them in two, before grabbing the two solider’s by their helmets with both of his hands and then slamming their heads against each other knocking the soldiers out.
CRACK!
???: You misunderstand, my subjects. I am Namor, the true King of Atlantis and I will not tolerate your behaviour towards me!
The two remaining soldiers then point their guns at Namor before Aquaman interrupts the conversation.
Aquaman: Soldiers, stand down and take your injured comrades back to Atlantis. I will personally deal with this imposter!
The soldiers then grab the unconscious bodies of their comrades and retreat, leaving the two Kings on their own.
Namor then folds his arms as he stares at Arthur.
Aquaman: I am Aquaman, King of Atlantis and I will now bring you to justice for what you have done to my soldiers!
Aquaman then points his trident towards Namor in order to try and threaten him, but Namor is not intimidated by him at all.
Namor: You cannot possibly be a member of Atlantean royalty with such ridiculous attire, I don’t think I’ll even need my trident to put you in your place!
Arthur is slightly annoyed by his opponents’ insult, but then points his trident at Namor again, whilst getting into a battle position.
Aquaman: It would be unwise for you to underestimate me!
Aquaman swings his trident towards Namor’s chest from the right of Namor’s body to the left of it, but Namor dodges the strike. Aquaman then tries to slash Namor across again by swinging his trident from right of Namor’s body this time to the left of it but the Sub-Mariner dodges the trident again. Arthur then lifts his trident above his head and tries to bring it down on Namor, but he manages to intercept and grab the trident with his right hand before punching the blonde sea king in the chest with his right arm, stunning him slightly.
Aquaman is surprised by the strength of Namor’s punch, but recovers quickly before trying to swing his trident towards Namor again several times as the two begin to move through the water. Namor then begins to swat away Arthur’s trident strikes with his hands as a confident expression begins to form on his face.
Namor: Is that really the best you can do against me?! Clearly the standard of the Atlantian army has dropped significantly!
Aquaman then tries to kick Namor in the gut, but he intercepts the attack with his hands.
Namor: And you’ve just proven my point even fur~~
CRACK!
Aquaman suddenly punches Namor across the face knocking the Sub-Mariner towards the seabed.
Aquaman: Don’t forget imposter, I am no ordinary solider!
Aquaman then grabs his trident and prepares to throw it at Namor.
Aquaman: I am the King of Atlantis!
Arthur then throws his trident towards Namor in a downward motion, and he is caught off guard by the speed of the trident. While he is able to avoid getting impaled by the weapon, one of the trident spikes still slashes his lower arm and elbow as it rockets past him and emeddeds itself in the seabed.
Namor: Hmm, I suppose you’re more impressive than I thought, however that stunt of yours seems to have cost you your weapon!
Aquaman floats above Namor unfazed before responding to his opponent.
Aquaman: I do not need my trident to guarantee my victory by over you!
Aquaman then swims towards Namor at a rapid pace and begins hammering the Sub Mariner with blows knocking him back through the ocean, however Namor manages to intercept the attacks thanks to his hand-to-hand combat skill, before launching his own barrage of punches and kicks upon the blonde sea king. The two seem to be evenly matched in their struggle with both of them either countering or tanking each other’s blows for a while, but eventually Namor’s sheer strength begins to get the better of Arthur, and he uppercuts him before sending him flying into a fairly tall mound of sand nearby.
CRASH!
The mound of sand then collapses on top of Aquaman burying him completely. While Namor was fairly confident that he had managed to take his foe down he had a feeling that this wasn’t the last he’d see of Aquaman and got himself back into a fighting position. His suspicions were correct as moments later a large chunk of sand was flung everywhere as Aquaman emerged from the mound with a bit of blood coming out of his nose.
Namor: I had a feeling you would survive that
Aquaman: I told you not to underestimate me, imposter!
Aquaman then used his telepathy to request for the help of a nearby dolphin, which complied with his request and brought him back his trident in its mouth before swimming away.
Namor (thoughts): It seems that he has telepathic abilities as well, I’d better keep an eye on him to make sure he can’t attack with them
Arthur then prepared to swim towards Namor and attack him with his trident, but before he could do so, the Sub-Mariner caught him off-guard by swimming towards him at a rapid pace and beginning to hammer him with blows which Arthur countered with his trident. He couldn’t tell if his opponent was either really cocky or trying to get the upper-hand by launching this surprise assault, but he did know that he had to remain focused to avoid getting seriously injured by his opponent. Namor then tried to punch Aquaman in the face, but the sea king quickly lifted his trident up to block the attack. Namor’s fist then collided with the Pole section of the trident with considerable force.
CLANG!
After blocking his opponent’s punch he tried swinging his trident at Namor again with his right hand before using his Waterhand to manipulate the surrounding water creating a torrent of water and attempting to launch Namor back with the sheer force of the torrent, however the Sub-Mariner quickly put his arms in front of his chest in order to shield himself from the torrent and was only knocked back slightly by it. A shocked expression then formed on Arthur’s face as he saw electricity begin to crackle around Namor. He had converted the kinetic energy of the torrent of water into electrical energy to charge up his bioelectricty. Seeing that his opponent was still distracted, Namor then swam up to him and kneed DC’s sea king in the gut electrocuting him and causing him to cough up blood.
Aquaman: GAH!
Namor: Hmph, even with all that armor you still cannot defend yourself against my attacks! I am coping far better than you are without your armor!
Namor then punches Aquaman right in the face with another electrically charged punch, busting his nose and knocking him back slightly.
Arthur took a couple of seconds to catch his breath before regaining his composure.
Aquaman: If you’re going to fight without honour maybe it’s time I returned the favor and also showed you the importance of wearing armor
Arthur then swung his trident in an upward motion, with the pole section of the trident striking Namor in the groin, causing him to crumple down in pain. Taking advantage of his opponent’s weakness, Arthur then slashed him across the chest with his trident.
SKINT!
Despite feeling a lot of pain, Namor managed to dodge a jab from Aquaman’s trident and increase the distance between himself and the blonde sea king.
Namor: I may have slightly underestimated your potential, Aquaman, but you’re going to find it a lot a harder to fight me now!
Namor then takes out his own trident and swings towards Arthur, the two trident’s colliding with considerable force.
CLANG!
The two kings begin to exchange blows evenly with their two tridents as they travel deeper into the Atlantic Ocean. After about 30 seconds of trident fighting they begin to travel towards the wreck of a giant ship on the seabed. It was the RMS Titanic. Seeing that the ship was nearby, Namor quickly swam above Aquaman, before firing an energy blast and launching it at Arthur who blocked the attack with his forcefield, however he still sent flying back into the rusty hull of the Titanic.
CRASH!
Inside the Titanic
Aquaman found himself inside a small bedroom with a bunk bed at one end of the room and a mirror and sink at the other. Before he could take in anything else about his surroundings though, he saw another energy blast from Namor’s trident rocketing towards him which he managed to dodge. The blast creating a small hole in the floor below. As Arthur looked up he saw Namor swim into the room and the two locked eyes for a moment before Aquaman broke the silence.
Aquaman: You better stop this behaviour at once, imposter! If you continue to resist, I may have to use lethal force to bring you down!
Namor: Your pride greatly amuses me, Aquaman, however your intelligence does not! No warrior in their right mind would restrict the fight to such a confined space
Before Aquaman could say anything else, Namor thrust his trident towards him with the blonde sea king parrying the blow with his own trident. Namor continued going on the offence, attacking Arthur with a number of trident strikes and physical blows and while the blonde sea king was able to dodge them, the Sub Mariner was able to anticipate this and responded by kicking Aquaman in the chest sending him flying back into the mirror and sink, breaking them.
CRASH!
As Aquaman recovered from the impact he saw Namor’s fist flying towards his face and managed to dodge it with the Sub-Mariner embedding his fist in the nearby wall.
Namor: Hmm, your speed is remarkable
Whilst his opponent was pulling his fist out of the wall, Arthur took this opportunity to quickly swim to the other end of the room and grab the nearby bunk bed and toss it at Namor who quickly destroyed it with a blast from his trident before punching Arthur in the gut sending him crashing through the door of the room and oblitering it upon impact.
CRASH!
Aquaman recovered from Namor’s kick quickly and was now in a narrow corridor that seaweed and barnacles growing on the floor and walls of the corridor. Knowing that it would be best if he moved the battle to a more open area he began to swim down the corridor. Moments later, Namor exited the room they had been fighting in earlier and tried to swim after Aquaman but was unable to catch up to him, however he had an idea about how he could close the distance between himself and his opponent.
Namor (thoughts): Dammit, I’m not going to be able to catch up to him at this rate. Maybe if I launch some energy blasts at different angles and points of the corridor walls the debris will then him slow down?
The Sub-Mariner then started firing energy blasts at certain points of the corridor wall, the blasts causing fairly large explosions upon impact.
BOOM!
BOOM!

BOOM!
Aquaman (thoughts): This imposter is trying to slow me down by causing these explosions, but if I activate my trident’s forcefield his plan will not work
Arthur then activated his trident’s allowing him to swim through the remaining explosions unhindered.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
Aquaman then entered a large dining room that had a grand staircase which led up to ship’s deck. The blonde sea king then used his telepathy to try and pinpoint Namor’s location and turned around, only to sea Namor charging at him again with his trident. Aquaman then moved his trident to block the attack.
CLANG!
As the two trident’s locked, Aquaman and Namor stared aggressively at each other before Namor punched Arthur in the gut causing him to back out of the struggle. Namor then tried to stab the blonde sea king with his trident, but before he could do so Aquaman threw his own trident at a waterlogged support beam slicing it in two and causing the ceiling above them to collapse and furniture from the rooms above to fall into the dining room.
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
Wanting to above getting buried by the rubble, Namor swam towards the grand staircase as fast as could whilst Arthur used the Water Hand to teleport to the location where his trident was lying so that he could pick it up, before teleporting in front of Namor as he was swimming up the stairs.
Aquaman: Going somewhere imposter!
Arthur then uppercutted the Sub-Mariner sending him flying through the ceiling and onto the deck of the ship.
Namor: Aaah!
CRASH!
Namor recovered quickly as Aquaman swum up to the ship’s deck and charged at him, before attacking him with several trident strikes at a rapid pace, as they moved across the deck of the ship. Namor was just about able to block all of Aquaman’s strikes, but he wasn’t sure if he could do this for much longer due to the sheer speed of his opponent’s attacks. He had to think of a way he could distract the blonde sea king.
Namor then backed away from Aquaman, before speaking to him confidently.
Namor: If you’re the true King of Atlantis, let’s see how you like one of your own subjects attacking you!
The Sub-Mariner then used his telepathic abilities to summon a nearby Great White Shark to attack Aquaman, who was forced to activate his trident’s forcefield to defend against the Shark, while using his own telepathy to calm the creature down. Seeing that his opponent was distracted, Namor leapt at the blonde sea king with trident, breaking through his trident’s force-field, stabbing him through his right arm with his own trident and pinning Aquaman against the deck of the ship.
SKINT!
Aquaman: AAAH!
Namor then punch Arthur in the face with an electrically-charged punch before standing over his injured opponent.
Namor: It’s time I put an end to this!
As the Sub-Mariner prepared to knock out his opponent, Aquaman responded to him.
Aquaman: I’m.not.finished.yet!
The blonde sea king then used his telepathy to summon a big Sperm Whale to knock over one of the Titanic’s rusty chimneys onto Namor. As Namor tried to stop the chimney from falling on him, Arthur wrenched the trident from out of his arm and swam up towards the surface with his own trident in his hand.
Aquaman: I think I may have put a stop to this rebellious Atlantean
Arthur’s suspicions turned out to be wrong though as Namor obliterated the chimney with a single punch before swimming up towards Aquaman with his trident in hand. The two began to exchange several physical and trident strikes again as they swam up towards the ocean surface.
The surface of the Atlantic Ocean
The two sea kings burst through the water as they continued to exchange physical blows at a rapid pace. While the shear strength of Namor’s punches was beginning to overwhelm Arthur he used the Water Hand to phase through the Sub-Mariner’s chest and stun him.
Namor: Aah!
Seeing that his opponent was now stunned, Aquaman took this opportunity to send Namor flying back across the ocean’s surface with a punch to the abdomen. When he recovered Namor stared confidently at Arthur before creating a massive wave with his trident and sending it hurtling towards the blonde sea king.
Namor: Face the power of the true King of the Seas!
Aquaman responded by creating a massive wave with his own trident with the two waves smashing into each other with considerable force.
CRASH!
The two then continued to send huge waves towards each other with the waves simply smashing into each other each time.
CRASH!
CRASH!
CRASH!
Knowing that he wasn’t going to be able to gain an advantage over his opponent by continuously chucking waves at him, Namor used his trident to create a massive whirlpool around himself which began ripping rocks, sand and seaweed from the seabed as it moved towards the blonde sea king. Aquaman then created a gigantic tsunami with his trident and sent it careening towards Namor’s whirlpool, the two bodies of water colliding but being evenly matched.
Namor: Despite all your pride, Aquaman your power has been unable to surpass my own. Now submit before your king!
Aquaman ignored this remark before using the powers of his own trident to make Namor’s trident disappear. A shocked expression formed on the Sub-Mariner’s face as Neptune’s trident disintegrated in his grasp as his whirlpool began to disappear.
Namor: What?! How can this be?!!
Aquaman: I TOLD YOU NOT TO UNDERESTIMATE ME!
CRASH!
Arthur then used the Water Hand to increase the power of the tsunami sending the tsunami crashing on top of Namor sending the Sub-Mariner back hundreds of kilometers through the Atlantic Ocean before he was washed up by a gigantic wave on the coast of Florida. The Sub-Mariner coughed up blood as he wearily got to his feet. He then saw Aquaman swimming towards him at rapid speeds.
Namor (thoughts): As much as I hate to admit it, this Atlantian’s power is far more impressive than I previously thought, I’m going to have to move the fight to another location, so I can summon the help of some of my stronger underwater allies
Namor then took off into the air using his wings and began flying across the North American continent. Aquaman saw this and used his telepathy to quickly read the Sub-Mariner’s mind with considerable difficulty to find out where he was heading. After finding out that Namor was heading to the Pacific Ocean, Aquaman used the Water Hand to teleport there.
Arthur was now on the surface of the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California. After about a minute of waiting, he saw Namor flying in the sky and decided to catch him off-guard by firing a lightning bolt at him from his trident. While the Sub-Mariner was unable to completely dodge the bolt, he was able to partially block it by placing his hands in front of his face however he was still knocked out of the sky by it and was sent crashing into the ocean below.
CRASH!
In the Pacific Ocean
Despite having been electrocuted, Namor recovered quickly and was ready to face Aquaman again.
Aquaman: You have lost your trident now, imposter! Yield now and your punishment will not be as harsh!
A confident look appears on Namor’s face as he responds to the blonde sea king.
Namor: I may have not my trident anymore, but I still have the creatures of the sea on my side!
Namor uses his telepathy to summon some Great White Sharks, Swordfish, Killer Whales, Giant Squid and a couple of Sperm Whales and commands them to charge at Aquaman who responds to Namor’s remark.
Aquaman: As do I!
Aquaman then summons some Tiger Sharks, Hammerhead Sharks, Dolphins, Jellyfish and a Blue Whale to fight for him and the two groups of animals begin to fight each other whilst Aquaman and Namor begin to exchange physical blows. After about 3 minutes of fighting, Namor swims away from Aquaman and pulls out the Horn of Proteus and blows into it. Shockwaves begin to come from the bottom of the ocean as Giganto swims towards the surface of the ocean and roars and Namor folds his arms in trumiph.
Namor: You fought well, Atlantean, but you cannot counter Giganto’s might!
Aquaman: You are mistaken
More shockwaves are created as Aquaman summons Topo from the bottom of the ocean and the two underwater beasts size each other up and roar at each other before charging at one another.
The two beasts collide with each other with considerable force before Topo goes on the attack swiping at Giganto with his spiked tentacles and giving the giant whale monster deep wounds on his side. Giganto roars in pain before ramming into Topo, biting down on two of his tentacles and ripping them with considerable force causing blood to leak out of Topo who responded by slashing Giganto’s left eye with one of his remaining tentacles. The giant whale monster then roared again, before backing away slightly.
Meanwhile, Namor who had just finished knocking out a couple of Dolphins and Tiger Sharks heard the roars of Giganto, and he knew that he had to do something to change the tide of battle. He saw that his opponent had activated his trident’s forcefield, creating a protective circular barrier around himself which he was using to fend off some Swordfish and without a moment’s hesitation, he charged at Arthur placed his hands against the forcefield and began to push Aquaman’s circular ball of forcefield towards Giganto’s mouth.
Namor: Farewell, Aquaman!
Namor then pushed the ball of forcefield into Giganto’s mouth before commanding the giant whale monster to shut his mouth.
Namor chuckled to himself.
Namor: Now to get back to Atlantis
As the Sub-Mariner was about to swim away, he heard Giganto thrash about behind him and then spit large amounts of blood out of his mouth. Moments later a torrent of blood burst out of Giganto’s blowhole along with Aquaman who backflipped through the water before landing on the top of Giganto’s head and plunging his trident into it.
SKINT!
The giant whale monster roared in pain before rocketing towards the seabed with considerable force causing huge heaps of sand to fly everywhere upon impact.
CRASH!
Whilst he was incredibly injured, Giganto was not dead yet and tried to crush the blonde sea king in his jaws, but Aquaman stopped him with his telepathy before devolving Giganto into a normal whale and then into a harmless eel-like creature, which collapsed on the ground, lifeless.
Aquaman turned to face Namor, as Topo and the other sea creatures began to surround the Sub-Mariner.
Aquaman: It’s over imposter! Kneel before the true King of Atlantis!
An angered expression appeared on Namor’s face which then turned to a concentrated one as orange flames began to appear Namor. He had now tapped into the Phoenix Force!
Aquaman: What is this sorcery?!
Namor: What you’re seeing now is the power of the Phoenix Force, I didn’t think I’d need to harness it in this battle, but you have unfortunately proven me otherwise. Let’s finish this!
Namor then charged at Aquaman and began to pummel him with blows, the blonde sea king only barely managing to activate his forcefield to block the Sub-Mariner’s attacks. After about 10 seconds though, Namor’s strength became too much for the forcefield, and he managed to break through it punching and kicking at Arthur several times before knocking him back with a kick to the chest.
Aquaman began to cough up blood as he tried to catch his breath and also comprehend the sheer magnitude of Namor’s power. Namor then spoke to him in a menacing tone of voice.
Namor: Let’s see how you like it if I turn all your sea creatures against you!
The Sub-Mariner then used his telepathy to mind control all the surrounding sea creatures (including the creatures that had previously been loyal to Aquaman) to surround Arthur, before using his matter manipulation and resurrection abilities to revive Giganto and return him to his normal state. He then commanded them to charge at Arthur, who began to rapidly swim away.
Aquaman: Damn, this isn’t good!
The sea creatures soon began to catch up to him and the blonde sea king was suddenly slashed across the back by one of Topo’s spiked tentacles before being rammed in the back by Giganto who knocked him straight into the path of a Great White Shark which bit into his left leg.
CRUNCH!
Aquaman: AAGRH!
A couple of swordfish then dived towards Arthur, embedding their sharp noses into each of Aquaman’s shoulders.
SKINT!
SKINT!
Aquaman: AAAAGRH!
Before he do anything else, Aquaman was suddenly telekinetically lifted up through the water, out of the ocean and then high into the air. He then felt himself begin to fall back down towards the water, before Namor bombarded him with the flames of the Phoenix Force mid-air causing the blonde sea king to scream in pain as his clothes and skin were scorched.
As the barely conscious Aquaman began to fall back towards the ocean, Namor formed another trident using his matter manipulation and imbued it with the flames of the Phoenix Force before preparing to launch it at Aquaman.
Namor: I will now rid myself of your presence, rebellious Atlantean!
Namor then threw his trident at Aquaman’s chest, but Arthur managed to use the Water Hand to teleport away moments before the trident struck him. Aquaman was now underwater again and used the Water Hand to create a portal to a mysterious dimension before swimming through the portal.
Up in the sky, Namor was wondering where the blonde sea king had got to and went back into the ocean to try and find his opponent.
Namor: Where the hell could that peasant have fled to?!
The Sub-Mariner didn’t have to wait long to find out, as a portal appeared and Arthur stepped out of it. His wounds completely healed. A surprised expression formed on Namor’s face.
Namor: What! How did your body heal so quickly?!
In frustration Namor tried to lunge at Arthur and stab with him his trident but the blonde sea king merely used the Water Hand to summon a torrent of water to knock Namor’s trident out of his hand before cutting off his connection to the Phoenix Force.
Namor: NO! How did you cut off my power!
Aquaman then punched Aquaman in the gut, causing the Sub-Mariner to clutch at his stomach.
Namor: AAH!
Aquaman: That’s simple. I used the power of the Water Hand to enter the Secret Sea dimension and heal myself of all injuries and then used it to cut off your link to the Phoenix Force. I will now prove to you and once and for all who is the real King of Atlantis!
Aquaman then delivered an uppercut to Namor’s jaw sending flying out of the ocean and up into the sky. Arthur then leaped into the air and slashed Namor twice across the chest with his trident.
SKINT!
SKINT!
The blonde sea king then grabbed the Sub-Mariner by the neck before using the Water Hand to suck all the water from his body, killing him. As Namor’s body fell towards the ocean two Great White Sharks leapt out of the sea from opposite directions, each shark biting into half of the body and then ripping it in two as they went back into the ocean.
Aquaman then landed back in the ocean and befriended Giganto before looking at the two sharks who were beginning to feast on Namor’s body.
Aquaman: At least Atlantis can rest easy, now that you’ve been taken care of!
Aquaman then began to swim back towards Atlantis.
K.O!
Results
Boomstick: Huh, I guess Aquaman doesn’t suck then.
Boomstick is then slapped by Wiz’s robotic arm.
Boomstick: OW! Stop whacking me with your robotic arm already, Wiz!
Wiz ignores him.
Wiz: This matchup was incredibly close due to the fact that Aquaman and Namor boasted a very similar set of powers, but in the end it’s Aquaman who would come out on top.
Boomstick: The two were pretty evenly matched in terms of strength, whilst Aquaman took the speed advantage and Namor took the durability advantage. Their fighting and tactical skills were also pretty much equal as well, but it’s Arthur’s arsenal, telepathic abilities and his opponent’s arrogance which allowed him to gain a significant advantage over Namor.
Wiz: While Namor has used his telepathy to communicate with sealife and Atlanteans, considering that Aquaman has used forcibly read Martian Manhunter’s mind and devolved opponents before using his physic powers, meant that his telepathy was ultimately superior. Also, the fact that he could use his telepathy to predict Namor’s attacks proved very helpful to him in battle.
Boomstick: Also, Namor’s arrogance left him wide open at certain points during the battle allowing the blonde sea king to get the jump on his opponent and significantly injure him multiple times.
Wiz: Aquaman’s trident proved to be extremely useful in the battle as it was easily sharp enough to cause significant damage to Namor and mortally injure Giganto. The trident’s forcefield allowed Arthur to defend himself against the majority of Namor’s attacks and it’s ability to make other objects disappear prevented Namor from properly exploiting Arthur’s vulnerability to piercing weapons with his trident and also prevented the Sub-Mariner from using his water-malnipulation abilities which allowed Aquaman to gain a significant advantage over Namor.
Boomstick: The Water Hand allowed Aquaman to harm Namor in several ways by phasing through his body and damaging his organs or draining away all the water in his body. Also, the fact that Aquaman could just use the hand to access the Secret Sea dimension and heal his body of injuries whenever when he wanted, meant that he could pretty much bounce back from anything Namor threw at him and carry on fighting whilst his opponent would have to wait a lot longer for his injuries to heal.
Wiz: Lastly, Arthur could likely use the Water Hand to cut off Namor’s connection to the Phoenix Force and even if he couldn’t, he could still incapacitate or kill Namor by phasing through him and ripping out his organs or draining his body of water. Overall, while Namor definitely put up a good fight, Aquaman’s superior speed, arsenal and abilities enabled to take down the Sub-Mariner.
Boomstick: Namor ultimately lost to his opponent in a Total Wipeout!
Wiz: The winner is Aquaman.

Aquaman VS Namor is a special episode of RatedM's Death Battle series, featuring Aquaman from DC Comics and Namor from Marvel Comics in a fight underwater!
Interlude
The ocean...the sea is sometimes unpredictably strange that it's honestly kind of weird. But y'know what's weirder?
They spawn superheroes, like with Aquaman, DC's Atlantean king!
And Namor, MARVEL'S Atlantean king.
He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out WHO would win... a DEATH BATTLE!
Aquaman
Arthur Curry was no ordinary child or at least..not in a while. After being birthed by a Atlantean mother who fell in love with a human father, he was a fairly normal child.
Wait, so his dad knocked up a mermaid!?! Lucky bastard...
Actually bastard would be the correct term for Arthur. See, his parents never married, and even if they wanted to, his mother had to leave them to return to Atlantis.
Ah, story of my life but...reversed...
ANYWAY, Arthur later found out that he had aquatic abilities and had also found out that he was the destined king of Atlantis, and so he went on to become the ruler of Atlantis and the superhero...AQUAMAN!
He's got various abilities but his favorite tool is his Trident! Like look at the size of it! It's HUGE! Like my DI-
MOVING ON, he also possesses several abilities like telepathy to communicate with ocean life which-
MAKES THEM BEND TO HIS WILL! MWAHAHAH!
Actually, they respect him and will come to his aid and if he has to, he'll control them himself.
Well he's still got one more trick up his sleeve! A move called the Clear!
Ah yes, the Clear. The Clear allows him to control ocean life and increases their strength. He can also communicate with any animal and can even mind-control humans.
Wait, what?!
But he does have difficulty controlling more intelligent life, like his octopus friend Topo or myself!
Yeah, me too!
Uh huh...sure...
What was that?
Nothing. However for humanoids, he can either cause headaches or even seizures!
WHAT THE FUCK?!
He's also accomplished some incredible feats, such as defeating Wonder Woman, Black Manta and restored his kingdom. He was also able to pierce through BATMAN'S armor which is virtually..well...
EVERYTHING PROOF! Like, the dude can destroy the World's Greatest Detective's armor!
And he was able to take down Superman in a fist-fight in the Injustice timeline where Superman NEVER holds back! He's outraced the FLASH underwater, which is REALLY impressive! He's earned the respect of Martian Manhunter as well!
(points to DCEU Aquaman) He even grew an awesome beard and sweet long hair!
Not only that, Aquaman is also a founding member of the Justice League! Clearly, Atlantis is safe under his rule.
Aquaman (to Flash and Shazam): You can tell Superman he will NOT have Atlantis!
Namor
Even before the X-Men, before Wolverine, there was....Namor, first mutant.
Yeah, but since he's the first mutant, how come no one talks about him?
Eh, other mutants grew much more popular, but, back onto Namor, he was the son of a human parent and a ocean parent. However, despite remaining obscure, Namor is more than a force to be reckoned with. Namor has superhuman strength, speed and much more! His fastest running speed is roughly around 55-60 miles per hour.
He also has the power to fly...for some strange reason...
Yes, Namor CAN fly but his wings are at the bottom of his ankles, so they're like, mythical Greece shoes.
Ah okay. Well, Namor also wields a trident. HMMM, WHY DOES THAT SOUND SO FAMILIAR?!!
Well, he can also absorb and shoot out electricity, making it an extremely useful power to use.
Like his opponent, Namor can even communicate with sea critters and even other Atlanteans!
In fact, it COULD be possible for him to control them. But that's not even his strongest ability. He has something called...The Phoenix Force.
So, he pretty much becomes a Jedi Fire Bird? Sweet.
No, no no. What happens is that Namor's power increases SIGNIFICANTLY as does his speed. It really is useful when Namor is in trouble.
He's accomplished some pretty bad-ass feats! He punched Wolverine out with one punch, was able to hold his own against HERCULES and made Thanos bleed in one punch! Lucky bastard..
He can also shrug off a punch that, according to Spider-Man, would've staggered the Lizard! He can also outrace a TORPEDO which can reach up to speeds up to 230 MILES PER HOUR! Namor is really pushing his speed to it's limit here! But he does have several weaknesses. His abilities aren't all that great on land and his HUGE ego can get him off-guard.
But really, when you gotta guy who can lift up tanks and battleships, should that really matter?
Truly, Namor is one of Marvel's greatest mutants and all Atlanteans will follow his rule!
Namor: Whoever is guilty of such callous disdain for the denizens of the deep shall suffer at the hands of the Sub-Mariner! THIS I SWEAR!

Fight
Aquaman is seen swimming, returning from a meeting with the Justice League when he sees Namor.
Aquaman: Hello fellow Atlantean! Where might you be headed?
Namor looks and smiles at DC's King of Atlantis.
Namor: Returning to my throne back in Atlantis!
Hearing this, Aquaman gets shocked and upset.
Aquaman: That's impossible! I AM the king of Atlantis!
Namor: Impostor! I will show you the meaning of PAIN!
The kings ready their stances and rush toward each other with their tridents.
FIGHT!
The kings' tridents clash, trying to attack. Namor wins the clash, pushing Aquaman and begins to punch him. Aquaman is sent back, but swims and rams into the sub-mariner. Aquaman begins to punch Namor in a flurry. Namor counters and tries to stab Aquaman but luckily for the King of Atlantis, he dodges. Aquaman tries to impale the Prince of Atlantis, but Namor grabs Aquaman and flies to the surface. He begins to punch Aquaman in the face but before he can stab him, Aquaman turns the tides (get it?) on Namor by having the ocean rise and takes both Atlanteans underwater again. Aquaman then communicates with some ocean life to help him in the fight, and surely enough, ocean critters come to his aid. Namor then communicates with some other ocean critters who come to aid HIM. The King and Prince of Atlantis give a signal to their armies, the ocean life fighting against itself. Aquaman and Namor resume their fight, but a shark tries to bite Aquaman. Aquaman then controls the shark into having it attack Namor instead. Namor decides the same trick, and with both of them trying to control the same shark, it's brain explodes, leaving both Aquaman and Namor shocked and surprised.
Aquaman: YOU! How dare you kill one of Atlantis' subjects?!
Namor: ME?! YOU WERE THE ONE TO TURN IT AGAINST ME!
Both yell and charge towards each other. Their tridents clash, but Aquaman proves his might by not only punching Namor, but performs a devastating combo on the Prince of Atlantis. Namor then uses the Horn of Proteus and summons his ally, a Giganto. Aquaman then calls in Topo and the two beasts collide.
Namor: I won't have to worry about this! I am a king!
Aquaman then punches Namor during his self-compliment and starts to pummel him. Namor gets him off himself and begins to slash at Aquaman with his trident. Sharks smell the blood but do not go over.
Namor: WHAT?! WHY?!
Aquaman: My subjects respects me, that is all.
Aquaman then directs the Shark attacks to Namor, who begins to murder the sharks.
Aquaman: TRAITOR! AN ATLANTEAN WOULD NEVER KILL ONE OF HIS OWN!
Namor: I had no choice! Now come and fight!
Meanwhile Topo and Giganto continue their fight. Giganto bites Topo, but Topo wraps his tentacles around the Giganto to try and murder it. They keep fighting, bite for bite, blow for blow.
Aquaman (in his mind): Okay...time to turn the tides in my favor!
Aquaman then activates the Clear, making all the critters in the ocean come to his aid. Namor then has no choice but to attack the sea life that is against him. Before doing so, he activated the Phoenix Force, making his strength and speed increase. While Namor fights the sea life, Aquaman tries to impale him but Namor is able to fight him and the sea life. Aquaman then has the remaining sea critters retreat, and faces off with Namor for a final clash. Then...
SLASH!
Namor's trident impales Aquaman in the leg, making him scream in pain.
Namor: Never should have messed with me, faker.
Aquaman: Why...why you...
Namor lifts his trident but before he impales the King of Atlantis, he feels a pain in his head. It turned out that Aquaman had tried to control him. Namor lets go of his trident as he starts to have a seizure. Aquaman yanks out the trident off his leg, and impales the Sub-Mariner in the head, killing him.
Aquaman: Atlantis is mine...
Aquaman then gets the Gigantro to obey him before passing out. Not because he died, just exhaustion.
KO!
Conclusion
(to the tune of Ocean Man) Ocean Man, that death was really rad, nothing was bad!
I'm sure Namor could have found a way to kill Aquaman, but this just wasn't the case. Namor may have had the advantage in speed, but Aquaman has proven to react quicker, especially when fighting against people like Superman or The Flash!
Yeah, durability and strength were something Aquaman had that Namor lacked. Hell, the Phoenix Force couldn't do much to Aquaman even if he got the chance! I mean, he's strong enough to resist punches from SUPERMAN and make him at least bleed. Sure, Namor had fought people like Thor, but Arthur was just too much!
It also helps that The Clear is part of Aquaman's arsenal, as he could call in Gigantros who's skin are resilient enough to tank explosions!
I guess Namor's chances sank.
The winner is Aquaman.

Boomstick: Aquaman, The King of Atlantis
Wiz: And Namor....The other king of Atlantis.....
Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick!
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their Armor, weapons and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle
Namor
Wiz: In 1915, Ernest Shackleton, sent by Winston Churchill, sought out vibranium in the Antarctic. His ship, the Endurance, was lost. Later, Leonard McKenzie, with the telepath Paul Destine as a passenger, attempted to recover the vibranium.
Boomstick: Princess Fen was sent to investigate explosions near the surface by her father, Emperor Thakorr. McKenzie met, fell in love with, and impregnated Princess Fen with the child who became Namor. However, Atlantean soldiers came to retrieve Fen and attacked McKenzie's crew. Leonard McKenzie was believed dead by Fen following the attack and she returned to Atlantis, pregnant.
Wiz: The child was named "Namor" which means "Avenging Son", Namor spent his boyhood taunting his cousin Dorma, as well playing with his other cousins Namora and Byrrah as well as his friend Meranno. An oil spill in 1936 attracted the attention of Namor, who began a relationship with a young woman named Sandy. Namor grew up distrusting surface dwellers.
Boomstick: Namor was sent to New York after divers were found near Atlantis. However, it was revealed that the divers were Nazis, and Namor joined the Invaders, fighting in World War II alongside men such as Captain America and the android Human Torch (in addition to his solo missions), and later the All-Winners Squad to oppose the Axis. Namor would at times battle, then befriend
Wiz: the democratic societies of the surface; the explanation for this was later discovered to be temporary insanity as a result of too much time spent away from the sea. For the most part, however, the Sub-Mariner set his sights on Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. The Atlanteans became involved with the Axis-created Human Torch duplicates the Firebrand Squadron. One Atlantean, his friend Meranno, became an Axis agent known as the U-Man.
Boomstick: Namor's powers come from his being a unique hybrid of Atlantean Homo mermanus and mutant Homo superior physiologies. Because of his unusual genetic heritage, Namor is unique among both ordinary humans and Atlanteans; he is sometimes referred to as "Marvel's first mutant," because, while the majority of his observed superhuman powers come from the fact that he's a hybrid of Human and Atlantean DNA, his ability to fly can't be explained by either side (Atlanteans are an off-shoot of "baseline" humanity).
Wiz: Namor's body is specially developed for underwater conditions, granting him specialized blood circulation to withstand freezing temperatures and highly developed vision to see clearly even in murky ocean depths. This hybrid physiology means he can survive indefinitely underwater or on land, though he would still need occasional contact with water to survive.
Boomstick: Like all Atlanteans, Namor is superhumanly strong, but his physical strength is greater than that of any member of his superhuman race. The exact level of his strength is dependent upon his physical contact with water and his strength diminishes slowly the longer he is out of contact with it. Out of the water, Namor was able to defeat Luke Cage with ease and use his body as a club to knock out the She-Hulk by striking her by surprise from behind.
Wiz: He was shown as an even match for the Thing in the same issue. Underwater, he battered the Red Hulk and stopped him from getting to the surface until he threw him out. Namor has on occasion even knocked out the Savage Hulk. He was also able to hold his own against the Sentry for a little while, but Emma Frost mentally convinced the Sentry to stop, since Namor couldn't win.
Boomstick: He has been seen several times lifting thousands of tons without effort. Namor has once swam against a temporal storm for a brief period, even pressing on despite getting dehydrated by that act. Furthermore, his physical prowess is so great that he has been referred to as one of the most powerful beings on the planet.
Wiz: Namor can run and move at speeds greater than even the finest human athlete. His speed is greatest, however, while swimming. Whereas most Atlanteans can swim at speeds greater than 60 miles per hour, Namor has shown that he can reach a speed of over 300 knots or 345 mph.
Boomstick: Namor's advanced musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of normal human beings, and most other Atlanteans for that matter. At his peak, Namor can physically exert himself for at least more than 24 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to impair him. Namor's stamina, much like his strength, steadily declines the longer he is out of contact with water and will diminish to the point where he only has slightly greater stamina than the finest human athlete.
Wiz: Namor's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of even the finest human athlete. He can perform acrobatic feats in the air sufficient to enable him to easily evade/dodge most military aircraft.
Boomstick: Namor's reflexes are similarly heightened and are superior to those of the finest human athlete since he can react at impressive levels of super speed-as demonstrated through his catching missiles and throwing them back at their point of origin.
Wiz: The tissues of Namor's body are much harder and more resistant to physical injury than those of normal human beings and most other Atlanteans. Namor can withstand tremendous impact forces, high caliber bullets, falls from orbital heights, exposure to temperature and pressure extremes, blows from powerful superhumans, and powerful energy blasts without sustaining injury.
Boomstick: If he was somehow injured, Namor's body can heal damaged tissue faster and much more extensively than a human or most Atlanteans. Namor's accelerated healing is at its peak while he is immersed in water, but does diminish the longer he is out of contact with water or if he is completely dry.
Wiz: Namor can absorb certain levels of radiation. His potential is unknown, but the full power of the Radioactive Man is enough to rapidly drain him of his strength.
Boomstick: Atlanteans age much slower and live much longer than human beings with the average Atlantean lifespan being about 120 years. Namor, at this time, is considered to be in his physical Prime.
Wiz: Like all Atlanteans, Namor can breathe indefinitely underwater due to having gills located behind his ears. Unlike most Atlanteans, however, Namor can also breathe on land indefinitely as well, without the aid of breathing devices, whereas most Atlanteans can only survive being out of the water for a matter of minutes.
Boomstick: Namor possesses a telepathic rapport with all forms of marine life. He is able to mentally communicate with most forms of marine life and can mentally persuade them to do his bidding. Namor can also mentally communicate with other Atlanteans (giving mental/telepathic orders to all his men) and possibly humans as well, should he develop his power to its fullest, Like some fish, Namor has a limited ability to navigate by sensing faint electrical currents within the water.
Wiz: Namor's enhanced vision enables him to penetrate the ocean's depths and see through murky water.
Boomstick: Namor also possesses vestigial "wings" on both of his ankles, by which he seems to fly at the speed of escape velocity when exerting himself fully. His flight speed at "normal" levels is enough to enable Namor to fly faster than military aircraft.
Wiz: Since the "wings" by themselves could never carry Namor, it has been speculated that he uses the wings for steering and flies in some other manner, perhaps by telekinesis. Namor's ability to lift weights when flying is sufficient to enable him carry a 50-ton anchor with one hand without a discernible loss of speed/momentum.
Namor: In the name of Father Neptune, now does Namor the First, Prince of Atlantis, Emperor of the Deep, Lord of the Seven Seas and Supreme Commander of the undersea legions, duly proclaim for all to witness... the victory is truly mine! Let no man deny that Namor is, and ever shall be, Prince of the Blood!
Aquaman
Wiz: Arthur Curry is Aquaman, an adventurer who is half-human and half-Atlantean. This gives him a variety of powers including superhuman strength, telepathic control over marine life, and the ability to survive both in water and on land. He belongs to the royal family of Atlantis, and normally acts as their King.
Boomstick: His romantic partner is the princess Mera of Xebel. He is a founding member of two superhero teams, the world-famous Justice League and the clandestine Others.
Wiz: Arthur Curry was born the son of the Atlantean queen Atlanna and the Amnesty Bay lighthouse keeper Tom Curry. Atlanna returned to Atlantis, so Tom was forced to raise Arthur alone. As a child Arthur began to show that he had inherited his mother's gifts. Tom turned to Doctor Stephen Shin, a scientist he saved from a storm, so he could better understand Arthur's abilities.
Boomstick: During the time of Arthur's graduation Shin attempted to release his research to the public, so Tom destroyed all of it except a phial of Arthur's blood which he took. Shin paid a treasure hunter known as the Black Manta to retrieve the phial from the Curry household.
Wiz: However there was a struggle and the stress caused Tom to suffer a heart attack, and he died in the hospital soon after. Arthur then tracked Black Manta down and killed his father, believing it to be Manta himself. He then fled civilization until he was brought to Atlantis by his mother's royal adviser Vulko.
Boomstick: He ruled over Atlantis for a while until he fled his role and his brother Orm took the throne. He went on to form The Others, a team made up of outcasts who would search the globe for the Dead King's Atlantean Weapons so they could be save guarded. After retrieving the artifacts and keeping the Trident of Neptune, Aquaman parted ways with the Others. At some point between leaving the Others and joining the Justice League, Arthur met and fell in love with Mera, a Xebelian princess sent to kill him
Wiz: Like most Atlanteans, Arthur Curry is an offshoot homo sapien who is biologically adapted to the deep ocean environment. For most Atlanteans, this means they can breathe underwater, endure the pressures of the deep (among other adaptations), and can only spend a very limited time out of water. However due to either Aquaman's hybrid nature or his royal heritage, he possesses a number of traits others of his mother's side of the species do not; for instance he can spend an elongated time on dry land with little ill effect and is shown to be 20–50 times stronger, faster, tougher and more or less tireless compared to others of his race.
Boomstick: Also akin to other amphibian life is his ability to not only function indefinitely within water but to easily withstand the crushing depths of the ocean deep, as well as the harsh environment of the sea itself. These powers make Arthur among other things a super-Atlantean as well as superhuman.
Wiz: Tough enough to resist small arms fire with minor injury, the teeth of most trench dwellers break upon contact with his body. He survived an RPG blowing in his face and can thrive in the darkest, deepest bowels of the ocean deep suffering no discomfort. He even lived through falling back to Earth after being launched into orbit by Mera, coming back down hard on top of a sea monsters head, without injury.
Boomstick: Arthur has taken and lived through multiple energy blasts in the past, including being flash frozen by the dead king's ice magic. His ultimate resilience was tested when he dipped into an open lava bed beneath the sea and emerged unscathed
Wiz: Aquaman is able to function much longer than any human, without tiring or becoming weak.
Boomstick: Also, Aquaman's senses are several times more acute than human capacity; he once even heard a police siren from several miles away.
Wiz: Arthur is phenomenally fast be it while running or swimming. In the sea he was able to outrace a spy plane owned by The Operative which can travel up to speeds of Mach 5, He also was able to keep up and react to Superman & Wonder Woman, making his reactions and Combat speed as Massively FTL+ Level!
Boomstick: Damn, i didn't know Fish-Man can go so fast...
Wiz: (Sigh), Anyway, Aquaman's super-Atlantean status enables him to lift insurmountable amounts of weight, for instance towing around fishing boats while tidal waves were crashing down upon them
Boomstick: He is capable of knocking the likes of Superman and Wonder Woman several dozen feet away with singular blows, lifting a 160000 ton Sea Liner barehanded, and lifting and throwing a sunken cargo ship.Some of his greatest feats of might include pushing a tectonic plate over the entrance to the trench's lair, the heft of which is roughly 4.0678242e+22 kg. or 44 quintillion metric tons, and matching the legendary Hercules blow for blow.
Wiz: Aquaman can make use of his powerful bodily muscles to launch himself into the air, either jumping on and off land or propelling himself out of open water like a torpedo.
Boomstick: Aquaman is also able to recover from wounds far quicker then any human. It took him a matter of days to recover from his fight with the Shaggy Man.
Wiz: Aquaman is able to manipulate magical power through his trident, being able to create bundles of arcane energy to attack his enemies with. Arthur's arcane power is usually accompanied with a bright golden glow in his eyes. His magical abilities are likely due to his regal inheritance. He has already been able to overthrow the Crown of Thorns using his innate magical power as well as resist the effect of others' spells and enchantments
Boomstick: Aquaman has access to one of the seven hidden forces of reality related to the life-giving powers of the oceans themselves. This gives him access to a great many undisclosed abilities the likes of which he has yet to access on his own. Through the Life Force, Arthur is connected to all living beings as he is to the life giving waters which they spring from. Enabling the established supernatural link to any and all sentient entities throughout the cosmos and back towards earth.
Wiz: So..Boomstick, do you want to tell us something?
Boomstick: YEP! It seems like Fishs are Damn string at all!
Aquaman: I'm sorry, Mera. The way mariners say good-bye is to wish each other fair winds and following seas. My heart, I wish you fair winds and following seas. Always. I will see you again
Pre-Death Battle
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all!
Boomstick: ITS A TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLEEEEEEE!!!!!
Death Battle
LOCATION - ATLANTIS
Arthur Curry, After Defeating His Brother, Orm, Backed to Atlantis, But he saw Someone sitting on the the throne,
Namor: i'm Namor, KING OF ATLANTIS, And you're a FAKER!
Aquaman: I challenge you, to battle for the throne of Atlantis! Prepare the arena, we are going to fight!
(on the ring of Atlantis)
Aquaman and Namor were ready, In the audience were Atlanteans who supported Aquaman, and those who supported Namor, Both hold their Weapons, They were ready for the Battle for Atlantis!
FIGHT!
Aquaman hit first, nailing Namor in the jaw with a hard right hook, as the Sub-Mariner firmly held his ground and took it in, no-selling the hit. Aquaman switched hands and used the left to slam his fist into Namor's stomach, causing the Atlantean to lift off the ground, leaving imprints in the sand from where he once stood. Aquaman then swoops down to strike at Namor, but Namor swings his folk, at Thomas, and Aquaman uses his fork to make a comeback. Forks clinging again, Arthur just yawns while swinging his fork randomly, while Namor sees this, he just walks off. Aquaman still swinging there, realizes Arthur gone, and then sees something move right at him!
Aquaman quickly rolled back onto his feet, as he made a mad-dash toward his weapon. Namor kicked the trident upright and snared it with the prong of his own weapon, flinging it across the beach, as if he was a star quarterback. Instantly, Aquaman pushed off the ground and made a massive leap, soaring over Namor's head and into the air, to catch the trident and spear it back to Namor's chest like a forked javelin. Aquaman surprisingly landed softly onto the sandy beach, feeling the warmth from the ground, before taking another leap to get back to Namor. Namor took the trident to the chest, the weapon only slightly puncturing his chest, as he tore it out with no hesitation. Namor watched Aquaman reach the ground again, as the King of Atlantis snatched away the trident and held it towards Namor.
Namor and Aquaman both slammed their tridents towards one another, the blades interlocked within each fork. The two held each other, staring intensely, as Aquaman thrust first, catching Namor off guard, as he left the clinch and slammed the trident into Namor's chest again, staggering the Atlantean. Namor growled and slammed his foot into Aquaman's stomach, and once more in his throat, causing Aquaman to fall back. The King of Atlantis used his trident to break his fall, and bounce back, punching Namor hard in the cheek. Namor himself was barely staggered from the attack, as he planted a foot on the ground and slugged Aquaman back.
Arthur then goes at Namor with his anchor part of his fork, tying him up, Arthur grabs water from his own energy and fires at Namor , the rest of Atlantis suffers from severe thunderstorms. Arthur then uses the rain to absorb energy and uses a water to fire at Namor, Namor takes some of the blow, Namor then heals himself from the blow and goes after Arthur. Aquamanthen hides in a sewer to think.
Namor surged upwards, loosening Aquaman’s grip on his trident and summoning a massive blast of water. Using one hand to direct the water at Arthur, the other water it’s grip on the fork, Namor summoned his most powerful blast of water he had ever summoned. Namor smiled before thrusting His Fork downwards with tremendous force. Aquaman took notice of this, still in great pain and threw his trident into the air as well. The two weapons met, but one weapon was victorious. The trident pushed through The Fork, snapping it in half and striking directly into Namor's chest. Namor grunted and popped his neck. Arthur smiled at the weakened King of Atlantis.
Arthur grabbed Namor and threw him into the other part of the ring, before the defeated king managed to recover, Arthur grabbed him by the throat, and with a hard blow, he cut off Namor's chest completely.
KO!
Aquaman Threw Namor's body out of the ring, and the crowd of Atlantis cheered to their real king

Boomstick: NOOOOO! Anyway i guess They have now their real king.
Wiz: Yup, My Friend! It wasn't as close as we thought! Aquaman outclassed Namor EVERYWHERE!
Boomstick: Namor's tossed around tanks and battle ships (as has Arthur), but Aquaman has broken a tectonic plate and moved it to seal off the mariana trench, while swimming.
Wiz: Namor has summoned gigantos (dumb name, Aquaman wins automatically on principle) to fight for him, as well as cause tidal waves.
Boomstick: but to do that, he needed the Horn of Proteus
Wiz: which he's lost in the past, and which can be stolen and used by others…leading to one of my all-time favorite memes;
Boomstick: Arthur Curry has summoned, and telepathically controlled Topo, and Orin has caused tidal waves without the use of any artifacts or tools.
Wiz: Orin doesn't have any summoning feats like that because New Earth didn't have that sort of creature, but he has used his telepathy to dominate enemies far more intimidating than a giganto, and in general Aquaman has consistently defeated enemies much stronger than Namor's
Boomstick: their weapons are much more interesting to compare…
Wiz: Namor's Trident of Neptune
Boomstick: VS. Aquaman's Trident of Poseidon
Wiz: the Trident of Neptune can emit energy blasts, manipulate water, summon storms, and transform objects and sometimes individuals. Namor's used it to block a blow from Mjolnir. (to be fair, it may have more capabilities…these are the ones i'm aware of)
Boomstick: the Trident of Poseidon can emit lightening blasts, manipulate water, conjure mystical ice, summon storms, shield the user, and allow Aquaman to teleport. and he's used it to destroy a planet, and kill gods.
Wiz: as far as we know, Namor's trident doesn't have feats on par with Aquaman's either, but in terms of what powers they grant, they seem to be a perfect match for one another…not surprising, since Aquaman is a Sub-Mariner ripoff…
Boomstick: in the end, considering Aquaman has completely dominated gods over and over, has strength feats matching The Hulk's, can telepathically decimate, or control anything evolved from sea life, and wields enough magick to destroy planets (and is referred to as The Ravager of Worlds)…seems like Namor is not the king of Atlantis at all!
Wiz: The Winner is Aquaman.
