Marvel vs DC. Two villains of great power and rage come face to face in a Death Battle! Will Annihilus's cosmic power finish Atrocitus? Or will Atrocitus's rage get the better of Annihilus.

(*Cues: Invader - Jim Johnston*) Wiz: Aliens. Some just want to fraternize and make peace with other species.
Boomstick: And some, well, you know what I'm gonna say. Typical evil type. They just wanna conquer and rule it all!
Wiz: Like Annihilus, the Living Dead that walks.
Boomstick: And Atrocitus, founder of the Red Lantern Corps. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And its our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle!
Annihilus[]
(*Cues: Annihilus Theme*)
Wiz: Long ago on Barren planets, the Tyannans seeded living spores and while doing that, one of their ships crash landed on a volcanic planet named Arthros.
Boomstick: A planet named what?
Wiz: Before dying, the crew released the spores and one of them grew upto be an insectoid creature.
Boomstick: And because of a mutation, that creature became a nerd just like you, Wiz.
Wiz: It became a highly intelligent creature, not a nerd!
Boomstick: Sure not.

Boomstick: Annihilus only feared one thing: Death! So it used its cosmic powers to extend its lifespan and did everything it needed to stay alive.
Wiz: Annihilus is strong enough to rival the likes of Thanos and Adam Warlock. Which is why the Nova Corps stated it as an Universal threat and a Category one criminal.

Boomstick: Annihilus has Superhuman Strength, Speed, Stamina, Durability, Agility, Reflexes and the power of flight.
Wiz: It can lift upto 50 tons and its exoskeleton is strong enough to survive high caliber bullets, extreme temperatures and pressure upto 1,500 lbs per square inch and as well as energy blasts. It can fly upto 150 mph in Earth's atmosphere and can fly even faster in space, achieving nearly 18,000 mph.
Boomstick: As I said before that it took precautions to avoid dying, one of its precautions were continuous rebirth. You heard me. It can come back even after death.

Wiz: Annihilus can generate megaton blasts and create fear inside others. Almost all of its powers come from the Cosmic control rod which is a very unique and useful weapon. Annihilus can use it to increase its own powers, manipulate matter, travel interdimensionally, control other cosmic beings and also use telekinesis and telepathy as well.
Boomstick: Annihilus is a pretty good fighter and that's something which it doesn't get from its Cosmic rod.
Feats
- Physically stronger than the Thing, who is strong enough to match the Hulk
- Out-raced Mjolnir, which is fast enough to fly from Earth to the edge of the universe and back in 60 seconds
- No-sells an energy blast from an amped Blaastar, who is able to destroy planets

Wiz: He's also stronger than The Thing and Hulk, Out-raced Mjolnir which is over hundred billion times faster than the speed of light and Overwhelmed the Avengers.
Boomstick: At that time, the Avengers had Miles Morales, Falcon, Lady Thor and Ms. Marvel which is why he was able to do that. Not only that, he nearly knocked out Thor once, Punched and broke Female Drax I mean Inviscible Girl's Force Fields and also survived the Human Torch's Nova Blast!
Wz: Its only one weak spot is its mouth.
Boomstick: But that's not its real weakness.

Wiz: If it gets destroyed, then Annihilus will lose all of its powers, making it completely vulnerable to its opponent.
Boomstick: But still, don't forget that Annihilus is the Lord of the Negative Zone.
Wiz: The Negative Zone is an alien universe with several characteristics that distinguish it from our own. It is made up of anti-matter. Its basically Annihilus's element.
Boomstick: This alien is totally stacked.
Atrocitus[]

Wiz: When Sector 666 of the Green Lanterns were invaded by the Manhunters, everyone on the sector died.
Boomstick: Everyone except five Lanterns and that consisted of Atrocitus.

Wiz: Atrocitus and the other four survivors formed the Five Inversions with Atrocitus being their leader.
Boomstick: They wanted to destroy the Guardians of the Universe and everyone who served them.
Wiz: The Inversions would perform a ritual which would let them see the future and discover the Blackest Night, a prophecy that would end the universe. Later, the Guardians captured and imprisoned them in Ysmault.
Boomstick: What's Yizmolt?
Wiz: Its called Ysmault and its the capital of the Guardians.
Boomstick: Then a guy named Abin Sur tried to find out about the Blackest Night prophecy and freed Atrocitus so he could lead them to Earth which was the birthplace of the prophecy. Man, I wonder why Earth is the only place where such Intergalactic things keep taking place.
Wiz: Atrocitus didn't help them. Instead, he created fear inside Sur then wounded him and escaped to Earth but he started rampaging over there.
Boomstick: After killing a few humans, Atrocitus recited the oath of the Red Lanterns and performed another ritual to get the herald of the prophecy and hence, became the first Red Lantern.

Boomstick: It can also fire Plasma blasts which is a mix of napalm and acid and its strong enough to burn God-like relics! I want something like that.
Wiz: It can also project and construct energy, form a force field, allow the user to fly, generate illusions and do many more things but most of these will only work on other Red Lanterns.
Boomstick: But the more angry the user gets, the more powerful he becomes and can use the ring to hurt anyone as the ring absorbs rage and red energy.
Wiz: It can also make portals out of the user's blood so that he can teleport.

Boomstick: It has a lot of remarkable feats like breaking out of Green Lantern's constructs even before a Red Lantern, overpowered Indigo 1, Saint Walker and Star Sapphire at the same time, Killed one of the Guardians of the Universe, Fighting without his heart, Resisted Martian Manhunter's Telepathy and even killed multiple Black Lanterns. This guy is a racist as well and that's not cool.
Wiz: He even tanked hits from Lobo, fought Manhunter, Apollo and Midnighter at the same time, is the embodiment of rage and many many more feats!
Boomstick: What are the weaknesses?
Wiz: A Red Lantern cannot love as they are full of rage. If any Red Lantern feels love for someone then the Ring will automatically leave it and the user will die without its life support.
Weaknesses
- His blood and heart has been replaced by rage energy emitted by his ring. Without the ring, Atrocitus has no heart and thus will die.
- Blue Lanterns (and blue colors in general) weaken Red Lantern energy. This is because Blue is the color of Hope: which destroys rage.
- Star Sapphires also weaken Red Lantern energy as love is the opposite of hate. Should a Red Lantern feel love for someone then their ring will reject them
- Atrocitus' energy is based on his rage; which fluctuates and is difficult to control.
- His constant rage makes Atrocitus impulsive and chaotic.
- Losing streak against the Green Lanterns.
Boomstick: The user can't feel any emotions either 'cause if they do, then you know what'll happen.
Wiz:Besides the ring, Atrocitus has his own powers as well. Such as Alien physiology. He can use it to summon any aliens he want.
Boomstick: He also has Superhuman, Strength and Durability. He also has claws.
Wiz: He can look into the future and is full of rage!
Boomstick: That's why he's a Red Lantern and also, Atrocitus!
Pre-Death Battle[]
Wiz: Alright, the combatants are set. Let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: Its time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!
Death Battle[]
(Annihilus is invading and destroying Earth with his army. Then suddenly from the sky comes Atrocitus and the Red Lanterns. Annihilus and Atrocitus meet each other.)
Annihilus: Why are you interfering in my invasion?
Atrocitus: I am not interfering, I am here for the 'Blackest Night' prophecy. The end of the universe.
Annihilus: Only one can do that!
Atrocitus: Well, then let's settle it with death!
Annihilus: Yes!
(FIGHT)
(Atrocitus fires a concussive blast but Annihilus dodges it and fires a blast but Atrocitus dodges it as well and fires another blast which hits Annihilus but it doesn't affect him.)
Annihilus: You have to do more than that!
(Annihilus uses his power of matter manipulation to create a sword and Atrocitus does the same by using power of Energy construct. Being the more skilled one, Atrocitus manages to depower Annihilus in the sword fight and stabs Annihilus but once again, nothing happens to him.)
Atrocitus: What are you?
(Annihilus breaks the sword and starts punching Atrocitus and as Atrocitus attempts to strike back, Annihilus uses telekinesis to stop his hand and continue punching him.)
Annihilus: I am stronger, smarter, faster and better than you in every single way!
(Annihilus sends Atrocitus far away using telekinesis and prepares for a megaton blast.)
Annihilus: I.. am.. Annihilus!
(Then it fires a megaton blast at Atrocitus. Atrocitus creates a force field around himself to survive the blast. The blast keeps sending the force field with Atrocitus inside it far away. The force field nearly breaks until the blast stops. Atrocitus takes this time to rest a bit.)
Atrocitus: Must not stop.
(Atrocitus sstarts becoming more angry and full of rage, hence making him powerful. Annihilus lands in front of him.)
Atrocitus: Well, I am Atrocitus and I will be your WRECKONING!!!
(Annihilus immediately uses telekinesis and sends Atrocitus in the sky and over there, he crashes with a plane, causing an explosion in the sky but he protects himself by forming a force field.)
Atrocitus: Not anymore!
(He goes down very fast and punches Annihilus so hard that he goes underground and fires a Rage Plasma blast so that it kills Annihilus. After he finishes the blast, Atrocitus starts flying away thinking that he has killed Annihilus. Then at that exact moment, he hears a sound from behind.)
Atrocitus: What?
(Then he sees Annihilus)
Atrocitus: How?
Annihilus: I teleported. And I am about to do the same thing again.
(Then Annihilus teleports itself and Atrocitus to the Negative Zone.)
Annihilus: This is the Negative Zone! And here, I am God!
(Annihilus uses his Cosmic control rod and increases his powers a lot and becomes way more powerful.)
Atrocitus: Whatever you are, you cannot defeat me!
(Atrocitus starts becoming more angry by each second.)
Annihilus: Are you sure about?
(Both of them fires very strong blasts, causing a VERY, BIG EXPLOSION! But Annihilus uses his matter manipulation and instantly repairs everything.)
Atrocitus: ENOUGH!!!
Annihilus: Fine!
(Then Annihilus catches Atrocitus off-guard and fires another megaton blast but Atrocitus manages to form a very strong force field just in time. After the blast ends, Annihilus sees Atrocitus lying down, injured.)
Annihilus: I shall finish this where we started.
(Then he teleports them back to earth. Atrocitus gets up.)
Annihilus: Heroic, but hopeless!
(Atrocitus starts reciting the Red Lantern's oath.)
Atrocitus: With blood and rage of crimson red, Ripped from a corpse so freshly dead, Together with our hellish hate,
(Annihilus prepares to blast.)
Atrocitus: We'll burn every thing that is there fate!
(Annihilus once again lights up with rage!)
Annihilus: What do you mean by-
(Atrocitus then fires a blast at the Cosmic control rod at Annihilus's neck, destroying it.)
Annihilus: NO!
Atrocitus: You should have killed me when you had the chance!
(Atrocitus lights up with rage and creates a Blood Portal behind Annihilus and punches it and sends it out through the portal into outer space. Then he exits using the portal too and fires another plasma blast at Annihilus and he keeps firing it until it kills off Annihilus. A few moments later, the blast kills off Annihilus.)
Atrocitus: Finally!
(Just then, Annihilus comes back at the same place he died.)
Atrocitus: What!? But HOW! HOW!?
Annihilus: There's no way you can kill me. I am the living death that walks! But I can't kill you anymore.
Atrocitus: I will finish you off, no matter what!
Annihilus: You can't!
(Atrocitus fires at Annihilus again and dies. But it comes back and he fires again. He keeps firing and Annihilus keeps coming back and then he ultimately gets tired off it and summons the other Red Lanterns who takes Annihilus along with them.)
Atrocitus: This creature can come back even after death! So we will take it with us and torture it for eternity! And when we will punish you, you will wish you were dead completely!
Annihilus: Whatever you do, you will never suceed in killing me once and for all! I will live for all eternity and laugh while you fools will try to punish and kill me and fail every single time!
K...O?

Boomstick: Really? The fight was going awesome and that just had to happen, didn't it?
Wiz: There was no other way and that's why that had to happen
Boomstick: Even without its Cosmic rod, he can take continuous rebirth which is why Atrocitus couldn't exactly finish off Annihilus.
Wiz: And Atrocitus's Red Ring can only be taken away/destroyed by a Blue Lantern which is why Annihilus couldn't kill him.
Boomstick: But what about the Negative Zone? Couldn't Annihilus finish Atrocitus over there?
Wiz: Not really. It was Annihilus's element, but that doesn't mean Annihilus grows stronger there and Atrocitus weaker. Both of them would be the same.
Boomstick: I hate to say this but it's a tie.
Wiz: This battle is a draw.
