History[]

Annihilus is the ruler of the other-dimensional realm known as the Negative Zone. He was from a spore released onto the surface of the planet Arthros by a Tyannan ship crash. Born with a higher intelligence than his kin, Annihilus plundered the ship for technology and found the Cosmic Control Rod. This granted him superhuman abilities, as well as an extended lifespan. Fearing his own death, Annihilus began a warpath to destroy all other life than his own species, considering them a threat to his existence.
