The Owl House vs Amphibia! What will happen when these dimension traveling girls from Disney shows collide?
Prelude[]
Wiz:One of the most common types of stories is the fish out of water, characters being in places completely unfamiliar to them.
Boomstick:These two teenage girls from Disney shows may have felt out of place in other realms at first, but eventually they managed to find a whole other family and helped save these worlds from total destruction.
Wiz:Luz Noceda, the human witch of the boiling isles.
Boomstick:And Anne Boonchuy, the saviour of amphibia. He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick
Wiz:And it's our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win... a death battle.

Wiz:Anne Boonchuy was once a pretty normal girl. Just looking at her, you wouldn't think she was anyone special, and at first you'd be right
Boomstick:But all of that changed on her 13th birthday. Her friends, Sasha and Marcy, decided to get her a frog themed music box for her birthday because of her love of frogs.
Wiz:Little did she know this music box would bring her and her friends to an entire other dimension populated by frogs!
Boomstick:Not only that, but they were all brought to completely different places in this dimension, so it'd take a while before they could meet again
Wiz:Anne in particular ended up in the frog town of Wartwood. Anne may have an pretty standard girl in our world, but in the frog world she was treated as some never before seen creature, which led to her feeling like a massive outsider.
Boomstick: However she eventually found a family willing to accept her, the Planters. Consisting of two frog children named Spring and Polly, and their grandfather Hopediah, or Hop Pop for short, and they went on some pretty wild adventures with Anne
Wiz: The world of Amphibia is an unusual one.
Boomstick: That's an understatement. It's filled with giant bugs the size of buildings! It Anne was going to survive in this world, she was going to need some good tools.
Wiz: And thankfully, she had just that.

Wiz:Anne's most used weapon is her trusty tennis racket
Boomstick:Really? A tennis racket? What good is that going to do in a fight?
Wiz:While it can send monsters several times her size flying, and can used to deflect projectiles
Boomstick:That's cool I guess, but does she have anything better then a tennis racket?
Wiz:Well, Throughout her time on amphibia, she has found several miscellaneous weapons from her environment. One time on Halloween, she found a bug she could use a flamethrower.
Boomstick:She also has a bath bomb-
Wiz:Wait. You made fun of her using a tennis racket as a weapon, but now you're hyping up the fact she has a bath bomb?
Boomstick:Wait until you see what this thing can do. It created an explosion of soap that dwarfed the surrounding trees!
Wiz:And speaking of seemingly unimpressive weapons being useful, she has a toy lightsaber. In most hands this would be pretty useless, but Anne's used it to fight off several trained FBI agents! Anne herself is also trained in Muay Thai so even if she's disarmed she can still put up a fight
Boomstick:But that lightsaber doesn't compare to her actual sword. See, Anne once met up with a newt named Tritonio, who trained Anne on how to fight
Wiz:This was actually part of a plan to trick her into robbing a train for him, but she still got a cool sword out of it. One that would become very useful once she finally met up with one of her human friends, Sasha Waybright
Boomstick:The good news was that Anne was meeting up with her friend again. The bad news is that friend was so desperate to go home she was working with a toad dictator who wanted to murder Anne's frog friends
Wiz:This lead to them having a sword duel, which Anne eventually won
Boomstick:Which is quite impressive considering how strong Sasha is. Even without her sword, she could fight off bird monsters the size of a tower, and with her sword she could cut through a giant robot in enhanced gravity!
Wiz:And it's not like Anne herself is lacking in feats. She can survive a laboratory exploding on her, dodge arrows and missiles, survive an electrical explosion from Polly, and can fight against grobots
Boomstick:And these are the same robots who, in large numbers helped push back the moon!
Wiz:Well, them holding back the weight of the moon is likely an outlier, as it took stronger versions of the girls to do that, while the grobots are weaker than those 3 in base. However we can still look at the amount of fire they generated. By comparing the fire to the size of the moon and dividing by the amount of robots there, they must have been generating over 112 billion tons of tnt, enough to destroy a large island!
Bookstick:That's like if the strongest nuke on earth exploded more than 1900 times!
Wiz:Not only that, them flying into space that quickly requires speed over 193 times the speed of sound.
Boomstick:Even if Sasha had ended up betraying her, it also reminded Anne how much she wanted to go back home.
Wiz:In an attempt to find out how the music box that sent her there worked, she went to town of Newtopia
Boomstick:Is it called that because it's a new utopia?
Wiz:No, it's called that because it's a utopia where newts lived
Boomstick:Oh.
Wiz:There she met up with her other friend, Marcy Wu. Luckily for her, Marcy Wu had made friends with the king of Newtopia, King Andrias, and he knew how they could get back
Boomstick: You see, the music box actually contained three "calamity gems" which can teleport people to alternate dimensions!
Wiz:However, after the first teleportation, the gems were drained of their power. In order to recharge them Anne, Marcy, and the frogs had to seek out three temples across amphibia, where they would undergo various challenges, until they eventually had all three gems powered up.
Boomstick:So, all the three girls- oh yeah Sasha and Anne made up, anyways all the girls had to do was use the magic gems to go back home right? Wait why does this show still have an entire season left
Wiz:Soo it turns out Anne's friend had betrayed her... again. Remember earlier, when we said the got accidentally warped to amphibia? Yeah it turns out Marcy did that on purpose. Oh and also King Andrias was evil
Bookstick:Which I totally called by the way
Wiz:He reveals that his plan all along was to steal the calamity box and use it to invade the earth. Upon hearing about this, Anne and her friends immediately tried to stop him, which resulted in... this happening

Wiz:It turned out the three gems where actually all linked to the three girls. This allowed Anne to draw power from one of them to achieve a stronger form. In this form she grew strong to defeat Andrias while he was piloting a giant robot, which should obviously be above his grobots. Hell, she was even able to robot into space!
Boomstick:She should also be faster then the core's helmet which flew into space at 21.5% the speed of light
Popup:This form doesn't have a canon name but I'm calling it calamity Anne because that makes more sense and is cooler
Boomstic:She can fly, make shockwaves, shoot blasts of energy, and use telekinesis.
Wiz:This was all proven useful when she was warped back to her world, which was eventually invaded by King Andrias.
Bookstick:King Andrias brought a powerful mech, but Anne's calamity powers won out in the end. However, there was still one more threat, the core.
Wiz:To make a long story short, the core was a hivemind of King Andrias's ancestors. It was so desperate to destroy Amphibia, that it merged with the moon itself and tried to crash into it.
Boomstick:In order to deal with this, Anne and her friends had to use all 3 gems in tandem.
Wiz:The way the gems worked is that their power increased when used in tandem with each other, so having all three of them used at the same time let Anne use the full power of her calamity form
Boomstick:With this she became way more powerful. Her energy powers now let her create objects out of energy, like a giant tennis racket that split a ball into a bunch of energy cats.
Wiz:The combined power of the 3 girls in this state alongside a bunch of frobots could hold back the moon from hitting earth. By measuring the speed the moon was moving, each girl must have been outputting 877 zettatons of tnt
Boomstick:But even this is not her full power. By calling on the power of all three gems, she can enter a state known as white Anne, who has an ability known as the secret spell
Wiz:This secret spell shoots a beam of energy powerful enough to destroy the moon. Based on the speed the debris from the moon moved at, she must have been outputting enough energy to destroy a large planet!
Boomstick:Only problem is it kinda kills her
Wiz:In the end Anne made the choice to sacrifice herself to stop the core. Everyone thought this would be the end of her life, but then she awakened in a strange dimension
Boomstick:There she met up with God, who is apparently a talking cat
Wiz:Well no, that's just the form it takes to prevent Anne from going insane looking at it
Boomstick:Oh that makes more sense. Although given the dogs we talked about last year, I wouldn't be too surprised
Wiz:Actually that was the year before last year
Boomstick:Wait wha-oh yeah this is being written after midnight January 1
Wiz:Anyway this god gave her the opportunity to become a god herself.
Boomstick:But being a 13 year old kid and all, Anne was definitely not fit for that job, so the cat god thing decided to bring her back to life!
Wiz:There was just one problem left
Boomstick:Yeah, the secret spell was so powerful, it not only killed Anne, but it reduced the calamity gems to mere fragments. The three girls where to still able to use these fragments to go back home, but it'd be a one way trip, they'd never be able to go back to Amphibia and Anne would never be able to see Sprigg,Hop Pop, or Polly ever again
Wiz:Anne may have felt like an outsider when she first entered this world, but these 3 let her feel like she had a place in Amphibia. In the few months she was there, Anne had gone from a complete outsider feared by it's residents, to a beloved hero who saved this world from destruction. But in the end, she eventually had to leave, permanently. Facing change in your life can be hard, but sometimes you have to accept it
Boomstick:As an adult, she eventually became a marine biologist, letting her get to study marine wildlife- like frogs. She even named one of them Sprigg after her old friend
Wiz:Because even if she can't go back to Amphibia, the memories she had there will stay with her for the rest of her life. Maybe they are some things you have to let go of in life, but you’d be surprised what makes it's way back

Boomstick:Her overly energetic demeanor caused her to get thrown in detention...a lot.
Wiz:It got to the point where her mother decided to send her to a reality check summer camp, to teach Luz how to live in society better
Boomstick:But on her way, she accidentally discovered the portal to another realm, the boiling isles
Wiz:This realm was made out of the body of a dead titan, and named that after its boiling hot rain. It was populated by many kinds of magical beings, like witches
Boomstick:And upon entering the boiling isles Luz met up with one of these witches, Eda the owl lady
Wiz:She decided to stay with Eda, and become a witch just like her.
Boomstick:Only problem with that was that she's a human
Wiz:The reason the witch of the boiling isles could use magic was because they all possessed an organ known as a vial sack, which obviously an average human wouldn't have
Boomstick:But Luz is a smart kid, and she eventually found a way to use magic herself, glyphs.

Wiz:Luz was able to observe patterns in the nature of the boiling isles. She was then able to draw glyphs on sheets on paper to replicate these patterns.
Boomstick:And with help from Eda, she was able to learn plenty of fancy spells
Wiz:Their are 4 magic elements in the boiling isles
Boomstick:Oh I know these ones! Water, fire, air, and dirt!
Wiz:No, Boomstick, they're fire, ice, plant, and light.
Boomstick:These do exactly what you think they would. She can shoot fireballs, create structures made of ice, tangle her enemies in vine, and shoot out balls of light
Popup:Light magic, on top of attacking with light, can also heal Luz
Wiz:But this is far from the extent of Luz's magical prowess. She's gained to combine glyphs together to get a variety of other effects
Boomstick:She can control mist, water, and wind, turn invisible as long as she can hold her breath, hover safely above the ground to prevent fall damage and summon giant monster arms
Wiz:She even has petrification glyphs, although those can only work on things directly above the glyph.
Boomstick:She also has teleportation glyphs, but those take a really long time to make, which probably isn't very practical in the heat of a battle.
Wiz: Finally, Luz has her magic broomstick, her Palismen known as Stringbean. A palisman is essentially a magic being who is bound to their user. As such, they can be summoned to them at any time, and fight by their users command
Boomstick: Stringbean can shapeshift, which is how she goes from being a snake to a broomstick Luz can fly on. Hell, stringbean can even become other animals!
Wiz:Palismen also work as conduits that help channel the users magic, and Stringbean herself can shoot lasers
Boomstick:At with this magic Luz can do some pretty crazy things
Wiz:She make huge ice walls easily, compete against witches who can dodge lightning spells, and is stronger than King
Boomstick:Wait, that tiny dog thing? How is he impressive?
Wiz:He may seem like a tiny pet, but he was also able to roar loud enough to shatter the fingers of an enormous titan.
Boomstick:And these are the same fingers that can move entire clouds!
Wiz:By measuring the size of the clouds and the speed they were moved at, that one finger must have been outputting 969 million tons of tnt, enough to destroy a mountain.
Popup:Luz and Amity once screamed hard enough across the entirety of the town of bonesburough, as well as the titans arm.However, given this feat is an obvious gag, and would put Luz screaming several times higher than anything else she's done in base, it's best not to use this feat
Boomstick: Eventually Luz became so good at magic she got enrolled in Hexside, a school for witches. Here she met quite a few friends, like Gus Porter, Willow Park, and Amity Blight, who she would eventually fall in love with.
Wiz:However, due to being connected to Eda, someone who was infamous in the boiling isles, she found herself getting in trouble a lot.See, the boiling isles was ruled over by the oppressive Emperor Below who wanted to force everyone into conformity, so he made it so everyone at Hexside could only choose one covent of magic to excel at.
Boomstick:But Eda decided to study with multiple covents at once, and was thus marked as a wanted criminal by Belos.
Wiz: Eventually Belos attempted to kill Eda by petrifying her.
Boomstick:Luz was clearly outmatched by his magical power, but managed the destroy the portal to the human realm to prevent him from attacking there
Wiz: Eventually, Luz did some investigating and discovered that Belos was actually a human like her, named Phillip Whittebane, which is why he too needed to use glyphs
Boomstick:Phillip hated witches, and his final plan was to kill all of them with a draining spell
Wiz:This spell was granted to him by the collector, a mysterious child like entity with power far surpassing even Belos himself. Luz was able to defeat Belos, but the collector has been released on the world and posed another threat to the boiling isles
Boomstick:Because the collector was a child who didn't understand the weight of his actions, he turned the entirety of the boiling isles into his play thing!
Wiz:King helped Luz escape the demon realm and go back to her own, but Luz soon realized she needed to come back
Boomstick:She had grown so attached to the people of the demon realm, she would have felt bad if she didn't do anything to protect them. So she found a way to go back, and talked to the collector
Wiz:Despite the horrible things he had done, the collector was still just a kid who wanted to fit in, and Luz was able to talk him out of this.
Boomstick:But Belos had one last trick up his sleeves. He had merged with the corpse of the titan itself.
Wiz:Belos was about to kill the collector when Luz stepped in to defend him. But in the process, Luz died, sacrificing her life to save the collector
Boomstick:But then she reawakend in this realm with that titan guy-it's complicated, I'll let Wiz explain it
Wiz:Upon death, Luz was sent into a realm known as the space in between, which as the name implies is between the human world and the demon realm. Here lied the Papa Titan, the very titan the boiling isles exist on.
Boomstick:He was aware of what Belos was doing and knew he needed to be stopped. So he gave Anne the very last of his life, which turned her into Titan Anne

Boomstick:This form gave Anne crazy amounts of power! She could cast any of her spells whenever she wants without using glyphs, naturally fly and teleport, make forcefields, unleash a super scream, and even manipulate nature itself. Like when she created vegetation across the entire boiling isles
Wiz:The power this form grants her is massive. The collector has directly stated that titans are more powerful than anybody, including himself.
Boomstick:And keep in mind, this is the same guy who slid the moon across the sky with one finger!
Wiz:By measuring the speed the moon moved at, he must have outputted enough energy to destroy a large planet.Luz also sent a wave of magic that expanded in tandem with the light from one of her light glyphs. By comparing there speed, her magic must have been moving at over 86% the speed of light.
Boomstick:Sure, she can only stay in this form for a few minutes, but that was all she needed to kick Belos's ass once and for all
Wiz:Throughout her adventures on the boiling isles, Luz realized something. Back in her world she always felt like an outsider due to her weird behavior. But in this world, she was able to meet up with people who just like her, who where also shunned by society due to not confirming. She saw that she didn't have to confirm to what others thought was normal. She had found a group of people who had accepted her for who she is, she had found the belonging she was seeking for so long. She may be considered unusual but that's fine, and she's never going to let anyone stop her from being who she is.

Luz was walking around in the boiling isles. Suddenly, a portal opens up and another human comes out of it
Luz:Oh...Hey? Another human?
Anne:Oh where did the box take now-oh hi, my name's Anne Boonchuy! Uhh, where am I?
Luz:This is the boiling isles. A land of witches and magic!
Anne:Wait, there are witches in this world? That's really cool! Reminds me of those board games Marcy likes
Luz:Where did you come from, Anne?
Anne:Well, I used to live in the normal world, but this magic box brought me to this frog world called Amphibia
Luz:Wait, that box can take you to different worlds? Well, it just so happens I need exactly that right now, so if I could just borrow it for a second
Anne:Sorry, but I can't let you have it. This thing is super powerful, and I don't know you! I have no idea what you would do if you got your hands on it
Luz:But... I need that box
Anne:Well, I ain't giving this box up, so if you want it, you'll have to take it from me
Fight!
Anne starts by drawing her sword and jumping at Luz. Luz proceeds to jump backwards and casts a plant glyph creating a vine blocking her. However, Anne runs up and cuts through the vine, striking Luz. Luz proceeds to launch a barrage of fireballs at Anne, who pulls out her tennis racket and deflects them
Luz:Deflecting attacks with a tennis racket? Gotta say, that's a pretty interesting technique.
Anne switches back to her sword and runs forward at Luz, who creates an ice spike that knocks her back. She then unleashed a light glyph that blinds Anne. This temporarily stuns her, and gives Luz enough time to launch a barrage of fireballs at Anne, causing her a lot of pain.
Anne:Your powers are pretty cool, but I'm not going down that easily!
She gets back up and lunges right towards Luz, who summons a plant to block her. She then summons vines that entangle Anne's legs, and pull her to the ground. Anne has to put effort into slicing though the vines and escaping, but by the time she does that, Luz was already a good distance away from her. She then starts shooting fireballs again, but Anne ducks and weaves away from all of them. Luz uses her monster arm glyph. The giant arm created hits Anne, which knocks her back, and hurts her quite a bit. However, she retaliates by leaping over the arm and slicing it in two.
Luz then creates a bunch of ice walls surrounding her. Anne counters by pulling out a fire breathing bug. She fires it at Luz, slowly melting the ice walls, but Luz uses summons a glyph to make a water fountain, putting the fire out. She then uses a wind glyph, which made a vortex. Anne stabs her sword into the ground in an attempt to not get pulled in. Luz responds by summoning vines that surround Anne's hand, which combined with the vortex rips her sword away from her. Luz dispels the vortex and uses an ice spell to freeze her sword in a block.
Anne is at first scared of losing her main weapon. However she then remembers her toy lightsaber. She rushes towards Luz, who is caught off guard by Anne's new weapon, allowing Anne to get a barrage of hits on her. Anne has Luz at bladepoint and they both start talking
Luz:Please Anne, I need that box! I promise I won't use for anything evil-
Anne:I've had both of my closest friends betray me. How am I supposed to trust something I know nothing about, with a box I need to get home?
Luz:But-
Anne:Look, if you just stop trying to get that box right now, we can stop fighting and I'll be able to get back home. Because if we keep fighting, it's not looking good for you
Luz hears Anne say the word looking, and remembers something that lets her form a plan. She proceeds to use an invisibility glyph so that Anne can't see her, which confuses her. Luz then rolls away from the lightsaber before running a good distance away while holding her breath. She then casts a mist spell. Her invisibility wears off, but the mist still makes it so Anne can't see her. She starts running around spamming fireballs. Anne manages to dodge all of them but is still confused on how to hit Luz
Anne:Where is she? ...Wait! I think I know how to find her!
Anne pulls out her bath bomb and drops it on the ground, creating a massive explosion of soap. This explosion completely disperses the mist and hits Luz.
Anne:Well played! That little trick you pulled almost got me.
Luz (internal monologue):She's really strong...but she's mainly a melee fighter and definitely can't fly...
Luz jumps on Stringbean and starts flying into the sky, before using said Palisman to shoot a Lazer at Anne. The beam hits her and causes her great pain
Luz:Y'know if you could just give up and give me the box already, that would probably work out a lot better for you at this point, just saying
Anne:I. WILL. NOT. GIVE UP
Anne's eyes proceeded to glow blue as she becomes calamity Anne. She instantly splits Stringbean's lazer in half, and flies towards Luz. She then proceeds to toss Luz to the ground and flies downwards to her. Luz summons a wall of massive vines but Anne is so strong she tears through them with ease. Luz runs away and puts all her effort into creating a massive fire glyph. However Anne shoots a Lazer which is so strong it easily overpowers the glyph and hits Luz point blank.
Anne thinks she accidentally killed Luz, and is about to cry when suddenly Luz appears again, this time in a very... different form
Anne:Wait you're still aliv-
Anne doesn't have time to finish her sentence before Luz launches a massive blast of fire that envelops Anne. The flames burn Anne, but she is eventually able to overcome the pain and shoot a Lazer through it, causing the same amount of pain to Luz.
Anne:Wow you're way stronger now! This'll be fun!
She proceeds to use her telekinesis to rip her sword out of the block of ice Luz created. The sword shoots right towards Luz, who dodges it, but the sword keeps flying at her, until she eventually gets hit. Anne then rushes in and delivers a barrage of punches to her.
Anne then fires another Lazer, but Luz puts up a forcefield to block it. The forcefield sends the laser flying back at Anne who responds by creating a giant tennis racket to hit it. The racket turns the laser into three laser cats. However, these cats still bounce off of Luz's forcefield, which created a conflict where they keep hitting each other's attacks back. Eventually, Luz's forcefield starts to break. This gives Anne the opportunity to hit Luz so hard she goes into space, which Anne quickly flies to
Luz:We're having a space battle now? THIS IS AWESOME!
She summons a massive wall of vines. Anne is able to throw her sword to cut through the vines, but Luz uses her enhanced strength to throw it back at her. The two start flying around and clashing in space, moving too fast for the eye to see. Anne creates an absolutely massive tennis racket and attempts to slam Luz with it, but she catches it with one hand, and throws it overhead, causing Anne to to spin. She then teleports behind Anne and shoots a blast of light at her, but Anne summons her sword barely fast enough to block it. The two girls then start to notice their super forms are running out.
Anne(internal monologue):No, I can't take that box! But it seems my power is running out... I need to use the secret spell
Anne transforms into White Anne and releases one final burst of energy, far more powerful then anything she's ever done before. Luz, noticing her time limit running out, also puts all her effort into one final spell.
Luz:Do not underestimate me Anne, for I am the good witch Luz, child of the Human Realm, student of the Demon Realm, warrior of peace... NOW EAT THIS, SUCKA!
She unleashes an absolutely massive beam of energy, combing her fire glyphs and light glyphs into one.
The two beams clashed creating a amount of energy so great, that have they not been in space, it would have animated the planet. The two beams struggled dead even for several seconds until...
Luz's beam moved forward.
And Anne was vaporized.
Luz instantly teleported back to the boiling isles, seconds before her transformation wore off. She started crying over what just happened. She never wanted Anne to die, she just wanted to get that box from her. But now that their right had gone to far and ended in one of their deaths, she didn't want to use that box anymore. It just wouldn't feel right. But seeing that girl have so much determination to go back... It gave Luz hope. No matter how hard, she would find a way to go home.
