Angeal Hewley is a protagonist turned anti-hero from 2007's Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. He is the friend of Genesis Rhapsodos, and Sephiroth, and the mentor of Zack Fair.

Angeal Hewley is an esteemed SOLDIER 1st Class working under the Shinra Power Electric Company. Along with Genesis Rhapsodos, he was one of the only friends of Sephiroth. Angeal had been the mentor of the SOLDIER, Zack Fair, but abandoned his post as SOLDIER when he discovered the truth of his, Genesis's, and Sephiroth's births.
