Cyrax: The art of wielding a saber is legendary, and many try to achieve it to one day become a greatest hero and defender.
Gwenpool: But sometimes everything fails and they go crazy and will not hesitate to murder you!
Cyrax: Anakin Skywalker, the chosen one from Star Wars.
Gwenpool: And Raiden, the ripper from Metal Gear! He's Cyrax and I'm Gwenpool!
Cyrax: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skill to find out who would win a Death Battle!
Anakin Skywalker TRIES IT in DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cues: Anakin Skywalker Suite)
Cyrax: On the planet, Tatooine, lived a young boy named Anakin Skywalker. A boy that was pure in all meanings.
Gwenpool: But that didn't matter to an asshole alien that told him "you are my slave Anaquin" oh and also his mother was a slave too!
Cyrax: Anakin didn't lose hope at any time soon, but one day, a traveller named Qui-Gon Jinn landed in a ship with the queen Padme Amidala.
Gwenpool: And it was then when Qui-Gonn sucessfully saved Anakin from the slavery, but not his mother unfortunately.
Cyrax: It was told that Anakin was the chosen one, since Qui-Gon sensed a that he was the one that would bring balance to the force. Anakin left his home planet to become a Jedi...
Gwenpool: Everything was going OK until the Jedi Council told Qui-Gonn that he couldn't have another Padawan because he already had one, Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Cyrax: Qui-Gonn told Anakin to watch him from afar, but then the master Jedi was killed by a Sith, Darth Maul.
Gwenpool: And Qui-Gonn with his last breaths told Obi to train Anakin, since the boy was the chosen one... and then Qui died... oh well, sucks.
Cyrax: Obi took Anakin as his apprentice and trained him to become the greatest Jedi. Anakin and Obi-Wan would soon turn into a dinamic duo that fight against the Sith Lords.
Gwenpool: And also having Anakin have some problems that were sings that he was leading to be a part of the Dark Side but he eventually got those feelings over him, after killing a bunch of aliens.

Cyrax: Since Anakin is a Jedi he carries the weapons that is respective from one, the Lightsaber, which can cut through anything to solid steel to wood and even more. It's a weapon that every Jedi knight uses.
Gwenpool: Anakin has one of these but in a flashy nice blue! And if that wasn't enough he is skilled enough to go in a 1v1 with a Sith Lord! The Count Dooku! Well, Sith Lords are his speciality after all.
Cyrax: But that isn't even Anakin's more powerful power, as all Jedis, he uses the force, a great power that he can use to toss people or objects around with telekinesis or even stop attacks or objects.
Gwenpool: That's not all the force can do, he can also force choke you or even straight up crush your organs with the force kill! Being a Jedi is great! He even can use the force to create a barrier to protect himself!
Cyrax: Anakin also uses mind manipulation so he can trick his foes, but this Jedi mind trick only works on the weak minded people.
Gwenpool: But why would you want to use the Jedi mind trick when you have the precognition! The Jedi can see a close future! Now that's cool!
Cyrax: This Jedi precognition is pretty useful when Anakin is in combat since he can see what movements his enemy will do.
Gwenpool: Man, being a Jedi is great! Wonder how can I sign up!?
Cyrax: Well, while Anakin surely is powerful he is restricted to his Jedi code. But we are not taking it in because this is a Death battle.

Cyrax: Anakin has certainly achieved his chosen one title, and he proves it with his feats.
Gwenpool: Yeah! He can reflect laser attacks that are basically comparable to light attacks! Or even move a starship that could intercept hypersonic missiles! And obviously killing the Count Dooku and surviving a explosion that was nearby!
Cyrax: Anakin certainly is good at what he does, but he falls short, since he is still a normal human and can sometimes be cocky. And he failed to be the chosen one of the force, since he finally surrendered and succumbed to the Dark Side of the force, all to save Padme from dying...
Gwenpool: She still died...
Cyrax: But no matter what, every Sith Lord should be afraid of the chosen one of the force!
Anakin: My powers have doubled since the last time we met, Count.
Raiden RIPS to DEATH BATTLE![]
(Cues: It Has to be This Way)
Cyrax: At a young age a boy named Jack lost his parents and was adopted by the future president of the USA. George Sears...
Gwenpool: But that "Dad" was actually Solidus Snake, a baddie that who manipulates world leaders and profits from war economy, basically an asshole!
Cyrax: And Solidus listed Jack on the Army of The Devil.
Gwenpool: Yeah, because that's what every father would do logically huh?
Cyrax: Jack quickly gained a high Kill Count and was nicknamed... Jack the ripper!
Gwenpool: These guys couldn't think of anything more original.
Cyrax: Anyways, Jack was abandoned by Solidus at some point. And he, tormented by his past, decided to join Foxhound, an unity that specializes in secret infiltration missions.
Gwenpool: And in that unity there was Solid Snake! Cool! He met the box guy himself!
Cyrax: Jack eventually killed his "father" and gained his codename, Raiden!
Gwenpool: And then he was controlled by the Patriots, a secret organization that works behind the scenes and wants to dominate the world bla bla bla. They are dicks, that all you have to know. Raiden then had some couple problems but everything was OK later on.
Cyrax: And then, Raiden was experimented on by the Patriots and this experiment, transformed him into a cyborg.
Gwenpool: Like you!
Cyrax: Quiet please...

Gwenpool: Raiden got himself a brand new and better, upgraded cyborg body that makes him superstrong and superfast! He can even react to bullets or even survive explosions thanks to his armor!
Cyrax: That's not all, Raiden can even lift giant Metal Gears, that weight tons. Even throwing them away like nothing.
Gwenpool: Now you may be thinking that's all that Raiden can do. WRONG! HE CAN DO MORE!
Cyrax: When in combat, Raiden uses his sword, the high frequency blade. This sword debilitates its targets molecular bonds by fast attacks. And can cut through pretty much everything.
Gwenpool: But if Raiden it's getting to serious, he can also use the Murasama High Frequency blade, that vibrates at a faster rate than the other High Frequency Blade and this one cuts through NANOMACHINES, SON! And Raiden also has the Zandatsu, that makes his reaction speed to go from 50% to 90%!
Cyrax: Raiden is a an unstopabble killing machine, but he's the most lethal one when it comes to his Jack the Ripper mode. In this mode, Raiden goes insane for a bloodlust and his attacks become more powerful in speed and strength. But he also becomes insane.
Gwenpool: And Raiden's cyborg body is designed to be above nuclear level! Holy shit this guy is overpowered!

Gwenpool: Raiden is strong enough to lift a giant Metal Gear Ray and toss it around like it's a toy. Can move at Mach 2 speed. And even jump from rockets to rockets that move at incredible speeds! Rules of nature kiss my ass!
Cyrax: While Raiden is extremely powerful, he can still die if he takes too much damage and has PTSD from his childhood. But whatever the reason is, everyone should be at alert, no one knows when Jack the Ripper will come to get you.
Raiden: I think it's time for Jack... TO LET 'ER RIP!
Interlude[]
Cyrax: Alright! The combatants are all set, let's see who will rise up victorious!
Gwenpool: It's time for a DEATH BATTLEEEEE!!!!
DEATH BATTLE![]
Evening at a secret base, Raiden is running to get out of the base after slaughtering cyborgs.
Raiden: There it is! The exit!
Raiden gets out and gives a glance at his surroundings, he is in a beach. Anakin was already walking around in the beach before Jack appeared.
Anakin: Ugh, this sand it's rough, coarse and irritating!
Raiden points at Anakin with his blade.
Raiden: You there! You seem suspicious... were you working with those cyborgs?
Anakin turns around, dissapointed to see that the cyborg is talking to him.
Anakin: What is a cyborg?
Raiden: Don't play dumb with me!
Anakin is confused and he prepares to grab his lightsaber.
Raiden: Guess I can't communicate with you! If it has to be this way, it should be!
Raiden dashes at Anakin, but the Jedi turns on his lightsaber and blocks the cyborg's attack.
FIGHT![]
Suddenly, the Jedi pushes Raiden with the force as Raiden stands, questioning himself what happened, before dodging a stab to the face by the Jedi with his lightsaber.
The ripper dodges the attack and proceeds to slash Anakin's chest, the Jedi covers his chest to quickly turn around and look at the ripper with an angered face, they both get into a swordfight.
Both the cyborg and the chosen one get into a blade to blade struggle, the Jedi keeps pressing on but Raiden kicks him and takes him down and proceeds to slash Anakin's stomach. The Jedi stands up and dashes at the cyborg, slashing him with his lightsaber. Raiden falls back as he prepares to kick the Jedi in the gut, he does it and Anakin is send flying through the beach.
Anakin: What is this power?
Raiden runs at his opponent as he uses rapid kicks to hurt Anakin, the Jedi uses the force to push the cyborg away and this one does a backflip to be right on his feet again.
Raiden: Weird powers you got there! But my speed is far superior!
Anakin prepares to recieve the attack from Raiden, the cyborg attacks and Anakin blocks the sword swing with his lightsaber. Anakin keeps gaining the upper hand until Raiden breaks free and jumps high, Raiden starts falling from the skies but Anakin moves the cyborg with the force and starts smashing him into the ground.
Anakin: Hah! Compared to me you're nothing.
Raiden: G-GAH!
Anakin stops, and takes out his lightsaber to finish off the cyborg, only for Raiden to move at a high speed and punch the chosen one in the face, then take out his sword and slashing Anakin several times.
Anakin falls to the sand, and tries to get up, he does as he turns around.
Anakin: That is outrageous! It's unfair!
Raiden chuckles.
Raiden: Don't you think smashing me into the ground is unfair too?
They both start swordfighting again. Raiden gets the upper hand here and wins the swordfight but is quickly pushed away by Anakin's force. The Jedi starts stabbing Raiden several times with his lightsaber and end up with a slash on the cyborg's chest. Raiden runs to Anakin and uses rapid kicks to slash Anakin with his sword, the chosen one blocks the majority of the attacks with his lightsaber, but Raiden does a final stab that gets Anakin right in the stomach. The chosen one backs up, covering his wound, only to see blood in his hand coming out from the stab in his stomach.
Anakin: Ugh... enough!
Raiden prepares to do the finishing blow but suddenly Anakin starts talking.
Anakin: You don't want to attack me...
Anakin tries to use the Jedi mind trick on the cyborg.
Raiden: Really? That was your trick?
Anakin: Oh please!
Anakin says that as he takes a defensive position against the cyborg and Raiden tries to slash Anakin several times, but the Jedi blocks all the attacks from the ripper, to quickly toss Raiden around with the force, the chosen one throws the cyborg far away and leaps to reach the cyborg, Anakin and Raiden start fighting in mid air, swordfighting at a very fast pace until Raiden is stabbed in the arm by Anakin's lightsaber. The jedi slashes Raiden's stomach before landing on the ground, the cyborg falls, being unable to land in safety.
Anakin: I suppose you have had enough of this by now...
The cyborg gets up in pain, as he takes his sword out once again. But Anakin lifts Raiden's blade with telekinesis and breaks it with the force.
Anakin: Stop! It's useless!
Anakin rushes at Raiden and slashes him a bunch of times, the cyborg gets on his knees.
Anakin: Well, it seems you're done.
Anakin is about to stab Raiden in the chest with his lightsaber, but Raiden uses Zandatsu and his perception of time becomes slower.
Raiden: Pain... this is why I fight!
Raiden kicks Anakin in the chin, sending the chosen one flying, as Raiden takes out the Murasama and points at Anakin with it.
Raiden: I THINK IT'S TIME FOR JACK TO LET 'ER RIP!
They swordfight again, going too fast and Raiden gets the upper hand and starts slashing Anakin in several parts of the body, and even cutting his cibernetic arm in the process. Just when Raiden is about to cut the Jedi's head off, Anakin cuts off Raiden's arm in which he was holding the Murasama.
Raiden: SON OF A BITCH!
Raiden tries to punch Anakin but that leads to Anakin cutting the other arm off from the cyborg. Raiden stand on his knees.
Anakin: This is where the fun begins.
With quick slashes, Anakin appears behind Raiden before the cyborg is reduced to shreds by Anakin and his lightsaber, the only part left from the ripper are small parts from his body, but his head is split into two.
Anakin: Well, that man was like General Grievous.

Gwenpool: Ah, Raiden, he just couldn't keep up!
Cyrax: Anakin and Raiden were both standing toe to toe with eachother, but Anakin's force powers and superior speed leaded him to the win.
Gwenpool: Raiden was stronger than Anakin, while Anakin could use the force to move a starship, that doesn't seem to big compared to a Metal Gear Ray and Rex, which Raiden has been able to lift! But Anakin could react to a startship that was moving at hypersonic speeds!
Cyrax: While Raiden was fast, his maximum speed was Mach 2, that is stated by Sundowner. But Anakin's speed was faster, since he could react to Mach 5 to 10. Leaving Raiden underpowered in speed.
Gwenpool: It just took time to Raiden to fall in an ANAKINgdom of pain!
Cyrax: The winner is Anakin Skywalker!

Connections Between the Combatants[]
The connections between Anakin and Raiden is that they're both saber using protagonists that fight for the good, they were trained at a young age and they both had one of their arms cut off by a rival. They also lost some of their parental figures. Coincidentally, they both have some sort of injury in the face.
