THUMBNAILS ARE APPRECIATED

Allister vs. Luigi is a What-If? episode of Death Battle.

Description[]

Pokemon Sword and Shield vs Super Mario! Ghosts, they can scare everyone and they are some of the bigger mysteries out there, but these two combatants, related in some way to ghosts despite being completely polar opposites, will face off, who will win? Luigi, the green-clone of Mario that became more beloved than Mr. Video Game due to some theory? Or Allister, the shy Ghost-type expert of the Region of Galar?

NOTE: Luigi will only have feats from Super Smash Bros, Luigi's Mansion and  some of the 2D games, while Allister will have his 6 best Pokemon, including Gengar, for the sake of fairness.

Interlude[]

Wiz: Ghosts, some of the most researched entities of the world, they have atracted a lot of investigators or enthusiasts.

Boomstick: Ya know, some people from real life or fictional characters have investigated both of these, but there's still characters like Casper the Friendly Ghost, Danny Phantom or the ghosts from Pac-Man

Wiz: (sighs), Ugh, well, these two combatants coming from the same company are related to ghosts, however, their personalities are completely different.

Boomstick: Yeah, one of them would sca-

Wiz: Booms! Don't spoil! Anyways, Luigi, the signature Player-2 of gaming.

Boomstick: And Allister, Ghost-type Gym Leader of the Region of Galar.

Wiz: For this fight the fighters will be handicapped so the battle is fair as possible, but anyways.

Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor, and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.

Wiz: The world of Mario is a pretty interesting one...To say the least.

Boomstick: Seriously! Why in the hell would there be two plumbers rescuing a sexy princess from a giant turtle-dragon hybrid while dealing with deadly animals and even some non-existent living things such as bullets and round white ghosts!?

Wiz: Calm down a bit! But continuing, Mario is pretty much the main hero of this successful franchise, but his younger brother Luigi is pretty much the opposite in terms of recognizition and general fame, albeit he has a bigger fandom than the whimsical mascot of Nintendo due to some person making a certain theory.

Boomstick: And because Mario kinda bullied him after winning a tennis tournament, well at least that game was all a recording...

Wiz: As mentioned earlier, Luigi will be handicapped to prevent this fight from becoming a very huge stomp that could rival certain other fights from the past we did, but onto his backstory, Luigi was originally meant to be a pallete-recolor of Mario that was created so a player 2 could play a game like Mario Bros. without causing confusion about who was who, in other words, having two Marios that look exactly the same.

Boomstick: When the American version of Super Mario Bros 2 came out, Luigi had some changes from his original appearence, such as being a bit taller than Mario and having certain atributes such as having better jumps or being very slippy, seriously he cannot stop running without sliding much more than Mario.

Wiz: Luigi has been the main protagonist of some games, most notably 5 of them, Mario is Missing, New Super Luigi U and the Luigi's Mansion trilogy, the latter trilogy is what causes Luigi to have connections with Allister, since they are related to the same thing Allister is known for, ghosts.

Boomstick: So if Luigi's Mansion never happened, then Luigi would be fighting another Pokemon trainer today? Well I can't wait to see Luigi fighting, um, Wally maybe?

Wiz: Continuing with the Luigi analisis, he's most notable for having some power-ups that Mario also has access to, such as the Super Mushroom, which makes him grow in size, and the Fire-Flower, which makes him able to throw fireballs, which are capable of burning and killing enemies instantly.

Boomstick: But we are not done yet, since he has a huge amount of power-ups, including some mushroom that can make him fly with a suit and even a Penguin suit! Let's hope people don't throw him out of a cliff...

Wiz: His most important factors for this fight will be his Luigi's Mansion abilities, with him possesing the Poltergust G-00, the third of the Poltergust series after the 3000 and 5000 models.

Boomstick: This vaccum cleaner created by Professor E.Gadd, the same person behind FLUDD, is pretty much the biggest nightmare of Mario-universe ghosts, but I don't even know if it could affect Ghost-type Pokemon, but hey, it can suck people in Super Smash Bros, so maybe?

Wiz: The Poltergust G-00 can do pretty much the same things like the old ones, except with more functions like launching toilet plungers at ghosts, and it has the function of slamming ghosts into the ground

Boomstick: Damn that must hurt, but hey, I bet ghosts don't feel pain due to their body.

Wiz: Since that's pretty much his only and most important Luigi's Mansion ability, we will go straight into his basic Super Smash Bros abilities, starting with his normal punches and kicks that every SSB character can do, but then we get to his special abilities.

Boomstick: Luigi Cyclone is a move that cause Luigi to spin, and if it works good, it can land multiple hits on the opponent, making for a good combo.

Wiz: Luigi also has one of Mario's SSB movements, the Super Jump Punch, but Luigi's one functions a lot more different than Mario, since if he hits an opponent in mid-air, it will barely make any damage.

Boomstick: But if it hits an opponent on the ground, it's much more powerful and can send opponent flying if it's damaged enough.

Wiz: Luigi's current Final Smash is using the Poltergust to suck opponents in, and making them fly accross the air, but before that, there was the Negative Zone.

Boomstick: That Final Smash is actually pretty creepy, since c'mon! Luigi is shy and a coward but him doing like a satanic ritual to give a random effect to people is very disturbing.

Wiz: And now it's time for his most impressive feats not counting the 3D games, since those are way too overpowered for Allister to handle, this includes the famous Mario lifting a castle feat from Super Mario World, not because Luigi scales to Mario but because he also did it, since you can play the game as Luigi and the cutscene will not change.

Boomstick: Luigi has taken on a lot of foes including King Boo himself, Bowser, and Wart...OH WAIT! He actually never fought Wart due to him being all a dream like Mario, but anyways, Luigi has flaws.

Wiz: Like Allister, Luigi is also a huge coward, but in the opposite way, since Luigi is not afraid to show up, but he's scared of ghosts, seriously, complete opposite of Allister if you ask us.

Boomstick: Luigi also has some notable flaws in combat such as his slippy movements and he's not exactly like Mario, so he has less experience, but, will Luigi prove he can be as brave as his older brother?

(plays the ending cutscene from Luigi's Mansion)

Luigi: (cries and laughs at the same time)
