All For One surname Shigaraki is the main antagonist of the My Hero Academia series.

He is the former leader and benefactor of the League of Villains. Once Japan's most powerful villain, and All Might's arch-nemesis, his full identity is unknown. His true motive is to take his little brother's Quirk, One For All, the only power that can oppose him. His current goal is to shape Tomura Shigaraki to become his new vessel by hijacking his body to use his hatred to steal One For All for good as well as to remake himself in greater power. Then, he plans to conquer the rest of the world.

He was imprisoned in Tartarus after his second defeat at All Might's hands, until he escaped, laying low waiting for his new body to heal.

Quirks[]

  • All For One: All For One's Quirk allows him to steal other people's Quirks, leaving them Quirkless, and wield the Quirks as his own. All For One can also redistribute his stolen Quirks to other people. His multiple Quirks grant him a very wide variety of options in combat, and he can combine his stolen Quirks to create compound attacks with devastating effects. However, he cannot steal the original users' Quirk proficiency and is therefore limited by his own skill with his stolen powers. Because of this, he prefers to steal Quirks that rely on raw power, rather than ones that take practice and experience to master. While he can steal any Quirk, All For One's body cannot properly contain Quirks of newer generations, which is the reason why he sought Dr. Garaki's medical research. He also mentions having frequent nightmares where the consciousnesses of the people he stole Quirks from appear before him. Shortly before the Kamino Incident, his Quirk was duplicated by Doctor Garaki and the original version of it was given to Tomura, while All For One kept the copied version. A conscious vestige of All For One remains within the original Quirk and has the capabilities of overriding Tomura's will and control his body, though it is currently unaware how much of a connection the vestige and original All For One have to each other.
  • Search: All For One stole this Quirk from Ragdoll. With this Quirk, he can observe and monitor up to a hundred people at a time, including their location and weak points. In addition to Infrared, this Quirk makes up for All for One's blindness.
  • Warping: All For One can produce a black liquid that acts as a portal, similar in nature to Kurogiri's Warp Gate. It appears he can use this Quirk on a large scale as he produces multiple black liquid portals that transport dozens of Nomu to the League of Villains' hideout. This Quirk, however, has many limitations: it is not a coordinate-based warping and can only warp things to and from his location, and it only works if it is used on someone with whom he has a close relationship.
  • Air Cannon: All For One releases an air shockwave from his arms. This Quirk is further strengthened by its combined usage with Springlike Limbs and several other power-up Quirks.
  • Springlike Limbs: This Quirk allows All For One to coil his muscles in order to enhance his physical strength, and can also be used to augment other Quirks, like Air Cannon.
  • Rivet Stab: All For One transforms his fingers into black tendrils that have red prominent cracked lines that extend from the users' fingers, although they can also emerge from other parts of the body such as the spine. These appendages can easily pierce bodies, however, the user may choose whether to wound the target or not, as seen when All For One used it with Forced Quirk Activation, without harming the target.
  • Forced Quirk Activation: All For One can activate a target's Quirk against their will, whether they are conscious or not. All For One has used this Quirk in combination with Rivet Stab.
  • Impact Recoil: This Quirk seemingly enables All For One to completely reflect the impact of an attack back to the attacker.
  • Multiplier: This Quirk seemingly multiplies the number of All For One's arms.
  • Hypertrophy: This Quirk seemingly enlarges All For One's Arm.
  • Rivet: This Quirk possibly generates rivet-like growths on All For One's arm.
  • Spearlike Bones: This Quirk generates drill-like bone structures on All For One's arm.
  • Kinetic Booster: This unnamed Quirk seemingly increases the amount of kinetic energy All For One creates and releases. All For One has four copies of this Quirk.
  • Strength Enhancer: The unnamed Quirk seemingly enhances All For One's physical strength. All For One has three copies of this Quirk.
  • Infrared: This Quirk allows All For One to sense his surroundings using infrared senses. He uses this Quirk to compensate for his blindness. However, the amount that he is able to sense is very limited.
  • Life Force: This Quirk was given to him by Doctor Garaki, and has allowed him to possess supernatural longevity in lifespan.
  • Super Regeneration: This Quirk enables rapid physical regeneration, however, it does not work for cicatrized injuries.
  • Radio Waves: All For One can disrupt radio waves and cause communicators to malfunction.
  • Unnamed Telekinesis Quirk: This Quirk allows All For One the ability to levitate objects with his hand. He used it to levitate his medical device once freed from Tartarus.
  • Heavy Payload: This Quirk seemingly allows All For One to increase the amount of damage being dealt.
  • Reflect: All For One can reflect attacks back towards his opponents.
  • Scatter: All For One can split up projectiles allowing them to scatter all over.
  • Unnamed Hardening Quirk: Stolen from a fighter in the Underground Masquerade.
  • Unnamed Lie Detector Quirk: All For One can sense whether a person is lying or if they possess any semblance of ill will.

Super Moves[]

  • Ultimate Quirk Combination: All For One utilizes the strongest combination of Quirk that he currently holds inside his body to greatly enhance his right arm, combining Springlike Limbs, Multiplier, Hypertrophy, Rivets, Air Walk, and Spearlike Bones, as well as four Kinetic Booster Quirks and three Strength Enhancer Quirks. This combination of Quirks is what All For One attempted to use in order to kill All Might. He even added Impact Recoil onto this combination to better his chances of defeating All Might.

Prime[]

  • Considered to be Japan's most dangerous villain.
  • Ruled Japan from the shadows for over a hundred years.
  • Killed every user of One For All, up to All Might, including his own brother Yoichi.
  • Killed Nana Shimura, and blew up the island they were fighting on, in one blast.
  • Defeated Nana Shimura, Gran Torino, and a much younger All Might, without the slightest effort.
  • Ripped out All Might's guts during their first one-on-one fight.
  • Nearly killed Prime All Might.

Weakened State[]

  • Destroyed the entire Nomu Factory, and caused mass destruction to the surrounding area, in a split second.
  • One-shotted Tiger, Gang Orca, Mt. Lady and Best Jeanist with a single strike.
  • According to him, that blast would have been powerful enough to annihilate all of them if Best Jeanist hadn't used his Quirk to pull them out of the way in time.
  • Nearly killed Best Jeanist.
    • Best Jeanist was No. 3 Pro-Hero in the entire Japan.
  • His mere presence was shown to be so malevolent and dark that Deku, Ida, Momo, Shoto and Kirishima were completely paralyzed with fear by it.

  • Single-handedly overpowered Endeavor, Edgeshot, and a much older Gran Torino.
    • Gran Torino, in his younger age, already faced All For One in a fight.

  • Dodged All Might's punches.
  • During his second fight with All Might, unlike his archnemesis, he never flinched or screamed in pain.
  • Nearly killed Weakened All Might.
  • Has Genius levels of IQ and was able to predict many situations.
    • Somehow knew Lady Nagant was going to betray him, so he put an explosive inside her.
    • Knew that Deku and other Pro-Heroes would be looking for him, so he placed a bomb that exploded the mansion.
    • Managed to nearly make Deku go insane, by not accepting help from any of his friends.
    • Managed to predict many other scenarios that took place after he was imprisoned in Tartarus.
  • Successfully freed all the prisoners in Tartarus, including his original body.
  • Also released prisoners from 6 other places, to create mass confusion and mayhem throughout the country.
  • He is an expert at observing his enemies and exploiting their flaws, even their insecurities.
  • Due to his age and experience, he's able to combine Quirks and make many devastating results.
    • Combined some Strength Enhancer Quirks with Air Cannon and managed to destroy several buildings (The range of this attack is insane).
    • Combined Rivet Stab with Forced Quirk Activation to use Kurogiri's Warp Gate Quirk.
    • Combined 13 different Quirks to increase the strength of his Arm, enough to match All Might's strength.
  • All For One's will is also great enough for his original Quirk to overwhelm Tomura Shigaraki's own willpower and possess the young villain like a puppet.

Flaws/Weaknesses[]

  • Defeated by All Might twice.
  • His first fight with All Might ended with the top of his head completely obliterated, and him on the verge of absolute death if not for Garaki's help.
  • Due to the limitations of his own Quirk, he is unable to steal next-generations Quirks, as well as those of people with greater willpower than him.
  • Because of this weakness All For One was unable to claim the One For All Quirk, even after pursuing it for over a hundred years, and therefore needed Tomura Shigaraki to do this work for him.
  • His senses have limits, as shown when he was brought into Tartarus: the lack of sound and vibration leaving him completely oblivious to his surroundings.
  • The Lie Detector Quirk doesn't work when the people he's talking to are being brainwashed by another Quirk.
