All Wicked Things Come from Innocence

Alex Kralie VS Alex Bale is a What-If Death Battle featuring Alex Kralie from the Marble Hornets series against Alex Bale from the Promos series and Pizza Time Pizza series.

Intro[]

(Note: I, Notsussybaka900, current owner of the fight, did not write some bits of this part. However, I’m leaving it I because I don’t think I can do better.)

(*Cue Brandon Yates - Wiz and Boomstick*)

Wiz: The protagonist is supposed to be the hero, leader and main character of the story. We all know this. But what if the one protagonist you follow for most of a series turns out to be the true villain.

Boomstick: Plot Twist!

Wiz: And today we have two of these protagonists turned antagonists from two web-series who ironically are both named "Alex", like Alex Kralie; the deuteragonist investigator turned delusional serial killer of Marble Hornets.

Kralie

Boomstick: And Alex Bale; the high school student turned kidnapper turned mind-controlled cult leader from the Promos and Pizza Time Pizza series, he's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Balealex

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour and skills to see who will win in a Death Battle!

[THIS IS WHERE THE SPOILERS FOR PROMOS AND PTP COME UP, SINCE ALEX IS A WALKING SPOILER AFTER THE REVEAL.)

Wiz: Alex Bale was just a normal student at his high school. He had signed up to make promos for the school’s broadcast and got the job. Things were looking good for Alex.

Boomstick: So then he got kidnapped by a crazy demon who made him his next host!

Wiz: Well… yeah, that’s the gist of it. A being known as the Pizza Man, who was at the time possessing a man named Joseph Goodwin, kidnapped Alex to transfer the Pizza Man to him. The Pizza Man had been hopping from host to host for who knows long; kidnapping someone, possessing them and then using them to kidnap someone else.

Boomstick: Kind of pointless if you think about it.

Wiz: The Pizza Man completely changed Alex’s personality. At first just a normal person, he became an egocentric villain who put anyone who he doesn’t like on the list, a list of his enemies which he then kidnaps and… just sort of keeps them there forever.

Bop it!

Boomstick: I mean, he gave him a bop-it. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Wiz: Julien, the person who he kidnapped, managed to escape, but things were somewhat forgiven. That was when Alex realised he needed to go around it a different way.

Boomstick: So, he put on a blue mask and created a fake identity, named… the Blue Man! Seriously, he couldn’t come up with something better?

Wiz: “The Blue Man” pretended to be an mysterious evil with a grudge against Alex, but in reality it was just an excuse for Alex to get rid of the people on his list and frame someone else for it too.

Boomstick: And so the Blue Man kidnapped a person named Austen and created a whole set of clues to make it seem as if one of the teachers was the culprit. The rest of the Promos team did end up realising, but it was too late at that point.

Wiz: But Alex did end up going to jail when Julien from earlier showed proof that he was responsible, and that’s where it ends.

Boomstick: well, actually the Pizza Man was still controlling him and there was like a dissociative identity thing going on between Alex and the Pizza Man but Alex was still locked away in his mind while the Pizza Man was in control and he formed a cult in prison named Pizza Time Pizza that spread outside and worshipped the Pizza Man…

Wiz: Yeah, it actually doesn’t end there. So Julien ends up investigating the cult and find out Alex is responsible and they meet up, and then Alex dies after the Pizza Man jumps hosts to Julien. Did I mention that Pizza Man hosts need to carve an eye symbol into their hand?

Trivia[]

  • The connections between Alex Kralie and Alex Bale is that they were once the protagonist of web-shows who created films for their school before meeting with a mysterious supernatural entity (the Pizza Man and the Operator) that drove them insane, turning into the series antagonist. Both web-shows (Marble Hornets & Promos/Pizza Time Pizza) started off comical and normal before derailing into horror. Both are also associated with a symbol (the cross through a circle and the eye on a hand)
  • If this battle ever was to happen it would be either live-action or sprites.
  • Bale will get the Pizza Man in the battle but he will still lose if he dies but the Pizza Man survives, and vice versa in the unlikely scenario that happens. Essentially, think of the Pizza Man as a weapon; if you lose, but the weapon still exists, you still lose.
