History[]
Alcina Dimitrescu was the final inheritor of Castle Dimitrescu, a medieval fortress looming over an unnamed mountain village in Eastern Europe. At some point prior to or during the 1950s, Alcina came into contact with Mother Miranda, a mysterious woman worshipped by the locals as a dark deific figure, who infected her with a parasitic Mold-based B.O.W called a Cadou. This parasite granted Dimitrescu superhuman strength, regenerative capabilities, and retractable claws she could extend from her fingertips. Moreover, the parasite halted her aging process at 44 years old, indicating that she was born sometime during the early 1900s. However, due to inheriting a blood disease passed down to her from her ancestors, Alcina was forced to consume human flesh and blood to maintain her powers, and soon became feared by the villagers for preying upon them.

- Slammed Ethan threw a wooden floor, causing him to fall several stories down
- Lifted and flung her dressing table with no trouble
Trivia[]
- Alcina's last name, Dimitrescu, is a name of Greek origin, though using the Romanian version, with the patronym -escu, so the name would be translated as 'son of Dimitrie'.
- Though Alcina's mutation appears to happen in response to Ethan stabbing her with the Dagger of Death's Flowers, Alcina herself makes the comment during the fight that Ethan is the only person, besides Miranda, to see her in that form. Notes found later in Miranda's lab, which detail Alcina's mutation traits, confirm that she does have some "arbitrary control" over which form she takes.
- Her mutated form is based on the Romanian word "dracul", meaning dragon; the name Dracula is also derived from this word.
- According to the head chambermaid, Alcina uses a custom-made lipstick which is highly expensive.
- Alcina's ability to produce claws from her fingertips mirrors that of Lust from "Fullmetal Alchemist". Coincidentally, they both share the same Japanese voice actress.
