Albedo is a recurring villain from the Ben 10 media franchise. He is a galvan and former assistant of Azmuth who got stuck in a copy of Bens body after creating an Omnitrix of his own.

History[]
Albedo was a highly accomplished Galvan scientist, working as Azmuth's assistant. He always displayed a haughty feeling of superiority toward others, particularly in terms of intelligence, at the same time. Despite his brilliance, he was always overshadowed by the legendary genius of his mentor. In a desperate attempt to prove his worth and show that he was more than just a mere assistant, Albedo asked Azmuth for a copy of the Omnitrix, claiming he did not trust "a mere human" to wield such a powerful device. Azmuth declined this request, stating that there could be only one Omnitrix.
He was subsequently dismissed from his position, though he claimed that it was his decision to leave. In reality, it was merely a cover for his ulterior motives - seeking to use his knowledge of the Omnitrix to create his own copy. Albedo succeeded in building a functional copy of the device, but in doing so, he inadvertently caused the Omnitrix's default DNA to be that of Ben Tennyson, causing him to transform into a permanent clone of Ben.
Azmuth, seeing the potential consequences of giving such a powerful device to someone with such a fragile ego, denied Albedo's request. This, however, was the beginning of Albedo's downfall. Enraged by his mentor's lack of trust, he decided to take matters into his own hands and build his own copy of the Omnitrix.
Albedo's arrogance and stubbornness proved to be his downfall, as he was unable to replicate the device perfectly. In an unfortunate turn of events, he ended up becoming a permanent copy of Ben Tennyson, the human that Azmuth had chosen to be the first user of the Omnitrix. Disgusted by what had happened to him, Albedo made it his life's mission to seek revenge on Ben and Azmuth, determined to one day return to his true Galvan form and prove his worth as a scientist. And so, Albedo went on to torment his former mentor and his nemesis, constantly trying to outsmart them and kill them,
As a human, Albedo initially mirrors his Ben, sporting the same hair color, eyes, and facial features. When he's his 11-year-old self, he wears a simple outfit consisting of a red shirt and grey pants. His appearance as a Galvan demonstrates his pale skin, bright red eyes, and a crimson Galvan tunic with black stripes.
Albedo is conceited, egocentric, ambitious, and a resentful person. His broader vocabulary and condescending mannerisms convey a sense of superiority, but he struggles to accept responsibility for his mistakes. Despite Albedo's apparent disdain for Ben's behavior, he has unconsciously taken on Ben's mannerisms and dietary preferences. He is cautious and untrusting of others, and has even become enlightened for a brief period, realizing the futility of destruction. Despite his gruff exterior, he has shown that he can be caring and considerate towards his comrades or anyone he considers an ally.
