DEATH BATTLE fears the Radio Demon[]
Picture this, when you die and go to hell, you're trapped in the Pride Ring. Where sinners wait every end of the year for Heavens army of Exorcists fly down to kill all sinners to make sure Hell doesn't suffer from overpopulation. However, there are sinners who have lived for thousands of years by making deals and rising in the hierarchy in power becoming "Overlords". These sinners were once human but now become true demons by the number of deals they have made and the souls they have claimed. And no one fits the picture of destructive and wicked mysterious slender man in red, "Alastor, the Radio Demon".
In the Louisiana of 1900's, Alastor Hartfelt had the life as a Radio Host and a notorious serial killer. But don't take him like Freddy Krueger, he had a moral code and only killed specific people. Fortunately, Alastor met his end in 1933 during a hunting accident when the hunter mistaken him as a deer. A common misunderstanding down south. He later woke up in hell, where he began his devilish plan. At first, most of the sinners who met Alastor ignored him since we wasn't much of a bother. But in one night, Overlords began to disappear. And their souls can be heard on a radio broadcast that spread all across hell screaming in agony. And so, Alastor Harfelt became known as the Radio Demon, and the most fearsome Overlord to ever wander the circle of Pride. The demon in red and a voice of a radio broadcast acts like a sociopathic menace but strangely has a gentlemen charm. His smile and monocle shows he's got class and a specific prejudice towards the coming age in new technology like television.
So much, his image distort the film or even destroys the camera trying to catch him and even cause electric malfunctions when he shows his truer colors. I recommend not getting on Alastors bad side, while he acts like a gentlemen its all a facade as he has some sinister plans cooking which involves with the Princess of Hell and her Hotel for sinners who want to get into Heaven. And he has the literal power to do what ever the hell he wants.
As an Overlord, Alastor is an immortal sinner who can only die from angelic weapons or have his soul manipulated by a superior opponent. If that were to happen, he's got demonic magic that'll make the devil fiddle his last string. Alastor's manipulation over his own shadow allows him to move teleport in short distances or make quick escapes from impossible opponents. Or he can just extend it creating a large and impenetrable barrier from angelic assassins “Exorcists”. He can conjure tentacles to aid him in battle to block, ensnare or crush large airships. If he wants something to take different appearance, he'll just snap his fingers and an object of his choosing will appear or an entire room will be remade in his image.
And should he need personal assistance he can summon minions from the darkness to aid and die for him. And should the fight get serious or Alastor wants to show off, he unleashes his true demonic form. Bigger, stronger and full on Nightmare fuel to any loan shark foolish enough to challenge the Radio Demon. With this much abilities, its no wonder Alastor has the habit of making deals with sinners in exchange for favors or their souls. Its with this power, Alastor was able to steal souls, torture them or even tear them to shreds, like I said, full demon here. Often, Alastor would play with his victims and why wouldn't he? He's an overpowered Overlord only rivaled by his counterpart, the Television Demon "Vox". All because Vox wanted Alastor to join the V's, probably for the best he disappeared cuz well, his name started with an A. And Vlastor just doesn't sound right.
For seven years, Alastor stayed gone becoming more obscure and almost myth like until the Princess of Hell "Charlie Morningstar" announced her Happy Hotel for all sinners who want to get out of hell and into heaven. Although no took her dreams seriously because Heaven doesn't want to let any sinners in, Alastor took an interest in Charlies dreams after her outburst on tv. He says he wanted to watch Charlie try and fail with her dream while helping out as a form of entertainment, he's very vague about his motives but not discrete with his methods. Such as when the snake sinner "Sir Pentious" attempted to do battle with Alastor with one of his Air Ships, but the smiling demon just conjured some hentai friends to ensnare and crush the balloon til it goes pop.
Thanks to the calculation forum, we know the destruction is 1.03 kilotons of TNT[1] enough to destroy a small town. Hell its possible that Alastor hasn't gone full power yet, especially when compared to his counterpart Vox the Television demon. During their sing-off, Alastor roasted Vox to the point where he caused a massive blackout to the city[2]. Just goes to show how much power an Overlord has down in hell and with his immortality, he'll be almost impossible to kill. Almost
Alaster, like any sinner, demon or angel, is only vulnerable to holy weapons. And if he meets a superior opponent, he'll retreat or surrender when his life is being threaten. But it won't stop him from being vague and attempting to get out of whatever contract he is associated with. Cuz once he clips his wings, guess who'll be pulling the strings and doing so with a smile.
DEATH BATTLE welcomes Lord Sullivan[]
"Iruma Suzuki", age 14, was an unfortunate child from birth. The moment he could stand up, his terrible parents put him to work teaching him that the world is cruel and unfair to anyone who shares his name. But all that changed when Iruma's parents sold his soul to a demon. But not just any demon, one of the 3 greats in the Netherworld, and principal to the prestige demon school "Bablys", Lord Sullivan.
In his younger years, Sullivan served the original Demon King "Derkila", the one who shaped the Netherworld into his own image and made the impossible possible. From rivers streaming through the sky to flower fields planted in magma, nothing was denied from the greatest Demon ever, but like Avatar Roku from the opening in Last Airbender, he vanished. And only Sullivan knows what happened, kinda. He's been pretty vague in his choices, like why would he choose to adopt a human and put him into his school full of demons KNOWING that he would be eaten if he's found out. Fortunately, he has a couple of tricks up his sleeves and an incredible use in magic. Demons are after all adept in magic and Sullivan might just be the most powerful Demon in the Netherworld thanks to it.
Demons Physiology in this series are far stronger and faster than the average human, with demonic wings that gives Sullivan aerial advantage and thanks to his millennia years of knowledge, he can sense powerful magic miles away or traveling supersonic speeds. Although demons magic runs on a mana pool like that from an RPG game. Using too much of their magic will deplete them to exhaustion and even force them to bleed out of their mouths. As for magic, they have names for their spells, Libera increases throwing strength, Ra Fire manipulates fire, Cherisul is transformation magic into reality, and Fractal which controls the gravity of the demon or objects.
Sullivan uses Fractal with unique precision its almost like telekinesis, and this spell has a stronger version Grand Fractal which can create large craters capable of crushing demonic terrorists into the dirt. And his Cherisul allows Sullivan to conjure just about anything he wants, just to spoil his grandson or show off how amazing Iruma really is. He does these spells so well he's capable of Non-verbal magic, where a demon can think of the spell and make it come to reality. Magic in the Netherworld is powered by the desire and imagination of the demon, the stronger their desires are the more powerful their spells become. Its one of the reasons why all the demons view Sullivan as the candidate for the Demon King throne. He has a charismatic personality that makes him approachable when he wants to or when he doesn't. Sullivan's menacing aura gives him complete control over a demons body control forcing them to do whatever Sullivan commands.
Though we haven't seen him at full power, we do know a small portion of his magic was enough to satiate Iruma's Ring of Gluttony, an apparatus which devours mana from a demon. Demons in the Netherworld are all ranked base on their skills, attributes and power, Iruma at the time was at 3rd "Gimmel" rank during the Walter Park arc. Sullivan is 9th "Tet" ranked, so he's about 6 times more powerful than the destructive energy that would've destroyed half of Walter Park[3] . Its no wonder demons have high respects for this fun silly demonic lord.
Sullivan past is still vague but with the few glimpses we have an idea of what he has or could have accomplished. Sullivan is stated to be canidate for the next Demon King despite his rank, meaning his power is far superior to other demons. Like Naberius Kalego who once shot the Mountain Bull that can wipe out an entire town with ease. Once the teacher "Bars Robin" who's bloodline magic "Bullseye Shot" guarantees direct hit without any interference fired an arrow towards Sullivan going mach 1. And he caught the arrow with his fingers like it was nothing and ran back to school despite being interrogated by the Demon Border control. Sullivan just told them off and they stepped back mostly they didn't have any evidence to convict him. Thats when he stopped nearly 100 explosive fireballs made from "Kirio Amy's" firework apparatus (Long Story) and redirected them all away from his school with his mind. It goes for sure that Sullivan is not one with out presentation
But that doesn't mean he doesn't have his fair share of weakness. Like the rest of the demons, Sullivan has a limited mana supply and removing his wings will leave him flightless. Though it'll take time for his mana to drain and he's far too fast and tough to catch off guard, really his only weakness is his own hubris. He doesn't take things too seriously and often over looks important matters. Such as why would he bring a human child into a literal den of lions? How is he close to the original Demon King Derkila? Why doesn't Iruma just show "Alikred" to his grandpa, I mean Sullivan seems to know a lot about the Ring of Gluttony. Like how "Sabro Sabnock" mistook it for the Ring of Solomon from the Demon Kings prophecy sc-
OOOOOOOOOOOh, I think I just figured it out.
IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTLE[]
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHH”
A deathing shriek echoes through the radio waves as all the sinners and imps shudder in fear to the Radio Demons latest broadcast before it is rendered silent.
“Well folks that is all the entertainment I have for today, and what a showman our guest was. Haven’t heard that kind of screaming since 1913’s railroad crash HA HA”, he chuckles to himself. Alastor says his farewells to his audience and shuts off the radio for the night.
As he gets up with his cane and heads for the exit, the top of his radio tower blasts clean off. Unfazed, Alastor turns his head, smiling at the assailant dressed in purple hovering above. Glaring at the man in red, Sullivan enters the destroyed tower making his presence known.
“Apologies for the sudden entrance, but that demons soul you took is a friend of mine. And I would like it back”.
“Its often rude for a fellow demon dressed like yourself to show up without presenting names”, Alastor calmly replies back.
“Of course, I am Lord Sullivan. And who may you be”?
“Alastor, pleasure to meet you. Quite the pleasure. Unfortunately for the friend you ask for, he is no longer with us sadly, as he just sang his last tune over my show”.
Understandably pissed off, Sullivan punches Alastor straight downward through his tower destroying it completely and splitting the Hotel it was connected to in half burying Alastor underneath all that rubble. The surroundings rumble and black tentacles burst through clearing the way. Standing on one of the Eldritch appendages is Alastor, still smiling but clearly pissed.
“It appears I have to teach you kind sir a lesson”.
“And what would that be”, Sullivan asked calmly.
“Don’t FUCK, with the Radio Demon”, Alastor distortedly replies and launches a barrage of tentacles at his new enemy to crush him.
Evading the attacks, Sullivan blocks the attack and even uses Factal to make the tentacles weigh down smooshing to paste. He then darts towards Alastor but is caught in a shadow warp, teleporting Sullivan in darkness. He is spat out in the middle of the city of Pride, sinners run in terror from the two demons as Alastor reappears from his shadow.
“Taking the battle out in the open? How uncivil of you”, Sullivan criticizes him as he telekinetically lifts Alastor into the sky.
“Well, you do have high standards for your reputation. So I want to see how far the third great fairs when states are on the table”, Alastor replies with black tentacles spewing from his back keep him from reaching any higher.
Sullivan retaliates by flicking a pebble at his opponent. Following the small rock, a shadowy dragon carries it at high-speeds, hitting Alastor off his tentacles and into the sky bringing him into a new battlefield. Unfazed, Alastor just rolled with it but is caught by surprise when Sullivan uses his magic to start flinging Alastor around like a ragdoll. Getting annoyed, Alastor conjures minions, sets them on fire and throws them at Sullivan keeping him distracted by the explosive kamikaze’s. Tossing the little shadow demons aside in a spirling show, Sullivan is caught off guard when his ankle gets grabbed by a tentacle and it pulls him into the ground, slamming him around giving Alastor the chance to warp down giggling to himself.
“My my m’lord, you’re pulling such a grand display. Surely you have something you’d want to say to the folks at home watching this”?
Grabbing his capture, Sullivan burns the tentacle in purple fire and walks through the charred remains. “Only this. Don’t try this at home kids, the two demons fighting in public are professional entertainers of fiction whom cannot get hurt. However you can, please stay safe”.
After the 4th wall break, Sullivan snaps his fingers and the earth changes into stalagmites' attempt to impale Alastor. The Radio Demon wraps his shadow into a barrier surrounding him and he expands it obliterating the stone spears. Sullivan retaliates by breaking Alastors barrier catching him off guard and flying through the city, dragging the demon's face across the pavement before tossing him into a building. He then points at the building and like commanding it in a direction, he flatten the building to paste and then grinded it to dust.
“Love the new site of a luxury home, place to escape it all”, the familary voice from behind catches Sullivan off guard.
He responds by igniting his hand with the elements and slashes at Alastor, who evades all of his attacks, still smirking through it all.
“A persistent one aren’t you? If you miss your friend this much, I could arrange a get together that could last for eternity”, he says with a charm in his distorted voice.
Not falling for it, “I’ve just about had enough of your attitude. NOW STOP”!
Sullivan’s tone changes and so does the environment. Alastor could feel the pressure, as his body stood perfectly still, unable to move.
“You don’t seem to understand the situation you gotten yourself into”, a deep echoing growl comes from Sullivan. Then a dark shadowy monster grabs Alastor holding him in place as it catches on fire, burning the two in a bright powerful display.
“If you just let the souls go, you would’ve left unscathed. Now it appears you’ll be made an example of”.
Suddenly, glyphs appear over the distorted perspective as a figure darkens the center flames with a hellish sneer. Two elongated arms climbout, as an antler demon emerges standing over 50 storeys towering over Sullivan giving him a startle.
“And you seem to not understand, who you’re up against”, a statical radio broadcast from Alastors once sharp fanged mouth, as his radio dialed eyes leer down at his foe. “I’m not some second rate impish little plaything. I am the Radio Demon, and I am here to tear your soul apart for all of Hell to hear”.
The demonic titan unleashes all of his tentacles spewing from his back after Sullivan who simply evades them with his demon wings. Levitating building remains, Sullivan sets them all a blaze and launches the rubble at Alastor who swats them away. Getting the advantage, Alastor grabs Sullivan and squeezes the demon lord with devilish delight.
Roaring in rage, “That is it”! Sullivan bursts out of Alastors hand and telekinetically lifts him into the air.
“I have had enough of YOU”, his last words to Alastor wraps the demon with a shadowy serpent and the two crash into the city destroying everything in a bright explosion. The smoke clears revealing its winner, an exhausted old demon slowly landing on the decimated landscape.
“Its…it is finished”, he calmly catches his breath only to lose it to an impalement from a cane piercing through his chest from the end. Glancing over his shoulder, Sullivan see’s the familiar curse smiley piercing his mind. Alastor emerges from the shadows lifting the helpless old demon whispering into his ear while a demonic shadow mouth surrounds and swallows Sullivan whole.
“I couldn’t agree more, Lord Sullivan. Just like all grand shows, this must come to its end”.
“IRUUUUUUUMAAA”, Sullvians voice echoes throughout the radio broadcast before it was cut off. Alastor is found sitting in his radio tower, good as new, and smirking at the reader of this Death Battle Fanon.
“Well that was fun, hope you had a good read and stay safe dear viewers. There are more fun battles to come in the next year”.
“SEE YOU SOON”.
K.O.[]
What a hellish battle
Lord Sullivan is one of the most powerful demons in the Netherworld and his comparison with the other demons in his universe makes sense. Iruma's Walter Park feat clocked in 4.703 megatons of TNT, but since Sullivan magic is 6 times more powerful than that, that would mean he has the destructive capability of 28.218 megatons of TNT. Enough to wipe an entire city off the map. And with his reaction speed to catch arrows going Mach 1, this should be an easy win, if Sullivan had a way to kill Alastor permenatly.
Alastor had a counter for Sullivans magic by being a Sinner, an immortal soul that cannot die except from angelic weapons. Sullivan could manipulate Alastors mind making him forget or send him away, but it wouldn't be effective and Alastor could just portal himself back. And for Sullivans menacing aura, its a terrifying ability that can easily halt any demon, however most low ranked demons have been able to resist its effects meaning Alastor could do the same. And more importantly, Alastor has tricked and manipulated various demons with his deceitful mind and toppled down Overlords who're just as powerful as Sullivan.
This show was just insane and demonic, better tune out for now.
