- The connections between Akuma and Yujiro Hanma are that they are overpowered red-haired martial artists who frequently desire strong opponents. They have prominent feuds with their relatives who also happen the series' main protagonists (With Akuma feuding with his adoptive nephew Ryu, and Yujiro feuding with his biological son Baki respectively), both also encourage these individuals to grow stronger and embrace the dark side of their abilities (Those abilities being the Satsui no Hado and Demon Back respectively), and they both harmed someone close them (With Akuma brutalizing Ryu's adoptive father Gouken, and Yujiro killing Baki's mother Emi respectively).
