Description[]

Introduction[]
Boomstick: Muscle... Might... Power... More Muscles, it's the goddam 80's and buffer you are, the more an absolute badass you are.
Wiz: And which better combatants to represent such a decade than these two martial goliaths with world conquest on their sights.
Boomstick: Akuma Shogun, the Devil Chojin's final assassin...
Wiz: And Raoh, the Conqueror of the Century's End.
Boomstick: He's Wiz, and I'm Boomstick.
Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armour and skills to find out who would win... a Death Battle.
Akuma Shogun Wrestles Death Battle Into Submission![]
Wiz: Perfection... To many, just a word. To others, an unobtainable concept, but to a select, few, this single word is law. Those few are the Perfect Origin. A group of Chojin who were saved millions of years ago by a descended God who wanted to prove that these mortals could become as strong as the Gods themselves by becoming perfect.
Boomstick: And boy were they obsessed with perfection, they were out there forming armies, killing people by the hundreds and hell, forcing their own men to die if they lost once. Needless to say, it kinda gave these perfectionists an ego that may have led to them wanting to own the entire world and mould it in their image.
Wiz: But among these few, there was one who rebelled, a single Chojin who viewed this "perfection" as arrogance and left his post to find further in strength in the mortal world. This Chojin was Goldman.
Boomstick: Wiz, I've been meaning to ask, but what does "Chojin" even mean?
Wiz: Superman.
Boomstick: Ohhh, I get it... Yeah, Chojin rolls off the tongue better... Well, Old Goldman was doing well on the surface, finding other people to train and even making a clan with his younger brother, Silverman.
Wiz: Everything was peaceful until a child would ask the brothers, who would win in a fight between them. What a terrible idea, who would even ask that?
Boomstick: I have no idea, but whoever they were, they probably are really smart and handsome, unlike this dumb kid who ruined, pretty much everything. The fight got so bad that God himself said "Hey, here's some swords so we get a winner" and the two brothers cut each others' heads off instantly.
Wiz: As a tribute, the Gold and Silver Masks that the two brothers wore would be taken and placed on display as a symbol of peace.
Boomstick: Yeah I don't think that was the moral they should have taken from that fight...
Wiz: However, Goldman, whose spirit resided in his mask wasn't happy with the outcome of their fight.
Boomstick: Big bro Goldman didn't like losing to his little brother so he made a deal with, of course, Satan, for a body that would let him get even, so long as Goldman worked for him as a part of his Devil Chojin army, an army of Chojin who are kinda just evil for fun.
Wiz: This single deal would raise the Devil Chojin from a non-threat to one of the biggest dangers to the universe. Goldman was granted six Devil Chojin who would become his armour, fully transforming him into one of the biggest dangers to the universe, Akuma Shogun.
Background:
- Real/Former Name: Goldman
- Aliases: Perfect First, The Devil Chojin's Final Assassin.
- Age: Hundreds of Millions of Years old.
- Height: 220cm/7'2".
- Weight: 162kg/357lbs.
- Leader of the Devil Chojin and Former member of the Perfect Origin.
- Right hand to Satan himself.
- Older brother of Silverman and distant ancestor of Kinnikuman.
- Based on the reader-submitted design called Vikingman.
- Holder of one of the oldest grudges in anime history.
Boomstick: And with a name like that, you better believe Akuma Shogun was one major ass-kicker. Back when he was Goldman, he was already one of the strongest Chojin around but as Akuma Shogun, he basically became unstoppable.
Wiz: Akuma Shogun is strong enough that most Chojin can't even scratch him, even one's that are considered to be the world's best. And all of this is helped by his hundreds of millions of years worth of training, Akuma Shogun is a master at the greatest martial art in the Kinnikuman, wrestling.
Boomstick: And he's sure good at it, he knows chokehold, suplexes, Hell, his Hell's Windmill is just a Romero Special with a twist where he rolls around like Sonic and throws the poor bastard at the nearest wall, man, anime's really fun.
Wiz: But none of these moves were good enough to be called a finishing move, so Akuma Shogun, after studying the bodies of his opponent would develop the Hell's Nine Point Seal. The Hell's Nine Point Seal is a set of moves where Akuma Shogun strikes the nine pressure points located on a person's body, each one hit would make that part of the body useless as well as weaken the opponent's strength and ability to think. The last point being on the neck of a person, Akuma Shogun uses the Hell's Guillotine, a wrestling finishing move where Akuma Shogun throws the opponent into the air before pressing his knee against their neck as they fall, crushing it against the mat.
Boomstick: Damn, and all this time I've been thinking wrestling was fake but now we're getting some real Shonen shit. And Akuma Shogun is so smart that he can correctly tell what a new wrestling move is just by looking at the injuries a guy had got making the wrestling move.
Abilities:
- Perfect Chojin Physiology
- Peak Wrestling Skills
- Hollow Armour Body
- Devil Scope
- Hell's Nine Point Seal
- Hardness Levels
- Hardness Level 0: Snake Body
- Hardness Level 10: Diamond Body
- Hardness Level 10: Sharp, Lonsdaleite Power
Wiz: Akuma Shogun can do anything a normal Chojin can do but far better, he can fly, increase his size to the size of a building and survive in the vacuum of space. But that's not all, with his Devil Scope, Akuma Shogun can examine an opponent, seeing their power source and even the spirits that aid whoever he's fighting.
Boomstick: And that's not even his strongest ability, he also can get really, really hard.
Wiz: Of course, you said it like that...
Boomstick: With his Hardness Levels, Akuma Shogun here can increase his raw density, letting his body become as hard as a diamond, adding more weight and durability to each of his punches, or become as soft as a soft thing, letting him escape from wrestling holds. There's a dick joke in here but I can't find it.
Wiz: Speaking of... Missing organic body parts... Akuma Shogun's armour houses none of that. His armour is an empty husk and even if it were to break or fall apart, it can just be pulled back together good as new instantly.
Boomstick: That's except for that shiny Golden Mask of his, you hit that hard enough, he'll pass out, hit it harder, it breaks and kills him. It really doesn't help that if you hit him hard enough when he's hard, he'll go soft on you, losing the ability for a while. Good thing Akuma Shogun is enough of a badass to prevent that, usually.
Wiz: All of this skill and power would be put to the test when Akuma Shogun came face to face with Justice Chojin, the protectors of the Earth and the man who would beat him, Kinnikuman, who would piledrive Akuma Shogun's golden mask and knock him out cold.
Boomstick: That guy! Him! You're telling me that pig-face dumbass beat him?!
Feats:
- Tanked a tackle from Kinnikuman, Terryman, Brocken Jr. and Robin Mask at the same time.
- Overpowered and nearly killed Buffaloman, the Chojin with a Chojin Power of 10,000,000.
- Reacted to attacks from Brocken Jr. who can dodge rays of light from Prisman.
- Easily killed Mirageman and Abyssman, two of the strongest Chojin to exist.
- Ultimately defeated The Man, the leader of the Perfect Origin and one of the strongest Chojin to ever exist.
Wiz: You shouldn't casually underestimate Kinnikuman, with a flick of his wrist, he can punch a Chojin so hard that they fly to the Moon and break a chunk off of it. Even on the low end, that would be enough to destroy a continent.
Boomstick: I'm surprised you didn't bring up that time that Kinnikuman took an attack from Neptuneman and Big the Budo who used their own magnet power to reverse the rotation of the Earth, a feat that would be strong enough to destroy our own Moon.
Wiz: I was going to mention that... Are... Are you reading my script?
Boomstick: Not only that, but Akuma Shogun could react to attacks from Brocken Jr. who could dodge beams of light from Prisman.
Wiz: That's right, now give me back the script.
Boomstick: Well losing to old pig-face might've been bad for old Shogun in the short term, but seeing a young hero shatter his expectations, and the rest of his body, sure proved him right.
Weaknesses:
- Can be killed if Golden Mask is destroyed.
- Hardness Levels can be disabled if he is struck too hard.
- His body will form if he feels a strong sense of Justice.
- Is generally arrogant.
Wiz: Kinnikuman, in order to beat him, had to tap into one of the most powerful energy sources in his world, Friendship.
Boomstick: As dumb as it sounds, this Friendship power was all the proof he needed to say that stepping down to the mortal world was a good idea.
Wiz: To Akuma Shogun, a single Chojin beating him with a new source of power that escaped him and his Perfect Origin allies was all he needed to see to drive Akuma Shogun to challenge The Man himself, the leader of the Perfect Origin and by using his bond, Akuma Shogun used a small portion of Friendship Power to beat him, freeing the Chojin World from the reign of those who had control over it, allowing the current generation of the world to seize control of it instead of having it be controlled by those ancient beings who are out of touch with them.
Boomstick: Man, maybe this Akuma Shogun is a good guy after all.
Wiz: And by "current generation", I mean his evil Devil Chojin who he wants to take over the world.
Boomstick: Eh, that's heroic enough for me.
"Akuma Shogun: I found a new hope in leading the new generation of Chojin down their rightful path. And the system you've put upon this world's standing in their way! So I won't stop until it's been completely demolished!"
Raoh Conquers Death Battle With His Bare Hands![]
Boomstick: Nuclear war, it's kinda good at ruining literally everything, from regular wars to, you know, the entire world.
Wiz: After some completely idiotic generals decided to use nukes to end a war, most of life on the planet ended with it. The Century's End had begun.
Boomstick: And man did it suck, sure if you're one of those weirdos who want to murder and pillage the neighbourhood while wearing discount sports gear and a mohawk, great time. But for everyone else, dying of starvation, thirst or you know, the nuclear bomb that fell on you kinda sucks.
Wiz: But to others, this was a chance, an ideal time to have their ideologies implanted onto the bare world. Many would try but all would fall before the fists of the mighty Ken-Oh, or as his friends and family would call him, Raoh.
Background:
- Real/Former Name: Raoh
- Aliases: Ken-Oh, King of Fist
- Age: 20's
- Height: 210cm/6'11"
- Weight: 145kg/320 lbs
- Practitioner of Hokuto Shinken.
- Older brother of Kenshiro, Toki and Jagi, Younger brother of Kaioh.
- Conqueror of Century's End and Leader of his own army.
- Has an Elephant-sized horse.
Boomstick: Raoh was an orphan who had a completely normal childhood, he and his brother were raised in the land of Ashura, a land of warriors who kill the weak, were shipped off to the mainland where they were adopted by Ryuuken, a martial arts master, who pushed him off a cliff and told him to climb up or die, which he did while carrying his bro.
Wiz: After that, Raoh was formally adopted by the Ryuuken and trained in the deadliest martial arts in the world, Hokuto Shinken.
Boomstick: Ahhh, Hokuto Shinken, what better way to raise your kids than teach them how to push someone's literal buttons until they literally explode.
Wiz: Hokuto Shinken specialises in pressure point combat to achieve various effects, these effects can vary from forcing a person's body to move against their will, usually until they die, erasing memories, putting them to sleep or the previous mentioned bodily explosion, either instantly or after a period of time. Raoh has also developed a technique that allows him to negate the effects of pressure points on his own body and to have him instinctively counterattack an opponent without needing to think.
Boomstick: Raoh, being the little psychopath that he was, naturally was all down for the murder martial arts, however, there was one catch. Only one person can be a master of Hokuto Shinken and all other trainees have to have their fists smashed and minds erased of all of their training, which sounds harsh but after how Raoh turned out, it was for the better.
Wiz: Raoh was unfortunately not chosen as the successor because Ryuuken saw the murderous intent in Raoh's heart and decided maybe he should be stopped. However, after a sudden heart attack, Raoh managed to kill his adoptive father with his bare hands.
Boomstick: After killing his dad, Raoh thought "Man Hokuto Shinken is great but why punch someone a hundred times when I can punch them once, really hard" and made his own version of Hokuto Shinken, Go no Ken, which is just about punching someone to death with his big muscles because who needs skill and technique when you can push your fist forward and instantly kill a man.
Abilities:
- Go no Ken
- Pressure point strikes
- Powerful chi blasts
- Tenryu Kokyu Ho
- Muso Tensei
Wiz: Now, Go no Ken still allows Raoh to hit pressure points but it focuses more on sheer strength as well as allowing Raoh to shoot out beams of his own chi at the opponent. It was this power and more that allowed Raoh to conquer the destroyed world because no one could really stop him.
Boomstick: And he means that Raoh is so strong that pretty much all fighters left in the same Hell as him were pretty screwed, including Jagi, his little shit brother who was able to survive being hit by nuclear bombs which were able to destroy entire countries, and Jagi's an actual chump when compared to Raoh.
Wiz: Raoh can punch a hole through a thick cloud with a tiny fraction of his chi blasts and is comparable to his younger brother, Kenshiro who is able to split the sky above him, just with the shockwaves created by punching another guy, not even the clouds, just the person on the ground level. And Raoh can always triple his strength and speed by using Hokuto Shinken with the Tenryu Kokyu Ho technique, allowing Raoh to use the full power of his body.
Boomstick: And Raoh's really fast too, he can fight Juza who could dodge attacks from Garuda whose attacks are officially stated to be light-speed.
Wiz: Through his sheer might and brutality, Raoh became feared across the wasteland, everyone either bowing to his feet or dying in his wake. Until his own brother and the person who was chosen to be the successor of Hokuto Shinken instead of Raoh, Kenshiro stood before him. The two would come to blows, constantly pushing each other to greater and greater heights.
Feats:
- Even when dying, blasted a hole in the clouds with a blast of chi.
- Is vastly stronger than Jagi who survived country-sized nuclear explosions.
- Defeated Kenshiro, Toki, Rei and Juza.
- Fought on par with Juza who can dodge attacks stated to be light.
- Was considered to be comparable to Kaioh whose mere aura threatened the world around him.
Boomstick: Raoh is a beast when it comes to combat, but when fighting when he's fighting against someone who is just as strong as he is and he can't hit their pressure points, he struggles badly in a fight like how he couldn't beat Souther, one of his rivals who had his pressure points in a different place than most people so Raoh didn't know where to attack him.
Weaknesses:
- Struggles to fight those without pressure points.
- Is generally arrogant.
- Lack of mercy led to his destruction.
Wiz: Ultimately, Raoh's fall wouldn't be because of any physical weakness or lack of skill, but instead an emotional weakness that hampered him for his entire life.
Boomstick: It wasn't until one of their last fights, when Raoh had almost taken over the world, did Raoh see why Kenshiro was the chosen successor, the kind heart he had which he needed to use the greatest technique of Hokuto Shinken that no other Hokuto Shinken had ever used before which allowed Kenshiro to finally fight back against Raoh.
Wiz: Raoh saw what Kenshiro was truly capable of due to his kindness and after Raoh began to empathize with Kenshiro's fiance did he achieve the same power, allowing Raoh to use Muso Tensei, the power of nothingness. With Muso Tensei, Raoh becomes completely intangible like a spirit, becomes stronger and can communicate with the spirits of Raoh's allies and enemies, being able to use their fighting style and techniques as well as making Raoh stronger.
Boomstick: And so Raoh and Kenshiro had their final battle, ending with Raoh using all of his raw badassery to battle against his little brother but it was no use.
Wiz: Raoh may have stood as a tyrant that destroyed everything that resisted his will, however, after this duel, Raoh was left as nothing more than a man who allowed himself to perish with his final act being to launch the last of his strength into the sky. In death, he used his final moment as a showcase of the immense power he possessed in life.
"Raoh: Of this life...I have not a single regret!"
Pre-fight[]
Wiz: Alright the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities. Let's end this debate once and for all.
Boomstick: It's time for a DEATH BATTLEEEEE!!!
Fight[]
The scene opens on a barren desert wasteland, the only signs of life are a small army marching toward what appears to be a village made up of collapsed buildings from the 20th century. This army is led by a large man, Raoh, sitting on an even larger black horse.
The army continues its march, however, as they came closer and closer to the village, a man wearing similar clothes to Raoh's soldier was walking toward them, clutching a bloodied arm and walking with a limp. The second he was close to Raoh, he collapsed to his knees.
Raoh's Soldier: "Lord Ken-Oh..."
The dying soldier muttered loud enough for Raoh to hear.
Raoh: "Why have you abandoned your mission? You and your men were tasked with taking control of that village."
Raoh asked, malice in his voice that would surely instil the fear of death into anyone, however, the person in front of him was already at death's door.
Raoh's Soldier: "It was horrible, we had all of the citizens under our control, but then... A giant in silver armour appeared... He destroyed us, it was a massacre... He let me live and told me to tell my master where he was."
This piqued Raoh's interest.
Raoh: 'Silver Armour... Could it be that the Last Nanto General has appeared to challenge me...'
Raoh turned his head away from the soldier who was minutes away from death to the army following him.
Raoh: "It appears there is someone who dares challenge my position as Emperor over this barren world, I shall personally eradicate him! And all of your jobs are to watch, analyse every detail of their last moments and spread details of it across the world to make sure everyone who still resists me knows who they are up against!"
After Raoh determined filled speech, everyone in the army cheered as Raoh raised his fist into the air.
Raoh rode his horse toward the village, everyone in the army running after him, some failing to keep up. Soon the army would raid the tattered village. Raoh would see the corpses of his men over the environment, each one either having their body crushed and embedded into the walls or ground, not a single cut on any of them.
Raoh: "No Nanto Seiken practitioner would kill an opponent this way... Just who is challenging me?"
Raoh pondered as his horse guided him closer and closer to the village, the number of bodies increasing as they got closer to the village centre. At this point, Raoh's men's determination was fading fast. In the distance, Raoh could see the biggest pile of corpses right in the middle of the village with a large figure wearing silver armour sitting on top of them like a throne, his arms folded and his gaze looking down until he heard the army approach him.
Akuma Shogun: "Are you the one these men call "Ken-Oh"?"
Akuma Shogun's head raised to meet Raoh's, his calm sitting position never faltering once.
Raoh in response got off of his horse and walked toward the figure sitting before him.
Raoh: "I am Ken-Oh, the emperor of the greatest army this world has and will ever know, now... What fool dares to stand in my way?"
Akuma Shogun leaps from his sitting position and right in front of Raoh, the two's eyes were level with each other and they were less than a foot apart from each other.
Akuma Shogun: "I am Akuma Shogun, the almighty leader of the Devil Chojin. After the world fell to ruin, I decided to personally start the conquest of the world in place of my Devil Chojin subordinates while they recover from the injuries inflicted upon them by the end of the world."
Raoh's eyes narrowed and his already intense expression grew even more fierce. It was the first time he had ever heard of any "Devil Chojin" but now wasn't the time to be surprised by a new opponent he had to face.
Raoh: "This world does not belong to any Devils, it belongs to us humans. We who have struggled to survive in Hell are more worthy than anyone else."
Raoh said back, not willing to back down from his mysterious opponent.
Akuma Shogun: "I will show you and your entire army the might of a Chojin who is willing to face the entire world!"
Neither side was intimidated by the other. The tension grew as the seconds passed, the two staring fiercely at each other. Akuma Shogun's expression couldn't be seen by anyone, however, everyone in Raoh's army knew underneath his mask, his face would look just as hated filled as Raoh's.
Within the blink of an eye, both Raoh and Akuma Shogun's arms moved from their sides and toward each, catching each other's hands in the ultimate test of raw brute force.
Fight!
The two giants force themselves against each other, neither of their bodies moving despite the pressure they're exerting on each other with only the ground beneath their feet moving.
In an instant, Akuma Shogun changed from pushing Raoh away from him to moving him to the left, Raoh's feet slipping away from the ground as Akuma Shogun spun him around, lifting him up off the ground. Despite the intense speeds Raoh's body was being spun around at, he refused to let go, tightening his grip on Akuma Shogun's hands with the intent to break them.
Suddenly, Akuma Shogun would swing his arms up, throwing Raoh into the sky, his grip slipping at the last moment. Raoh was sent hurtling through the air. Raoh wasn't deterred by this, instead of panicking, he instead chose to use the momentum he would gain to deliver a powerful punch right at Akuma Shogun's chest. Meanwhile, Akuma Shogun stood there, his head facing toward his flying opponent, waiting for the right moment to strike.
Soon, Raoh would fall above Akuma Shogun, his arm ready to deliver a fatal blow. Just as Raoh threw his punch, Akuma Shogun stepped to the right and leapt up, ramming his head into Raoh's stomach.
Raoh pushed off of Akuma Shogun, grabbing his stomach. Raoh wasn't hit too hard but the sensation of pain felt familiar.
Raoh: "This feeling... You hit my pressure points...?"
Raoh grunted in surprise, clutching his stomach as he stood before his opponent.
Akuma Shogun: "I trust you've seen already just how outclassed you are..."
Akuma Shogun stated, running toward Raoh to deliver another blow to his pressure points. As soon as he made it to Raoh, instead of attacking his front, Akuma Shogun leapt over him, ready to grab him from behind and suplex him, however, without even needing to think, Raoh's body bent forward and his leg shot out toward Akuma Shogun's chest, kicking him so hard that small cracks formed in his armour and launching him away.
Raoh: "I'm not nearly as weak as you think."
Raoh used the distance to his advantage, he pulled his arm back and pushed it at Akuma Shogun. Within seconds, Akuma Shogun felt an intense amount of pressure surrounding and trying to crush his body, the cracks that were already inflicted on his armour began to spread. When Akuma Shogun raised his arms to block the invisible stream of chi, his armoured fists and arms started to chip away.
Akuma Shogun: "You still have some fight left in you... Good."
Akuma Shogun kicked against the ground, launching himself against the blast of chi while spinning and right at Raoh, building up momentum. In no time, Akuma Shogun had closed the distance and had latched onto Raoh's front, hooking his arms around his body before bending backwards to suplex him head first into the ground. Raoh moved his arms to the ground, catching himself before his head smashed against the dirt.
Raoh: "These parlour wrestling tricks are beneath me!"
Raoh shouted, building up power in his arms and tried to force his head away from the ground. Akuma Shogun was struggling to push him down.
Akuma Shogun: "In honour of your sheer perseverance, I will show you the true terror of a Devil. Hardness Level 5!"
All of a sudden, Raoh physically felt Akuma Shogun's body become heavier, his body now shined more than it did before. This new surge of power was enough to overpower Raoh's attempt to save himself. The top of Raoh's head was crushed into the hardened rock ground of the wasteland, soon a small pool of blood would leak from the impact site.
The two fights held their pose, neither moving for a moment, making all of Raoh's supporters begin to believe that their fight had already ended.
Raoh: "You are far mightier than I was expecting, however,... I am Ken-Oh, he who shall bring a new age to our world! I refuse to die to anyone, not even the Devil himself shall have my dying soul!"
With a roar from Raoh, the armour coating his body was blown away by the sheer pressure, even Akuma Shogun was barely able to hold on. But this power difference would be bridged.
Akuma Shogun: "You can increase your power? You might think that will help you, but I have a power beyond this meagre boost. Hardness Level 10: Diamond Body!"
Just as suddenly as Raoh had gained the advantage, Akuma Shogun's power also increased, his armour shined before but now it was practically a reflective mirror, the bright sun above the two fighters shined off of his body and nearly blinded the entire army, forcing them to shield their eyes. Raoh kept his eyes on Akuma Shogun, entirely willing to lose his sight to end his opponent's life.
Raoh could feel more weight get added and the pressure applied to his head was becoming agonising. Raoh moved his hands to where Akuma Shogun was holding onto him, quickly striking both fists as hard as he could, making sure to hit the exact area where his pressure points would be. When he struck those pressure points, Akuma Shogun's arms would open up willingly, freely letting him go even if Akuma Shogun didn't want him to, however, that didn't happen.
Raoh: "Why won't your arms yield to me?"
Raoh knew where this moment reminded him of. His battles against Souther. He too was never affected by Hokuto Shinken's, Raoh would learn this was because Souther was born with a medical condition where his body's internal organs and therefore pressure points were reverse, placing them in different areas.
Raoh: "I refuse to make the same mistake twice..."
Raoh moved his arms to his head, shielding it as used how close both he and Akuma Shogun were to listen, closing his eyes and listening for Akuma Shogun's heartbeat, checking if he also had the same medical condition. The armour may have made it difficult but with enough concentration, he would find it. Or so he thought...
Raoh: "He has no heartbeat..."
This was surprising to him, Raoh was certain this was true though. He could hear everything around him from the cracking and vibrations of the Earth beneath them to the quiet mumurrings of each member of his army but he couldn't hear Akuma Shogun's heart, his mouth move nor his lungs breaths.
Raoh changed his tactics fast, instead of aiming for Akuma Shogun's hands, he would aim for his head. Raoh would move both his hands at Akuma Shogun's face, ready to blast it to Hell and back.
Raoh: "Tenshō Honretsu!"
Raoh yelled out, an incredibly concertraited blast of chi shooting out of his hands directly at Akuma Shogun's helmet, the sheer force blasting Akuma Shogun away. Raoh heard a loud shattering sound echo out.
Raoh was finally able to stand up, being able to see the thick pool of compressed blood that had leaked from his head. He then turned his head toward Akuma Shogun who was lying metres away. To many people, this would have been a sign that Raoh had killed his opponent but Raoh wasn't that naive, he didn't even know what type of being he was facing.
Akuma Shogun: "I believe congratulations are in order..."
Akuma Shogun sat up, the horned mask and the shoulder guard covering his head had been blown to dust, revealing a golden blinking mask underneath it. Both Raoh and the army's eyes all were staring at the same thing, where there should have been flesh and blood was nothing, the golden mask was floating just above the shoulders.
Raoh: "I knew when I couldn't hear a heartbeat that you were no living creature. I suppose Devil is a fitting title for you... Now I know how to end you... That mask must be destroyed!"
Akuma Shogun just stood there unphased.
Akuma Shogun: "But do you have the power to do it? All this time, you have been exerting power in order to figure out how to kill me, you've almost run out entirely. The fact that you can even stand is a feat of an immense will. My armour may have cracked, but so has the top of your head."
Raoh's face changed into a mixture of sorrow and anger, his arms sank to his side as he tried to gather as much strength as possible for one final assault as the devil walked toward him.
Akuma Shogun: "As a tribute to your valiant effort, I'll personally end you with all my might. Not a single part of your body will remain unbroken."
As soon as Akuma Shogun reached Raoh, all Raoh could do. These punches maintained all of the finesse of a seasoned martial artist, but lacked any power that could save him. Akuma Shogun began his brutal assault on Raoh, first, he picked Raoh up and slammed his legs down onto his knees then hooked his arms around Raoh's arms before squeezing them, the sound of bones breaking echoed throughout the wasteland. Akuma Shogun then lift Raoh up, holding him above his head before throwing him down to the ground so hard he bounced, Akuma Shogun then gripped Raoh's hand tightly, eight of the Hell's Nine Point Seal had been struck as Akuma Shogun readied to his the last one.
The entire army watched, helpless to interfere, even the one's who only pledged a loyalty to Raoh out of fear were extremely saddened, seeing the peak of humanity being brutalised in front of them.
Akuma Shogun: "Let this be a lesson to you mortals, us Devils are to be feared and respected!"
Akuma Shogun then spun Raoh around throwing him high into the air before leaping after him, once on top of him, Akuma Shogun pressed his hardened shin against Raoh's neck, riding him down to the ground in a move that would surely decapitate him.
Akuma Shogun: "Hell's Guillotine!"
As Akuma Shogun yelled out so loud that even the heaven and stars watched, a spark of life appeared in Raoh's eyes. He stared up into the sky, watching the clouds move when his sight focused, he saw something, a sign that would mean nothing to anyone else but to a practitioner of Hokuto Shinken, it was a sign that would inspire bravery into even the most cowardly fighters. The stars of the Hokuto Shichi Sei shinning so bright that even the sun looked dim by comparison.
Raoh: "I... I can't... I won't... I WON'T LOSE!!!"
All of a sudden, Raoh's near-dead body vanished from underneath Akuma Shogun's leg disappearing from his sight completely, Akuma Shogun crashed to the ground soon after, sending a shockwave across the area and caving in the ground where he landed. What should have been Raoh's execution failed completely.
Akuma Shogun stood up, completely confused as to where Raoh had gone and how he escaped. Akuma Shogun looked around him, the dust settling to allow him and the army to see Raoh.
The sight shocked and amazed them all, Raoh was standing up, despite having all of his limbs broken and all of the pressure points on his body that would kill him struck. Raoh stood firm as if his life-threatening injuries had never occurred.
Akuma Shogun: "This sensation... This feeling... Could he too have the Friendship Power that us Chojin have?"
Akuma Shogun activated his Devil Scope, wanting to confirm if this was true. What he saw confirmed everything he thought, next to Raoh stood several other fierce-looking men. Toki, Souther, Ryuga, Juza and Fudo, each one standing next to Raoh and staring at Akuma Shogun, all of their actions were one.
Within a blink of an eye, Raoh moved from several metres away from Akuma Shogun to right past him. A slash mark appeared on the cheek of Akuma Shogun's golden mask with a small amount of blood spilling out of it.
Akuma Shogun: "Extraordinary... Truly Extraordinary... I never expected any human would be able to stand up to my might."
Raoh spoke up, his voice was fully calm to meet Akuma Shogun's amazement.
Raoh: "As I have told, I am the emperor of this world! And I shall kneel to no one!"
Akuma Shogun: "Then allow me to greet you in kind, my Friendship Power may be a staunch imitation but it should prove to be enough for your last test. Hardness Level 10: Sharp! Lonsdaleite Power!"
Akuma Shogun and Raoh yelled at each other. Akuma Shogun's body began to glow again, but this time it wasn't from a shimmer of the light around him but instead a radiating light from his own body.
The two were now at the peak of their own existences, neither of them would ever be able to replicate this level of strength again and only one of them would be leaving the battle alive.
The two titans of power rushed at each other, instead of going for a technique or special move, they would let their fists and raw might decide who would win. Their fists would crash into each other with the intention to end the other's life, Raoh's already bloody body spouted out more blood and more and more chips appeared in the Golden Mask that was Akuma Shogun's head.
Once a punch was thrown, it would be replaced with a much stronger punch which in turn would be met with an even more powerful punch. These punches came out faster and faster, blitzing speeds that no one in Raoh's army could see but all of them could practically feel each punch connect, shockwaves echoed from each of the impacts their bodies withstood.
Many minutes passed and despite the brutal beatings each of their bodies were taking, neither one of them had been pushed back or even had their legs buckle from the pressure or pain, they were truly titans.
Akuma Shogun's fists moved from punching Raoh trying to repeatedly to chopping at the top of his head, alternating between his left and right arms, this was what made Raoh cease his offence and protect his already bloodied head.
Akuma Shogun: "As a ruler of the world, you must endure the hardships of it, those who are coming for your head, whether it be from those close to you or those who are your mortal enemies. If you are not the best then you will fall and no one will pick you up, I shall drill this into your head the only way you'll understand."
Akuma Shogun lectured as he pummelled Raoh, speaking from literal millions of years of experience guiding the world.
The chops Akuma Shogun kept delivering to Raoh were endless, at this point, Raoh had blocked so many attacks with his arms that parts of the skin had worn away, exposing flesh, nerves and even bones.
Soon, Raoh would catch Akuma Shogun's right arm with both his hands, halting the attack but leaving him wide open for another attack.
Akuma Shogun: "A weakness has appeared in your indomitable will, here!"
Akuma Shogun's left arm was free and it quickly moved toward Raoh's head, ready to split it in two. The left arm moved up to the sky and just as the arm was about to move down, all of the spirits that had surrounded Raoh previously had moved their arms, grabbing onto Akuma Shogun's left arm and holding it in place. Only Akuma Shogun could see how Raoh's allies and rivals had stopped this fatal attack.
Raoh: "Devil, I, Ken-Oh will banish you back to Hell!"
Raoh would throw Akuma Shogun's right arm up, almost throwing him off of his feet. In the split second where Akuma Shogun's left arm was being held away and his right arm was, Raoh would stiffen his fist in a chop and slice at Akuma Shogun's approaching right arm, hitting the forearm so hard that it shattered before the chop moved to the Golden Mask that hosted Akuma Shogun's consciousness.
It connected and everything froze for a moment as crackle sounds echoed out from where Raoh struck. A piece of the mask broke off, falling to the ground and shattering into many pieces.
Akuma Shogun: "You truly have met every expectation I have ever set for you... If anyone else was your opponent then you wouldn't be nearly as damaged as you are, however, that isn't the reality we are in... I am your opponent and we aren't done yet."
Akuma Shogun spoke up, his mask may be partially broken with the hand being embedded into the Golden Mask's right temple and he may have lost an arm but he was speaking as if he hadn't even been injured. Despite how he displayed himself, it was absurdly clear to everyone, both the two fighters and the entire army, that the two were critically injured and in a fight, which meant they were seconds away from death.
Raoh: "There is no need for any more words... Let's settle this."
Raoh stuck his fist out toward Akuma Shogun, waiting for him to accept Raoh's final challenge.
Akuma Shogun: "Yes, this will decide everything... Not just our lives, but the future of this entire world."
Akuma Shogun stuck his left fist out, it may not have been his dominant hand but it was all he had left.
The two's fists brushed against each and they reeled them back before letting out one last yell. For one of them, it would be their last words.
Akuma Shogun: "Leave this world mortal! Hardness Level 10: Sharp! Lonsdaleite Power!"
Raoh: "Kneel before me! Zenrei no Ken!"
The two let out a final battle cry as they slammed their fists into each other in the most powerful clash that this world would ever now, with only a nearby army being the witnesses of the resulting victor.
The two fists slammed into each other's heads, the sheer mass and impact kicked up the dust from the wasteland, shaking the Earth beneath their feet and tearing apart the Heaven above. It obscured what had happened to the army.
Soon the dust would settle and the entire army would see the results of the class.
They would see Akuma Shogun's body laying motionless and the floor and Raoh standing over him. Everyone stopped and stared, taking in what had just happened.
Akuma Shogun: "It appears... You made me kneel..."
Akuma Shogun said, beaten with his mask have cracks all over it.
Raoh, however, was motionless. His body had remained firm in the face of an equal opposing force but all the life from his body had faded, the last strike had killed him and yet, he still stood.
Akuma Shogun struggled to get to his feet, lacking an arm made it much more difficult. He turned to face the army that had dutifully watched the match happen.
Akuma Shogun: "Men! You will tell the world of our battle, of the clash between the Earth and Hell, Mortal and Demon! About how your emperor met his end. I am clear!"
Akuma Shogun yelled out, shouting an order with the same level of determination that he would to his own me.
Raoh's Army: "Yes sir!"
The army roared back in response, they then marched back the way they came from, ready to tell everyone they could about what they saw.
Akuma Shogun was ready to leave, to go back to the Demon World but before he did, he looked at his fallen opponent and would use their last moment together to honour him.
Akuma Shogun: "Farewell Ken-Oh, my greatest adversary."
Results[]
K.O.
Akuma Shogun is seen walking across the wasteland while Raoh's body stays standing where he died.
Boomstick: HOLY SHIT THAT WAS SO MANLY! THE 80'S FUCKING ROCKS!
Wiz: They sure do. Raoh was an incredibly difficult foe for anyone to fight but if there was anyone who could, it was Akuma Shogun. The two were fairly even in some regards but completely different in others. Both Raoh and Akuma Shogun were above those who could dodge light-speed attacks such as Brocken Jr. and Juza, while the exact speed of both feats differs, they wouldn't differ to a meaningful degree which meant that speed as a factor really didn't change anything.
Boomstick: But looking at the raw numbers for their strength, it's pretty obvious that Akuma Shogun was way stronger and more durable.
Wiz: Raoh's best feat is far surpassing Jagi who could easily survive a nuclear explosion with a blast radius bigger than most countries. Sure this happened in a spin-off manga, but Raoh's brother Toki also survived a nuclear bomb in the original manga with no actual injuries aside from some minor radiation poisoning so it is actually consistent.
Boomstick: But Akuma Shogun is able to easily beat down a base form Kinnikuman and take heavy attacks from him too.
Wiz: Kinnikuman, without any amplified stats, was able to casually punch another Chojin to the Moon so hard that it broke off a small portion of the Moon. The strength required to perform such a feat would be hundreds of times greater than anything Raoh or any Fist of the North Star characters have done. Sure Tenryu Kokyu Ho and Muso Tensei could make Raoh stronger and give him more options but the strength difference is too great for it to matter.
Boomstick: And if that wasn't bad enough there's also Kinnikuman taking hits from not-Hulk Hogan and Big the Budo who used their magnet power to stop and reverse the rotation of the Earth.
Wiz: Stopping the Earth's rotation is hard enough but completely reversing it requires such a high level of power that Raoh simply never could, even if there were Fist of the North Star characters who survived being hit by every nuke in the series at the same time.
Boomstick: And Kinnikuman was able to take their magnet power without needing any Friendship Power amp, Akuma Shogun was way stronger even without any hard powers.
Wiz: And to make matters worse, the only way for Raoh to kill Akuma Shogun is by breaking his armour and then breaking his golden mask, something that wouldn't be obvious at first and even if he does break apart the armour, Akuma Shogun could just reform it around him, negating all of Raoh's progress while Raoh's body would be stuck having to deal with any damage he takes.
Boomstick: And that's not even talking about how tough the armour is, it can take multiple strong attacks from people like Kinnikuman and those stronger than him, and that's without him getting hard which makes his armour even harder to break.
Wiz: While Raoh's Hokuto Shinken would allow him to deal with these disadvantages when dealing with most opponents by simply hitting their pressure points and making them explode or do force them to do something that would make them lose the fight, that simply wasn't an option to use against Akuma Shogun.
Boomstick: It's kinda hard to hit the pressure points on a guy who physically lacks a body. Sure Raoh also wasn't affected by Akuma Shogun's pressure point skills since he could make them not work with Hokuto Shinken but Akuma Shogun relies on them far less than any Hokuto Shinken master.
Wiz: There was the possibility that Raoh could make Akuma Shogun's body appear and then use pressure points on the exposed flesh, however, A) that would involve making Akuma Shogun believe in justice and love, something that Raoh wouldn't do in a fight, even if he could, B) even if Akuma Shogun's body does form, Akuma Shogun can quickly rip his body apart and suffer no negative effects before Raoh can hit any of his pressure points, C) it is very unlikely that Raoh would even know that Akuma Shogun was just a mask and armour considering he didn't even know that Souther's internal organs and pressure points were reverse even after multiple years of fighting each other and D) Raoh would still need to break through Akuma Shogun's armour which as previously stated, would be impossible for him to do because of the difference in Raoh and Akuma Shogun's strength and durability.
Boomstick: And that's not even talking about how Raoh has, at best, fifteen to twenty years worth of combat training and experience but Akuma Shogun has been fighting for literal hundreds of millions of years and has beaten thousands, possibly millions of Chojin. Raoh couldn't even wrap his head around half of the amount of shit Akuma Shogun has seen, especially considering the Kinnikuman world has living urinals, literal living asses and a walking solar system.
Wiz: And that's ultimately the point, Raoh is someone who was stuck in his ways, believing in brutality and oppression, much like The Man and when he adopts sympathy and passion, he becomes similar to Kinnikuman, two people Akuma Shogun has fought and knew how to defeat. Almost everything Raoh could throw at Akuma Shogun, he's already seen and faced before. And much like all of those battles he has faced, Akuma Shogun's strength, abilities and martial prowess allowed him to defeat his opponents in the end.
Boomstick: Hand to hand, fist to fist, Raoh was pretty tough but in the end, Raoh had a Hard time Standing up to the Devil.
Wiz: The winner is Akuma Shogun.

Trivia[]
Connections:
- Both are iconic major antagonists from manga series that appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump during the early 1980's.
- Both are known for being tyrants with immense power that very few in the series could defeat with them only being defeated after the main character gets a power boost from the power of empathy and friendship.
- Both have the ability to hit pressure points on an opponent's body, using them to instantly kill their opponents.
- Both are the leaders of the main villainous faction that appears in the first half of the series (The Devil Chojin and Ken-Oh's army respectively).
- Both were ultimately defeated by the ultimate power they wished for but could never get because of their lack of empathy until the end of their stories.
- Both have a younger biological brother who is known for being a pacifist with the two fighting in a fight to the death.
- Both are related, either by being an adoptive sibling or an ancestor, to the main character (Who are both voiced by the same voice actor).
- Both have drastically expanded upon backstories in later media that are used to make the actions they take more understandable.
- These backstories involve travelling away from their original home which is a warrior-based civilisation where losing a battle would mean being killed and swearing to come back to kill their superiors for becoming corrupt and evil (The Man in Kinnikuman and Kaioh in Fist of the North Star).
Original Track[]
The original track for this fight would be called "Surpassing Heaven and Hell". The track is named after the Akuma Shogun being a Demon from the Demon World, Raoh stating that he wishes to "conquer the heavens" which is a fancy word for the world around him and the two's general desire to take over the world and surpass everyone around.
Q&A[]
Why wasn't Akuma Shogun's abilities from Movie 6 not used?
- Mostly because the movie was untranslated at the time of writing this. If his abilities in that movie were used, Akuma Shogun would one-shot Raoh with his mass soul manipulation.
Why use Garuda's light-speed statement rather than an on-screen feat?
- Two reasons: one, Garuda is a character that got blitzed by Juza who lost to Raoh in a fight so there's a consistent scaling chain and two, the feat allows Raoh to get similar speeds to Akuma Shogun, making the fight more even.
You picked the wrong Akuma to fight Raoh.
I swear to God, I'm going to f**king kill yo-
Would you want to see these characters fight in an actual crossover?
- Absolutely, and it should have happened by now
(damn Jump crossover games excluding Kinnikuman characters).
How likely do you think this will become an actual Death Battle?
- Unlikely, unless the upcoming anime for both series increases the match-ups popularity and the popularity of Kinnikuman in general.
