Trivia[]

  • The connection between Akame and Kenshiro is that they are both heroic assassins who use their skills to fight against injustice and corruption, with their most infamous ability the means to kill a person often in one hit (Mursame and Hokoto Shinken, respectively). Both have fought against their own siblings, whether they were by blood or adopted (Jagi, Raoh, and Hyou, and Kurome and Tsukushi respectively) and have ended up with markings on their bodies (Akame is covered with painful curse symbols whilst Kenshiro has a series of stars in his chest). Both their super modes are achieved by negative experiences (Akame's Little War Horn via slaying a loved one/taking on the deaths caused by her sword and Kenshiro draws on his inner sadness for Muso Tensei). Both are also established as being more emotional and kind-hearted than their stoic dispositions imply.
  • This battle would have been in 2D.
  • The original music for this battle would have been called 'Wan Katto, Sudeni Shinde Iru', which translates to "One Cut, Already Dead", referring to Akame's weapon title and Kenshiro's catchphrase.
