Akame VS Deadpool is an upcoming What-If Death Battle between Akame from Akame ga Kill and Deadpool from Marvel.
The fight has changed hands several times; it was initially created by Quauntonaut in 2015, before he abandoned nearly all of his battles in 2017, with this page being taken by Paladinporter. It was then taken by Withersoul 235 on New Years' Eve of 2018, but later dropped in favour of Akame VS Scud the Disposable Assassin.
The battle was then adopted by Halloween7 in 2020, but during his 6 month-hiatus, Halloween's category was chopped up due to it exceeding a newly introduced limit on uncompleted fights a user may have at once (75). The fight was then placed in the adoption category one final time before being returned to Wither on 2 April of 2021, who plans to finally complete it after 6 years.

- Connections: Akame and Deadpool are both red and black-clad assassins who wield a special death-inducing sword (Akame has the venomous Murasame, Deadpool has the molecule-breaching Carbonadium Sword) and have gone through a horrible past: Akame was sold to The Empire and forcibly underwent rigorous training, torture and abuse before becoming an assassin and defecting; Deadpool was diagnosed with cancer and his life fell apart, then he was 'saved' by the Canadian government under Ajax, by becoming a human test subject for an experiment, being injected with chemicals, mutated and kept in horrible pain until he got out, now deformed and deathless. Their dark pasts had the opposite effect on both: Akame became serious, no-nonsense and socially awkward, whereas Deadpool can't take anything seriously and jokes around everywhere, knowing no shame. Together with their team of antiheroes, they set out to get back at those who caused them pain in the past (The Empire and Ajax, respectively).

- Greg: Sporting short hair dyed gray, Greg is the Boomstick of the host panel. He's an idiot and a weirdo 1st class, who loves hot girls and lacks the ability to resist trying to flirt with them right off the bat. 16 years old, Greg "wastes" most of his time having epic gamer moments. In other words, he is a role model for all of us, no? [Greg's text is in bold.]
- Zoé: A girl with long, light brown hair who loves screwing around. Always frisky and playful, Zoé does her best keeping the atmosphere happy and bright, and she cannot resist trolling her follow hosts. Her eyes too, are a pure black. At 14 years old, Zoé is the youngest host, but her knowledge of anime, manga and derivations thereof always impresses her friends. [Zoé's text has no special styling]
- Zack: At 17 years, Zack is the oldest of the hosts, and additionally the most serious, too. He just wants to get the episode done and over with. Due to this, as well as his nerdy calculation skills and daily dose of obscure and random facts, Zack is consistently the target of his friends' memeing and jokes. Zack loves reading comics and graphic novels, possessing a huge stockpile of them in his Comic Vault. Zack wears glasses and dyed his hair pure white, because why not? [Zack's text is in italic.]
- Melissa: A 15-year old girl with long hair dyed a crimson red and mascara, who always suffers from her horrible temper and unpolite attitude. Swearing and curses are part of her everyday vocabulary, and she commonly trolls her friends when they annoy her, even if not directly. Melissa specializes in movies and TV series (excl. anime), and has extensive knowledge of weapons and magic, which she has herself studied. Despite pestering him all the time, Melissa secrectly has a crush on Zack and admires him for his knowledge. Not that she would ever admit this however. She's way too proud for that. Akame ga Kill VS Marvel! These red-and-black-clad assassins from printed media, sporting deadly blades, suffered horrible pasts, which turned them into what they are today: Each other's polar opposites in personality. Now, they lead their team of anti-heores to get back at the ones who tormented them all those years back — either dead serious, or as a giant joke. Will Akame cut off Deadpool's life support? Or will the Merc with a Mouth show that humor really does help?
