Description[]

RWBY vs RvB. The two badass females of both series duke it out and finally see who in this big Rooster Teeth rivalry will finally win!

Interlude[]

Boomstick: This is what Rooster Teeth Fans have been waiting for.

Wiz: Indeed. Today we pit together the biggest rivalry between RWBY and Red vs Blue.

Boomstick: And we're about to find out which badass will win! Agent Texas, Blue Team's Ex-Freelancer.

Wiz: And Yang Xiao Long, Team RWBY's Blonde Brawler.

Boomstick: He's Wiz and I'm Boomstick.

Wiz: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Agent Texas[]

Boomstick: Half machine. Half AI fragment. All badass. She's a girl named Tex.

Wiz: One of the most skilled and powerful characters in Red vs Blue, Tex earned her reputation by being the deadliest member in Project Freelancer, but before all this, Tex was a copy of the memory of a woman named Allison. Allison was the wife of Leonard Church and mother of Carolina. She was one of the most skilled members of the UNSC.

Boomstick: Until, for some unspecified reason, Allison died and Leonard was left to grieve. And he did what any emo scientist would do...He went and made an AI version of his memories but by accident, he also made a "shadow" of his memories of Allison, causing the creation of Alpha and Beta, both commonly known as Church and Tex.

Wiz: Wanting to "replace" his sadness, Leonard put the AI Beta, or Tex, inside a robotic body and began treating her like some sort of delicate puppy.

Boomstick: Well, delicate is not what I would use to describe Tex.

Wiz: Under the command of Doctor Leonard Church in the military group known as Project Freelancer, Tex's memories as Allison came in handy.

Boomstick: Allison was a member of the UNSC and her memories of training there was passed on to Tex. She knows a lot of martial arts, including Taekwondo, Karate, Judo and many more. She's so skilled that she defeated York, Wyoming and Maine in 3 on 1 combat by herself.

Wiz: Though when range weaponry is needed, she's an expert in almost any kind. In combat, she prefers to use dual M7/Caseless Submachine Guns.

Boomstick: She also uses an Assault Rifle for even more firepower. She's also got several other stuff, like a Combat Knife, Plasma Grenades, Spike Grenades, Shotgun and even a rocket launcher!

Wiz: The M41 Surface-to-Surface Rocket Medium Anti-Vehicle/Assault Weapon spreads a huge amount of damage over a large area. It is capable of taking out entire groups of infantry at any range and can kill both the passengers and crew of nearly any vehicle like the M808B Main Battle Tank.

Boomstick: If Tex needs to go somewhere, she rides her favorite motorcycle. It's fast enough to keep up with Carolina while she's using her Speed Unit.

Texmotorcycle

Wiz: And when she needs to traverse the skies, she uses her jetpack, also known as Series 12 Single Operator Lift Apparatus. The Jetpack can be used for travel purposes, as they may bypass any need to walk up many different staircases, ramps, etc., by flying up to the destination. Weapons can also be stored on the user's back when the jetpack is equipped through the jetpack's thruster casing.

Boomstick: Tex is one of the most skilled Freelancers in the series. She was capable of fighting and defeating York, Wyoming and Maine, completely overwhelming them in every round of the training match, which is incredible as York and Wyoming were ranked second and third on the charts at the time. She also displays a certain degree of martial arts prowess during, where she took out a number of soldiers with the help of her cloaking armor enhancement. Invisibility. Always helps. Wish I had that.

Wiz: In addition, Tex seems to have accuracy with her guns, as she was able to hit and destroy both a Hornet and a Warthog with a blast from her Rocket launcher and take out multiple enemies with an SMG, all of which while riding on a moving motorcycle. She further displayed her accuracy as she launched her motorcycle at a Hornet off of a ramp in mid-air, destroying it.

Boomstick: She also displayed enough skill with grenades to stick Donut right in the head with a plasma grenade. She also displayed enough skill with a Sniper Rifle to knock Lopez's head off of a turret.

(Tex shoots Lopez off the turret)

Boomstick: Bullseye!

Wiz: In conclusion, although Tex is a skilled and capable Freelancer in her own right, it is worth mentioning that because she is an A.I. enclosed inside of an artificial body, she is additionally not subject to the general weaknesses a normal "human" fighter faces such as pain, fatigue, muscle failure and the like, which combined with her combat skills is enough to overwhelm most opponents. Along with her skills in martial arts, she seems to have enough knowledge of military tactics to modify them for her own use.

Boomstick: Like the time where she sets up a trap that, at first glance, looks like a setup for a sniper when in reality was actually a trap made up of an array of trip mines.

(scene from Red vs Blue)

10 landmines begin to light up in a perfect circle around Wash, Meta and Doc.

Washington: Oh, son of a bitch.

Doc: (sigh) Told you so.

The Warthog explodes.

Wiz: Tex is also fast enough to dodge bullets and outrun a homing rocket.

Boomstick: But her greatest feats of all is because of her immense strength, with the help of her AI buddy, Omega. She's lifted a whale sized crate, flipped a tank, punches casually through steel walls, sends people flying with her punches, where she does this even with the Meta, who was heavy enough to destroy a warthog just by landing on it, trashed a thick, metal plated door with several punches and sent it flying and even punches large chunks of ice!

Wiz: She also has insane durability. She's been stabbed in the back with a combat knife and hit in the chest with a tomahawk, but fought on as if nothing happened. She also got shot by the machine gun turret of a tank and was crushed shortly after by said tank between a pillar, but was totally fine.

Boomstick: Tex might just be one of the most overpowered characters in Red vs Blue history, just right next to the Meta.

Wiz: However, she is not perfect. She has "died" several times already, at one point even by the explosion of a simple plasma grenade. Though she keeps getting revived through getting multiple robot bodies.

Boomstick: Other than that, she has no other particular weaknesses. I don't know about you, but I would definitely stay away from her. I want to keep my balls intact, please.

The door is slowly crumbled, and then shoots off the hinges over top of them.

Grif: Door's open.

Sarge: What the- hh?

Tex slams her fist into an open palm and cracks her neck.

Tex: Okay. So who's first?

Yang Xiao Long[]

Wiz: Born in the island of Patch, Yang Xiao Long was--

Boomstick: My daughter.

Wiz: Ugh...She's not your daughter.

Boomstick: Yeah she is! Do I have to explain why again?!

Wiz: (sighs) No. Just...Let's do our job.

Boomstick: I'll kill you.

Wiz: Yang Xiao Long was the daughter of Taiyang Xiao Long and Summer Rose, alongside her younger sister Ruby Rose. However, after the death of Summer and finding out that she and Ruby are half sisters, Yang wanted to find her real mother. Determined to do so, she enrolled in Signal, and right after that, Beacon, to train herself in combat to prepare herself for the obstacles that might stop her from meeting her mother.

Boomstick: Yang is a brawler and prefers brute force over strategy. Though it's not stated what type of fighting style she uses, judging by the way she fights, she's most likely a practitioner of kick boxing and wrestling. She rarely uses kicking and sometimes just prefers to use punches.

Wiz: To further enhance the damage of her fists, she wields Ember Celica, dual shotgun gauntlets that cause explosions upon contact and even fire incendiary ammunitions.

Boomstick: See? This is why she's my daughter. She likes to punch people while firing shotguns. So she combined her beautiful fists with equally beautiful weapons.

Wiz: She doesn't seem to have any sort of other weapons other than the shotgun gauntlets. In fact, theses blasts are so strong, it can even allow her to propel herself forward and even into the air. Yes. She uses her guns...to fly.

Boomstick: I'm so proud of her...

Wiz: She also has Aura, which gives her defense and allows her to heal wounds, though it takes some time do so.

Boomstick: She can also use this Aura to increase the power of her attacks. She can also use it to detect living beings around her.

Wiz: When she needs land transportation, she rides Bumblebee.

Yangmotorcycle

Boomstick: The Transformer?

Wiz: No no no. She has a motorcycle named Bumblebee.

Boomstick: Oh.

Wiz: Bumblebee is fast enough to chase a giant titan like robot that moves faster than a speeding car. So it's most likely Bumblebee is capable of the same speeds.

Boomstick: Yang is good at handling her motorbike. She can swerve and dodge flying cars and come out unfazed.

Wiz: Yang has defeated thugs, Junior, the Malachite Twins, numerous White Fang soldiers and of course, as a Huntress in training, she's slain a couple of creatures of Grimm.

Boomstick: But her most impressive feats usually stem to her Semblance. The more damage she takes, the stronger she gets.

(cue Yang vs Paladin)

Boomstick: Haha!

Wiz: Due to this, one of her may different approaches in battle is to get hit on purpose. This is seen in her fight with Junior. It's fairly obvious she can dodge all of Junior's attacks, as she can even dodge gunfire. However, she allows herself to get hit in order to gain more power and thus, end the fight quickly.

Boomstick: Well, whatever works, Wiz. She's tough enough to get punched by the giant Paladin, hit by blunt weapons, like a bat, a long fall from the sky to the ground, after getting hit by a melon hammer, courtesy of Nora, and even get kicked in the face multiple times by Neo.

Wiz: Despite this, Yang is not perfect. It's been confirmed by Monty Oum himself that Yang is weak to opponents who use kicks. Also, despite being physically more powerful than Neo, she was still defeated by Neo due to her speed and agility.

Boomstick: You could compare this to a tank that has enough firepower to hit big targets. But even then, it's really hard to hit a target that's constantly moving and is too small for you to pinpoint.

Wiz: Plus, even though Yang can become more powerful through getting hit, that doesn't make her invincible. She still gets hurt and can possibly die if the force is too much for her to absorb.

Boomstick: She also loses focus if she gets angry and just swings wildly at her foes.

Wiz: Even so, it's definitely not worth trying to fight Yang, or else it's time to die.

(Neo drops down from the ceiling, causing Yang, Weiss and Blake to stop running)

Yang: You two go on ahead. This one's mine.

DEATH BATTLE[]

Yang is seen riding Bumblebee, on her way to some building.

After she parks in front, she notices another motorcycle parked.

Yang: Guess I have a playmate.

Yang enters the building.

Cut to Tex. She is seen typing on some computers until she spots on one of the CCTV cameras that Yang is inside the building.

Back to Yang, she is looking around inside the building.

Yang: Hellooooooo! Anyone here?

Tex is seen cloaked on some stairs, aiming a sniper rifle at Yang.

Yang: You don't mind if I take some stuff, right? Cause I was sent to shut down...whatever this place is.

Tex fires, but Yang was fast to spot the incoming fire and dodges the bullet. Yang then fires a shotgun blast at Tex, causing her to de-cloak and dodge. As Tex tries to find another hiding spot, Yang manages to find her.

Tex: Who are you?

Yang: You can call me "sir". I was sent here by Beacon to shut down this Project Freelancer building and take the data.

Tex: Another one trying to stop us? The Director told me to delete all the data and leave no trace.

Yang: Leave no trace?

Suddenly, alarms went blaring and red light flashes everywhere.

Computer: Self Destruct initiated. T-minus 5 minutes.

Yang: Oh...Well I'm not leaving until I get enough data.

Tex: Too bad. I have all the remaining.

Yang: Then I'll beat it out of you.

FIGHT!

(Caffeine)

Tex and Yang engage in close quarters combat. After a few seconds, Tex manages to catch Yang off guard and does a suplex on her. As Yang attempts to stand up, Tex takes out her dual SMGs and fires at Yang, who manages to dodge them. Yang then proceeds to do a combo on Tex, ending it with an uppercut that sends Tex into some boxes.

Yang: Yang in there, baby.

Tex comes out with an assault rifle and fires at Yang, who dodges by running to her side.

Tex: I don't know what's worse. Your puns or your skills.

Yang stops behind a crate to hide from the bullets, then she kicks the crate towards Tex, who dodges said object. Tex tries to fire, but her gun clicks, as she is out of bullets. Yang proceeds to fire more shotgun shots at her opponent, forcing Tex to be the one who runs and dodge.

Computer: 3 minutes remaining.

Tex gets close and engages Yang in melee combat. After a while, Yang manages to hit Tex and cause her to get knocked into the same crate she threw at Tex earlier. Tex notices a small opening on the crate and she opens it. Yang fires a single shot, causing a small explosion. However, the smoke clears and Tex is gone.

Yang: Hmm...

Yang glows yellow with her Aura and tries detecting Tex. However, she can't sense her.

Yang: That's weird.

Before she knows it, Tex, with a rocket launcher on her back, suddenly appears behind her, de-cloaking, and pins Yang on the ground.

Computer: 60 seconds remaining.

Tex: What?

Tex gets distracted by the computer and Yang headbutts Tex from behind, freeing herself from the Freelancer's hands.

Yang: Give up and give me the data then maybe I'll let you go.

Tex: No can do, kid.

Tex says as she points at Yang's feet. Yang looks down and sees a plasma grenade stuck on her feet. It explodes, causing Yang to get blow away and end up on some crates.

Computer: 40 seconds.

Tex: Damn it.

However, Yang stands up, carrying a giant crate. She throws it Tex but Tex dives forward to dodge. In response, Tex takes out a spike grenade and throws it at Yang, who dodges just in time before the spike grenade explodes.

Computer: 20 seconds.

Hearing that, both girls head towards the exit of the building.

Computer: 10 seconds. 9...8...7...6...

Tex, using SMGs, and Yang, using Ember Celica, fire at each other while running towards the exit, both seem to be missing and dodging.

Computer: 5...4...3...2...1...

(Spiral)

The camera cuts to outside the building... which explodes! However, from the fiery explosion, out comes Yang and Tex, both on their respective motorcycles. Both bikers go to the streets. As they chase each other, Yang continues firing while driving. Tex manages to swerve and dodge all the attacks and she completely does a 360 turn to fire a rocket at Yang, but Yang manages to dodge. The two continue to chase each other on their motorcycles. Up ahead, Tex sees a convenient military truck carrying jetpacks. Tex fires another rocket at Yang behind her, who dodges again. Tex then jumps aboard the truck and takes a jetpack. She uses this to fly away and escape. Yang, however, decided it's not over. She jumps off Bumblebee and then fires her gauntlets backwards, propelling her towards Tex. As they both fly, Yang manages to fire single shot at Tex's jetpack, causing Tex to uncontrollably fly towards Yang. Tex and Yang hit each other causing the two to plummet to a glass roof of a building. Once they crash into the said building, both stand up. Tex aims her SMGs at Yang. She attempts to fire but is out of bullets. Yang tries firing Ember Celica, but she's also out of bullets.

(I May Fall)

Tex: Got more fight in ya?

Yang: Yep.

Tex throws away ber guns and takes out her final weapon: her combat knife. Tex and Yang face each other in close combat. As the fight goes on, Tex manages to slash at Yang's abdomen. Yang's eyes then glow red and her hair glows gold. The two engage in melee combat again and this time, Yang managed to hit Tex on her face, causing a giant crack on her helmet's glass face. Tex shrugs this off and the two continue to fight. After a long match, Yang punches Tex in the face again, while at the same time, Tex stabs Yang through her heart. Yang's punch caused Tex's head to get blown right off. Tex's robotic body falls down on the ground. Yang smiles a little...

Yang: I'm sorry...Ruby...

...before falling down and dying through her stab wound through her heart.

K.O!

Announcer: Double KO.

Results[]

(Sacrifice)

Boomstick: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Wiz: Tex and Yang are evenly matched. In terms of strength, speed, agility and overall experience.

Boomstick: (crying)

Wiz: Tex's training as a Freelancer is on par with Yang's training since childhood as a Huntress in training.

Boomstick: Why?! Why?!?! Why must my baby girl die?!

Wiz: Though Tex is trained as a soldier, she also has a bit of aggressiveness that even Yang possesses. Plus, Tex has a major flaw: she is destined to fail at almost anything. Though she successfully killed Yang, she herself failed...to survive.

Boomstick: *sniffs* Well...Yang's straightforward approach is actually bad for this match up. Even if she collected enough power, Tex is too agile for her to hit.

Wiz: However, due to her tactics of "letting her opponent hit her", it became as an ultimate reason as to why she was killed by Tex. And Tex herself has been known to risk her own life just to take down her opponent. In the end, they would just kill each other and die together.

Boomstick: Well...Tex couldn't yang in there, but Yang couldn't see her opponent's tex move.

Wiz: This match is a draw.

Boomstick: I'm gonna go tell Ruby the bad news.

Agent Texas Vs. Yang Xiao Long is Season 2, Episode 4 of ThunderStar20's Death Battles, pitting Agent Texas from Red VS. Blue against Yang Xiao Long from RWBY.

Description[]

Rooster Teeth's female fatales clash in a fist fight filled with bullets! Who's living another day?

Interlude[]

Metroid: Agent Texas, Project Freelancer's Top Dog.

Thunder: And Yang Xiao Long, the Fiery Fighter of Team RWBY!

Metroid: Ferocious fighters are everywhere in fiction, and today we are bringing Rooster Teeth's female warriors for a hard slug out.

Thunder: Rest in piece, Rooster Teeth. He's Metroid and I'm Thunder!

Metroid: And it's our job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Agent Texas brings you down to your knees![]

Metroid: Long ago, before the events of everyone's favorite Sim Troopers occurred, the alien covenant from Halo was still on the attack.

Thunder: But despite all the Spartans, there was another project going on for Super Soliders; Project Freelancer! Basically taking a group of powerful folks to be trained for the big guns.

Metroid: But one day, a new Freelancer showed up. One that would prove to be their best.

Thunder: That would be Agent Texas! Or Tex.

Background:

Agent Name: Texas

The Beta AI

Top of the Freelancer's Leaderboards

Based on: Allison

Unoffical Blue Team member"

Seems to HATE Grif

Metroid: Before we dive into details about Tex it's best we dive some time back. To be specific, the beginning oof Project Freelancer. This...project tested an experiment.

Thunder: And it was fucked up. They made soliders with A.I. implants! And guess how? By torturing the Alpha A.I.! Fuck that, we artificial intelligence may not be human, but we matter!

Metroid: O...Kay, calm down. The Alpha A.I. split as a result. But there was also a byproduct; a Beta A.I., who was based on the long dead lover of the Director of Project Freelancer, Allison.

Thunder: Not exactly the healthiest way to cope. Anyway, unlike the other A.I., who were assigned to someone, the Beta A.I. was given a robot body, and the name Agent Texas!

Metroid: She quickly became top of the Leaderboards, albeit to the frustration of her fellow Freelancers. Soon she was their best agent.

Thunder: At least until she started realizing something about the program was fucked. So she chose to save the Alpha! You go girl, rescue your pal!

Metroid: But the rescue...didn't fare well. Not only did the Alpha not seem to recognize her, but Carolina, who is technically her daughter, was killed. As a result, Tex feld from being outnumbered and outgunned.

Thunder: And after some time, she found herself in Blood Gulch and became apart of the shenanigans of the Reds and Blues!

Metroid: Despite there being three different versions of Tex, the Beta A.I., the Epsilon Copy, and the one at the end of the Restoration, we will combine all three for one, as they mostly are the same, even sharing their memories.

Thunder: Tex isn't like the goofballs that are the Reds and Blues. She has great intelligence, being able to set up traps like explosives, or use the environment to her advantage! Like using teleporters to evade attacks, destroying parts of a snowy mountain to have it fall down against her foes as they fight, and hid weapons in the snow and even boulders…somehow.

Metroid: Tex is an expert marksman, able to shoot people in their leg accurately without even facing them. She destroyed a Hornet Ship with a rocket launcher while jumping on a ramp on her motorcycle, and shot multiple soliders with an SMG all while on a motorcycle chase.

Thunder: She's also stupidly good at hand to hand, able to take on multiple Freelancers at once. She perfers to do single, powerful blows or rapid fire ones, likes doing suplexes, and will pick up everyone single weapon in reach!

Metroid: She can play defensively too, using evading attacks until she finds an opening to strike her target, and also attempting disarming of weaponry on her target and using it against them. And she…isn't above using unfair or dirty tactics.

Thunder: Like hitting someone in the balls! Several times. Each with a painful crunch. Ow.

Metroid: But she isn't just hand to hand. Tex has utilized several weapons against her opponents for one reason or another. She has an SMG that holds a total of sixty rounds, and has fully automatic firing mode. It fires fifteen rounds per second, which is nine hundred rounds per minute, and is her preferred weapon to the point of dual wielding.

Thunder: She's got a Battle Rifle to shoot in bursts of three rounds, with 36 rounds in total, a Magnum that has a total of eight rounds that can break through solid stone columns, and even be loaded with paralyzing paint, and a Sniper Rifle that has four rounds and covers 2,300 meters!

Metroid: She even has a Rocket Launcher that has two rockets and fires one per second, and Minigun. And for close range, outside her fists which honestly could be called weapons themselves, she has a Combat Knife.

Thunder: And when she wants things to go boom, she's got grenade! Frag Grenades, Plasma Grenades that stick to foes but are surprisingly not too lethal, and Spike Grenades that stick to foes, and when exploding, send spikes everywhere!

Metroid: Lastly, she has amotorcycle that lets her keep up with even speed unit users. And her armor even has enhancements that help her in battle, such as an Active Camoflague that helps her stay invisible.

Thunder: And the other Enhancement increases her strength! Which is probably why she has so many strength feats like flipping a sixty ton tank over with ease, throwing giant crates with little EFFORT, and being able to match the Meta, who injured a Insurrection Solider that survived a shot worth 0.9446098655 tons of TNT!

Metroid: She's also quick on her feet; able to evade gunshots and even heat seeking missiles. She should also be far superior to Simmons, who dodged shots from a Storm Rifle. Storm Rifles fire plasma with a muzzle velocity of 126 m/s. As Simmons actually dodge several, this was calced at 149.1533887651 m/s, or Subsonic. And there's the fact A.I. can perceive time silent, someone even calculated it to be 10,000 faster than an average human.

Thunder: And being an A.I., Tex doesn't get tried, or muscle pain! And if you destroy her body, she can continue fighting if there's ant machines nearby, since she can enter and control them. Although Tex did have a flaw of being programmed to fail, which is why she died, the gal was revived one last time by Grif, Simmons, and Caboose to stop the Meta when it took over Tucker. This time, she wasn't based on the Director's memory of his wife's death. This time, she was based in how much of a badass she was to the Reds and Caboose!

Metroid: So...she succeeded. She managed to trap all the A.I. fragments in the Recovery Unit; including herself. In it, she and Church shared a final moment together, before Caboose destroyed it, per her request.

Thunder: Honestly....in the end, she EARNED that rest. Farewell, Tex.

Yang burns with action![]

Metroid: In the World of Remnant, the lands are mostly peaceful. While most are okay, the lands are plagued by monsters known as Grimm.

Thunder: They kinda cause shit on the daily whenever people get too close. Well, luckily, this isn't all just ‘we're fucked’ if the Grimm show up, because this world has it's own defenders!

Metroid: To be exact, Huntsman and Huntresses. These warriors are trained in various areas to become defenders of the world, ensuring the Grimm threat can be contained or stopped. And to be a Huntsman, one would have to attend an academy to learn their ways.

Thunder: And one of those include Beacon, one of the better schools out there. And there were well, teams. One of Team RWBY, with the Y being the rough and tough Yang Xiao Long!

BACKGROUND:

Age: 19

Birthday: July 28th

Height: 5’8”/1.73m

Weight: 135 lbs/61.25 kg

Favorite Mix: Strawberry Sunrise

Ruby's Big Half Sister

Girlfriend: Blake Belladonna

Attempted chiropractic work once

Metroid: Upon the disappearance of her mother, Yang spent most of her childhood searching for her parent to no avail. She eventually was trained by her father Taiyang, and soon joined Beacon.

Thunder: Along with her little sister! While Yang may be a Huntress, she doesn't use blades, she goes in, fists flying with her gauntlets, Ember Celica!

Metroid: Yang's gauntlets pack a punch. You get it? Like…punching?

Thunder: Er…yeah, but uh, you're not supposed to explain the joke.

Metroid: ….Oh.

Thunder: Don't worry, you'll get it eventually. But Metroid ain't kidding, the gauntlets make her blows stronger, but most importantly, they are also shotguns!

Metroid: Ember Celica's chambers holster a magazine consisting of twelve shells, allowing for 24 shots when both gauntlets are loaded. It can release pulses of raw kinetic energy when she punches, capable of knowing people a fair distance away, and Yang has used the recoil to propel herself large distances, change directions, or increase her striking power.

Thunder: The gauntlets have two different types of ammo. The orange ones are just buckshots that release as Yang punches, and the red one are more for long range explosive shots! She can even attach the red ones to basically be sticky bombs! Oh, and if ammo out, Yang's got more than one set at her back.

Metroid: And when she lost her arm, Yang was given a robotic one as replacement. Not only does it have the same effect as Yang's old gauntlet, but also can propel off her bicep, fired like a projectile. It can even block attacks like the one that cut her arm off in the first place.

Thunder: But that's not the only option Yang has for defense; she's also unlocked her Aura, which is basically a neat forcefield. You can't really kill her while it's up, and it heals minor wounds or bruises. It's the manifestation of her soul, and is why she's so damn superhuman.

Metroid: It's important to note Aura can be bypassed with stronger attacks, or even broken by too much damage. Once that happens, Yang won't be as superhuman, and loses access to her Semblance, which is basically her super power.

Thunder: And Yang has a pretty sick one; Burn! Anytime someone hits her, she absorbs the damage and becomes stronger! Yang's Semblance grants her energy equal to twice the strength she is hit with. But she still takes the full force of her opponent's attacks, so she still could be injured. Still, when the fight gets too intense or Yang just too pissed, she goes full in, generating fire and gaining glowy hair and red eyes!

Metroid: As a note, we will also be acknowledging the RWBY Video Games Grimm Eclipse and Arrowfell, as they are confirmed canon to the series. Yang knows skills like Quake, where she strikes the floor strong enough to create rock pillars around her and a wave of energy to knock foes back, or Blast Wave where she strikes her opponent with enough foes that they go flying and a cascade of rocks fly out towards her foes.

Thunder: Hell, Arrowfell has them with items like Yakisoba, Chocolate Bars and Potions that can heal them and their Aura, so if Yang's Aura breaks, she just needs a quick snack and BAM! She even have a Revive Ring from those games, so Yang could easily come back even if she took a lethal blow! Damn, Pyrrah could have used one of those…or Penny.

Metroid: Yang has melted down two giant metal blocks by punching the ground, which was calculated at 326.037 Tons of TNT. As for speed, she can keep up with the Ace Ops who can give Winter trouble, and Winter is able to dodge and deflect literal lasers, one of which calculated at 4.12x the speed of light.

Thunder: But all in all, Yang best strength is really how strong she is metaphorically. Even after suffering from depression and PTSD, she pressed on, and will always, be at the back of Team RWBY no matter what!

Prelude[]

Metroid: Alright, the combatants are set, and we've run the data through all possibilities.

Thunder: It's time for a Death Battle!

Pre-Fight[]

Agent Texas found herself awake in a ship she was unfamiliar with. Looking around, she saw her hands were the same as her body back in Blood Gulch...

But that was impossible. Caboose destroyed the recovery unit, she knows as her life had a giant period of being nothing but a black void. So how was she...?

"Ah, you're awake!" A creepy voice spoke, making Tex look up to see Tyrian Callows and Mercury Black. "Where. Am I." She spoke, as Mercury muttered "Wow, she IS straightforward."

"You're on an Atlas ship we stole! And it turns out they had connections to another company. So we had your backup A.I. and robot body put together to work for us!" Tyrian declared, Tex looking quietly. "And what exactly do you have planned?"

"For your assistance for our goddess to destroy all of Remnant!" Tyrian gloated, Tex simply saying this. "I've had enough."

Abruptly, Tex punched Mercury hard enough to make him floor him, Tyrian laughing and running up to her, but Tex slid between his legs, grabbed his Scorpion tail, and once Tyrian turned around...

Tex rammed the stinger right into Tyrian's balls, making him squeal at an extremely high pitch. After that, Tex kicked him in the face, before opening the door. "I'm dC, ne playing pawn. Tell your 'goddess' she should get a life." She spat, making Tyrian scowl before Tex leaped out.

After a bit, Tex, as she fell...realized something. "Wait, why the hell did he have a tail?"

Meanwhile, on the ground, Team RWBY and Jaune were taking a small break. While the rest decided to take a nap, Yang was looking outside "Looks like the coast is clear. Time to get some sleep and get ready for Vacuo--"

Within the corner of her eye, she spotted something falling from the sky before crashing, making her raise an eyebrow, but was also a tad bit concerned.

Looking at her sleeping friends and sister, she sighed and got up. "Better check that out."

Sometime later, Yang got to the crash site in the sand. Large rocks were around, and the area looked like someone had een around. "Hello? Anyone here?"

Confused, but then hearing footsteps, she turned around... to see nothing

Then suddenly, Tex deactivated her cloaking and threw a hard punch. Yang quickly blocked, and jumped back. "Hey! What's the big deal?!"

"Tell me where I am or there's going to be trouble." Tex grunted as Yang motioned around, "Uh, the desert? Hello?"

That didn't seem to satisfy Tex, who cracked her knuckles. "Guess I'll just beat the info ou of you." Yang glared, before smirking as the Ember Celica formed on her non-robotic arm. "Lets see about that, tough guy."

Fight[]

Pulling out a pistol, Tex fired several bullets towards Yang, who smirked and began to charge up to the Ex-Freelancer, dodging each bullet and performing a haymaker.

Tex barely dodged and headbutted Yang back, but noticed the shotgun blast that went off near her head. "Great. She has shotgun gauntlets." Tex grunted, before muttering "I know a guy who'd kill for those..."

Shaking her thoughts off, Tex saw Yang going for another punch. She ducked, and went for a spin kick, but Yang quickly caught her leg.

That was what Tex wanted, as used her other leg to kick Yang off balance. Pulling out her pistol again, Tex fired a few shots, but Yang quickly rolled to the side.

Yang quickly went to perform several punches, Tex dodging each blow before leaping forward and delivering a hard punch to her stomach. Yang grunted, with Tex quickly rapidly punching her across the face before punching her into the sand hard enough to bounce off it.

Yang was then grabbed and thrown into a nearby rock. Growling, Yang fipped over the rock and punched it hard enough to blow it apart, sending pieces of sharpnel flying towards Tex. The Ex-Freelancer dodged through the rubble, and even grabbed an SMG she hid in it.

"Where did that come from?!" Yang questioned, but got no reply as Tex opened fire. Yang had no time to dodge and was shot repeatedly. But much to Tex's shock, Yang didn't get wounded, thanks to her Aura!

Tex was confused, but found herself being slugged across the face hard enough to tumble across the sands. The Ex-Freelancer stood up, to see various shots from the Ember Celica flying towards her, forcing her to evade by running to the side.

From there, Tex pulled out her pistol and landed a shot, a weird gel hardening around Yang's legs, leaving her stuck in place. With that, Tex ran forward, pulling out a knife, ready to stab her.

Yang however, quickly punched her fists together, igniting enough fire to melt the gel and force Tex back. Yang went back in, launching herself upwards before bringing her fists down, ready to slam Tex. But the Huntress found herself being grappled by the arms, putting the two fightings gals at a standstill.

"Heh. Pretty ARMED and dangerous, aren't ya?" Yang quipped as Tex grumbled "Seriously?" in annoyance, before kneeing Yang in the stomach and headbutting her away. Afterwards, Tex rolled away and got behind a rock and punched it, shattering it to reveal a Battle Rifle hidden within.

Now behind cover, Tex opened fire as Yang ran to the side, firing back. The rock Tex was behind was beginning to take too much damage...And Tex knew it, so she pulled out a Plasma Grenade and threw it over, hitting Yang square in the chest. The Huntress only had enough time to realize it was on her chest before the explosion went off by Tex shooting it.

Dropping to the floor in pain, Yang got up, holding her arm while in a bit of pain. She scanned her surroundings, before noticing Tex was not around her at the moment.

“Alright, I know you can turn invisible. How about you fight me directly?” Yang asked, but not a single word was heard….because Tex got a set distance away, holding onto a Sniper Rifle….and fired.

Yang heard the shot and ducked, before running up to where Tex was, evading each shot coming forth. But that was what Tex wanted, as she actually hid a few Grenades underneath the sand that Yang was running up.

The explosion sent Yang flying towards Tex by the force. Tex held her arm to the side, hitting Yang in the neck and causing her to tumble across the ground. Groaning, the Huntress got up…just to be repeatedly pummeled by Tex. A punch to the face and stomach, a knee to the chin, and soon enough, a suplex that knocked the wind out of Yang.

“Alright, kid. Time's up.” Tex spoke, before grabbing a rocket launcher she hid in the sand and firing both rockets. The Huntress shot out explosive shots to destroy the rockets…but out of the smoke came Tex, swinging her rocket launcher like a club and smashing down on Yang's head, before throwing her up with another swing, before throwing another grenade, to be specific, a spiked one.

The blast knocked Yang to the ground, leaving her laying there. Tex slowly pulled out her knife, ready to end the match as Yang struggled to even stand.

At least, until Yang's eyes turned red. “I'm not done yet!” Yang yelled, before launching her robotic arm off her bicep, hitting Tex in the chest and slamming into a giant rock that crumpled to reveal a minigun.

Seeing Yang running at high speed, Tex began firing the minigun…but sadly, Yang powered through the shots and got stronger, punching the minigun with enough force to outright shatter it. Tex didn't have enough time to process what had happened before Yang quickly grabbed her robotic arm, reattached it, and began to repeatedly pummel.

Each blow put dents in her armor and even broke pieces off. Soon, Yang did a rapid fire series of punches to Tex's chest, attaching red shells to it, before sending up into the air. With that, Yang reeled her arm back and fired an explosive shot.

“See ya!” She declared, with Tex only being able to see that the explosive was about to make contact with the explosives on her chest. With that, Tex could only say one thing:

“Oh, son of a bitch–”

The explosion that went off after made Yang shield her eyes, before the smoke cleared and revealed….Tex's helmet falling to the ground. Shortly after, Yang sighed and slumped…..then heard her sister's voice.

“Yang?” Turning around to see Ruby, Yang awkwardly rubbed her head. “Uh, hey, Ruby.” She spoke, as Ruby Rose an eyebrow. “What are you doing out here?”

After a bit, seeing the destroyed rocks and all, Yang sighed.

“It's…a long story.”

Results[]

Winner's Screen: Yang walks back with Ruby, talking about the fight that she just had.

Loser's Screen: Tex's A.I. form appears, and swears in anger at losing.

Thunder: Aw man, not Tex….

Metroid: This battle did seem close at first, but ultimately Yang had what it took to take Tex down.

Thunder: First off, Yang was just way physically superior. Tex's biggest feat is at 0.9446098655 tons of TNT, but Yang's best strength feat is calced at 326.037 tons, about 345 times stronger.

Metroid: And while Tex has reacted to bullets and plasma, Yang is comparable to people who can react to lasers moving faster than light.

Thunder: But Tex wasn't completely helpless. She was way more skilled and had way more training than Yang ever did, and was in general extremely crafty, because, you know, she hide shit in stuff like giant ice blocks, so she could try and outwit the Huntress. Hell, her weapons could easily outdo Yang's range! Speaking of weapons, she had way more.

Metroid: But ultimately, Yang's Aura and Semblance basically spelled the defeat for Tex. Yang's Semblance makes her stronger with each blow she takes, making her more dangerous to fight up close. And with that Aura, it was hard to land a killing blow.

Thunder: Of course if Tex broke the Aura, she would have been fine! But considering the Aura has survived blows comparable to what Yang can dish out, yeah, easier said than done. And even if she did damage it, Yang has items that can restore it, or even revive her from a fatal blow.

Metroid: Now lets go over some reasons why people say Tex has the win; the 10 Megaton Bomb and Tex being an A.I., which do seem like good reasons. First off, the Megaton bomb was done in earlier parts of the series, in later seasons, the Reds and Blues were going to die to a similar explosion in Chorus.

Thunder: And there were some characters who died in the explosion that were clearly on par with other Freelancers. Combine that with the cast nearly dying to lesser attacks, and it's more likely to be an outlier compared to the numerous building feats.

Metroid: As for A.I….Yang isn't a Solider who wears a tech suit, which is why the A.I. can possess a Sim Trooper or another Freelancer. The closest thing Yang has is her robotic arm, but if she really wanted she could just shoot it off until Tex stops firing shots, or it runs out. So ultimately, not that helpful here. In the end, Tex was smarter and more experienced, but Yang's superior physicality, Aura and Semblance proved too much for her.

Thunder: Sadly, Tex was taken out with a Yang…

Metroid: The winner is Yang Xiao Long.

Yang Xiao Long (Winner):

+ Physically Superior + Semblance can be a pain for Tex + Aura can shield otherwise lethal blows + Healing items and Revive Ring will make it hard for her to be put down - Far less experienced

Agent Texas (Loser):

+ Far More Experienced + More Weaponry + A bit more tricker and smarter - Outclassed physically
