Description[]

RWBY vs. Kamen Rider! Discrimination, malice, hatred, fear, and vengeance are powerful emotions and can often lead those who feel them astray; however, for these two, those emotions are what drive them to seek the destruction of humanity. In a battle between Faunus and Humagear, which one of these two will walk away to exterminate humanity? The leader of the White Fang, or the Leader of MetsubouJinrai.net?

Interlude[]

(Cue Wiz and Boomstick - DEATH BATTLE Theme)

Ayden: Equality among races, religions, and nations is a very difficult thing to achieve; it is sometimes done through peaceful discussion and pacing a process that takes time but can often result in great progress.

Sun: Other times it's through revolutionary groups, and their methods often consist of protests and rallies to get their Voice heard.

Ayden: However, with these two... they instead make their kind voice heard through violence, fear, and Hatred.

Sun: Adam Taurus, The Leader of the White Fang.

Ayden: "And Kamen Rider Horobi, Leader of MetsubouJinrai.net.

Sun: He's Ayden and I'm Sun!

Ayden: And it's our job to analyze their armor, weapons, and skills to find out who would win... a DEATH BATTLE.

Adam Taurus[]

Ayden: In the World of Remnant, centuries ago, the world had been created by two brother gods, one of light and one of darkness, but due to some issues and the very rage-fueled attempts at overthrowing them by humans, the gods decided to leave mankind to their own devices, fracturing the moon on their way out.

Sun: During this time, mankind began to advance; however, during their advancement, they met another species known as the Faunus, who closely resembled humans; however, the thing that differentiated them was the fact that along with the Faunus possessing the ability to see in the dark, they also possess a physical trait of an animal.

Ayden: However, humanity was not so accepting of this new race that walked among them and shunned the fauna, treating them with disrespect, hostility, and worse, discrimination.

Sun: This ultimately culminated in a war breaking out between the Humans and Faunus, but even after the war, the Faunus weren’t being treated any better, with some even being forced to work in dust mines by the Schnee Dust Company!

Ayden: One such Faunus is Adam Taurus, who, while a part of the labor force of the Schnee Dust Mines, was branded with the Schnee Dust Company logo on his face before he eventually found himself at home with the White Fang.

Sun: Adam had finally found a place where he belonged, but the White Fang ran into difficulties as the Humans became more hostile, and Adam, along with other members, began employing more and more violent tactics when fighting hostile humans, with a large portion of these tactics often involving him killing said humans as "accidents."

Ayden: This often brought him into conflict with Ghira Belladonna, who wanted a more peaceful resolution to the conflict, and Adam’s partner as well as Ghira’s daughter, Blake Belladonna, who was slowly seeing that Adam was changing into something monstrous. However, Sienna Khan, the leader of the White Fang, had indirectly encouraged Adam’s growing violence.

Sun: Eventually, this would come to a head as Adam would meet a woman named Cinder Fall who, after a very intimidating method of negotiation, would join her plan to bring down Beacon Academy and become a helpful member of Salem’s cause, despite his growing desire to initiate a war with humanity and enslave them.

Ayden: And Adam was certainly capable of doing so as he was a skilled and lethal combatant in his own right, and whether it was against groups of enemies or a single enemy, he could hold his own and, thanks to his vicious Tenacity could overcome most foes and cut them down.

Sun: Adam is a Rather Fast Combatant, being capable of blocking bullets in rapid succession from Atlesian Knight-130s and various firearms like revolvers, taking out several humans faster than they can even react, swinging his sword so fast that it seems like he’s done no damage until he sheathes the blade, and could even keep pace with the likes of Yang Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna as well as Sun Wukong.

Ayden: Early on in RWBY, Yang has shown to be capable of moving through a collapsing bridge and pillar as debris fell, which would require her to move at speeds of Mach 6, while Sun Wukong is capable of intercepting the “Lightning” Breath of the Sea Feilong, which required him to move at speeds of Mach 11 too accomplish.

Sun: Adam may not appear to be strong, but he is capable of slashing through Atlesian Knight-130s and sending grown humans flying with relative ease, and he is even capable of swatting away a Grimm creature such as the Creep with a simple swing of his sword.

Ayden: Not only that, but Adam is rather durable, being able to be struck by the Spider-Droid’s blast, which has enough force to blast open a metal door, could endure having a motorcycle thrown at him full force only to get up like it was nothing, and can take blows from Yang Xiao Long, with the blonde brawler herself being comparable to Mercury Black and Yatsuhashi Daichi, with the latter being capable of shattering a biome within Amity Colosseum with a swing of his sword, which would require 4.34 Tons of TNT to accomplish.

Adam should also be comparable to Blake Belladonna, who, alongside Yang Xiao Long, Weiss Schnee, and Ruby Rose, could survive a train crash with an impact of 7 Tons of TNT.

Ayden: Adam’s durability is courtesy of his aura, a manifestation of his soul, with his aura being colored Red.

Sun: An aura is used to act as a protective cloak around them that protects them, appearing whenever they are struck with blows to shield them from the damage and prevent them from being hit by an attack that would otherwise prove fatal to the aura User.

Ayden: Aura can also be used offensively to enhance the user's strikes, as demonstrated by the likes of Lie Ren and Fox Alistair, who showed that Aura can be used to enhance the strikes of their physical strikes to do massive damage to a King Taijutu and Ursa Major, with Blake Belladonna also demonstrating the ability to launch slashes of Aura out as Projectiles.

Sun: Aura is also capable of automatically healing minor wounds and can even enhance one's senses, enabling one to detect the presence of others even if they aren’t aware that they are actually Present.

Ayden: But his greatest use of his aura is through his Semblance.

Sun: A semblance is a more tangible projection of one’s aura as well as a manifestation of a person’s innate and personal power within them, which takes the form of a unique ability. A semblance varies from person to person, however, it is not uncommon for individuals to have Semblances that are similar in ability.

Ayden: Adam’s semblance is known as Moonslice, which allows Adam to absorb energy, store it away for when he needs it, and then release the stored energy back at its sender, with Adam showing that he is capable of absorbing the energy of projectiles such as bullets or even energy-based Based Projectiles.

Sun: Adam’s semblance is actually similar to how the semblance of Yang Xiao Long operates; however, unlike Yang Xiao Long, since Adam isn’t being hit when he absorbs the energy since he is blocking the attacks, he doesn’t feel the pain from the attacks that he’s absorbing. The tell that he’s absorbing energy or using his semblance is that his hair and attire emit a red Glow.

Agden: Not only that, but Adam is capable of quite a few things with his semblance, such as creating afterimages that have physical properties, launching projectiles in the form of slashes of crimson energy, launching shockwaves of energy by stabbing his weapon into the ground, or channeling it all into a single powerful slash that is even capable of disintegrating a target when enough Energy is stored up.

Sun: However, Adam wouldn’t be capable of all of this without his Weapon, Wilt and Blush.

Ayden: Wilt has the appearance of a traditional Japanese bokuto, who when he swings, seems to be able to release a trail of fire behind his swings, and through the use of Wilt, is capable of absorbing energy to utilize his Semblance.

Sun: Meanwhile, Wilt’s sheath is called Blush, which doubles as a gun, enabling Adam to fire bullets from the scabbard when Wilt is drawn or sheathed into the blade, launching Wilt at high speeds towards his Target.

Ayden: Adam uses these weapons and semblances in conjunction with Iaijutsu-style swordsmanship, where he quickly draws the sword for a strike and sheathes the Blade again.

Sun: With all of this and his own ambitions at his disposal, Adam has done a lot. He successfully performed a coup against Sienna Khan and became the Leader of the White Fang, took out swarms of Atlesian Knight-130s and Atlesian Soldiers alongside Ilia Amitola and Sienna Khan, held his own against the likes of Yang Xiao Long and Blake Belladonna, has senses sharp enough where he is capable of fighting while blindfolded, and was even capable of infiltrating an Atlesian Outpost. This guy can’t be stopped.

Ayden: Except for one thing… Obsession.

Sun: And so begins the downward Spiral that is Adam Taurus.

Ayden: Adam, while accomplishing his goals, "became obsessed with getting vengeance on the person that he believed wronged him for their betrayal, Blake Belladonna," which led him to take actions that not only put the goals of the White Fang at risk but also the lives of several other Members.

Sun: This has ultimately culminated in Adam losing the respect and loyalty of the White Fang when, during the attack on Haven Academy, Adam abandoned the members of the White Fang present after their plan had begun falling apart, which led him to kill them, and his emotional stability spiraled downward as he became obsessed with Blake, leading him to follow her to Argus and attacking her while she, RWBY, JNR, Oscar, Qrow, and Maria were in the process of trying to find a way into Atlas.

Ayden: After a brutal fight that spanned the base to the surrounding forest and eventually a cliff, Yang Xiao Long stepped in to fight Adam alongside Blake, and while Adam fought tenaciously and brutally. His instabilities ultimately led to his defeat and, not too long after, his death.

Sun: Oof….

Ayden: Regardless, one can’t deny Adam’s ambition was certainly one that the Remnant won’t likely forget for a long time, as well as the impact his Actioas ultimately had on the Faunus.

Adam Taurus: We can win a war against the humans. Not only because we have the support of Hazel's master, but also because the Faunus are the dominant species on this planet. We're better than humans. We have everything humans have and more. Humans shouldn't just fear the Faunus; they should serve the Faunus.

Kamen Rider Horobi[]

Sun: Somewhere in the 1960s, a company by the name of Hiden Intelligence was founded by Korenosuke Hiden, a company that specializes in the development of artificial humans with advanced A.I. that are practically impossible to separate from humans, called Humagears.

Ayden: Humagears were initially developed to act as family figures for young children, with Humagears of these types being known as “Parent-Type Humagears,” and these models were developed using the Humagear known as “Soreo Hiden,” something that’ll become important later on in this analysis, so put a pin in this note.

Sun: By the year 2007, a town called “Daybreak” was established to be used as a testing ground for Humagears, with Hiden Intelligence, ZAIA Enterprise, and ten other companies using a satellite known as the “Ark” to assist in the network of the town.

Ayden: However, the Project Manager of the Satellite Ark at the time, Gai Amatsu, fed the Ark with information on criminal psychology and the atrocities of human history, such as war, with this action resulting in the Ark concluding that humanity needed to be eliminated.

Sun: The Ark believed that so long as humanity continued to live, its own malicious existence would continue to exist, and it began using four highly intelligent Humagears to enact its plans to destroy humanity.

Ayden: By the time of December 2nd of that same year, a tragedy known as the “Daybreak Town Accident” occurred where the Ark had corrupted all of the Humagears and caused them to run amok and turn against humanity. However, among the Humagears, four Humagears of rather exceptional intelligence would be hacked and form the Cyber-Terrorist group known as MetsubouJinrai.net.

Sun: The Second Member was an autonomous-type humagear known as Jin, otherwise known as Kamen Rider Jin; the Third was a system engineer-type humagear named Naki, otherwise known as Kamen Rider Naki; and the Fourth was an astronaut-type humagear named Uchuyaro Raiden, otherwise known as Kamen Rider Ikazuchi.

Ayden: And then the leader and first member, a Parent-Type Humagear named Horobi, otherwise known as... Kamen Rider Horobi.

Sun: As a parent-type Humagear, you probably wouldn't imagine Horobi is capable of fighting. However, because of their nature, Humagears are physically superior to humans, with Assistant-Type Humagears like Izu herself displaying the capacity to move at great speeds and Horobi himself being comparable to the likes of Aruto Hiden, who could react to his own Rider Models being summoned. Along with this, Humagears are likely stronger than the likes of Isamu Fuwa, who can tear off a vehicle door with one arm.

Ayden: Along with that, Humagears are capable of a variety of features built into them, such as the replication of things such as techniques or movements that would typically require years to do, with Humagears capable of replicating them instantly.

Sun: Along with that, humagears like the ones at MestuboJinrai.net are in possession of an advanced form of this learning ability called “cognitive learning." This allows them to learn at an accelerated rate, thus enabling them to reach Singularity faster. However, it also allows them to adapt to the combat patterns of an opponent and incorporate them into their fighting style.

Ayden: Horobi, despite not being made for combat, is capable of engaging a variety of opponents with relative ease, such as facing down several Kamen Rider Abbadons of Think.net alongside Isamu Fuwa, Gai Amatasu, Yua Yaiba, and Jin, as well as engaging other Humagears and overpowering them, such as the Sold Magia’s or the Dodo Magia Chick.

Sun: It also helps that Horobi is skilled with a sword and carries around his trusty katana, which is sharp enough to be able to damage the Dire Wolf and Serval Tiger Sold Magia with just a single slash, and his sword just so happens to look like the High-Frequency Sword wielded by Raiden.

Ayden: Huh, yes, it does.

Sun: However, should Horobi require a lot more power and oomph when facing off against the more problematic opponents such as Kamen Riders or the various Kaijin in the form of Magia or Raiders, he can equip a belt-like device known as the ForceRiser and insert his own personal progrisekey, Sting Scorpion, into it.

Ayden: And by pulling the Force Executor and letting out a "Henshin,"  Horobi summons the Lost Model for the Sting Scorpion Progrisekey, which engulfs him, transforming him into Kamen Rider Horobi.

Sun: As a Kamen Rider, all of Horobi’s physical capabilities are dramatically increased, allowing him to go head-to-head against a wide variety of opponents, whether they be Kamen Riders or robotic Kaijin.

Ayden: As Kamen Rider Horobi, he is equipped with a wide variety of armor pieces, with the armor that makes up his Kamen Rider Form having a variety of purposes and functions that Horobi is capable of employing in combat.

Sun: Such as the Acid Analyze, which is a stinger unit mounted on Horobi’s left arm and allows him to generate various types of poisons that can not only affect living organisms such as humans but also electronic devices and robotic entities such as fellow Humagears, with the poisons developed by Horobi being perfectly capable of breaking down substances on a molecular level.

Ayden: Horobi administers these poisons through the telescopic needle on the tip of the Acid Analyze, with Horobi being able to either launch this stinger out akin to a rope dart, launch it out as a projectile to his target if he wishes to remain unseen, coil it around his limbs to imbue his strikes with poison, or detach the Acid Analyze from his arm to restrain a target or control it remotely.

Sun: Such as the Scorpion Goggles that make up the Facial Armoring, which are equipped with the visual devices and component analyzers that enhance the Acid Analyze’s ability to produce poison, and the Scorpion Scope, which is Horobi’s visual equipment, allowing him night vision, target tracking, and a scanning function utilizing X-ray and infrared rays.

Ayden: Both of these features can be utilized with the Scorpion Chelicera, which serves as the scorpion goggles’ component analyzer, in which images and scanned data captured are analyzed utilizing sixteen different analyzers with the compositions, properties, structures, and states of substances being measured regardless of their state as biotic or abiotic, which is then sent to the scorpion signal.

Sun: The Scorpion Signal is the green orb in the center of the helmet's forehead and serves as the construction component of the Scorpion Goggles, where, based on the information measured by the Scorpion Chelicera, it allows Horobi to construct a composite formula for the purpose of deconstruction, with the data of the created formula then being sent to the Acid Analyzer.

Ayden: Horobi has used these functions to his advantage, as well as the nature of the Acid Analyze, to often end fights quickly by utilizing the stinger unit as an improvised whip or delivering poison-infused strikes to his opponents, with his poison being potent enough to damage the likes of Kamen Rider Vulcan, Kamen Rider Jin, and even the Ark himself in the form of a Kamen Rider.

Sun: But Horobi doesn’t just rely strictly on hand-to-hand combat, even if he’s a total badass at it; he also utilizes his most trusted weapon, the Attache Arrow!

Ayden: The Attache Arrow is his primary and most signature weapon, being a mechanical bow that can fold into the shape of a suitcase, with the suitcase form being capable of operating as a shield. Within its Arrow form, it is capable of utilizing a component known as the Still Rapper to launch arrows of purple energy, which Horobi can launch out in a single burst, as a burst of rapidly fired arrows, or shoot in the sky and have rain down on his enemies in a hail of arrows.

Sun: Or he can fire charged arrows of energy known as “Kaban Shoot,” which Horobi can augment the power of by insertion of either the Amazing Hercules Progrisekey or Sting Scorpion Progrisekey into the Rise slot of the Attache Arrow, allowing him to fire empowered shots of either a Hercules’ beetle horn or an energy arrow that separates and homes in on the target.

Ayden: However, when Horobi wishes to finish off his enemies, by pulling the Execute Trigger of the Forceriser once, it allows him to perform a finish known as “Sting Dystopia,” in which Horobi can perform an attack infused with the poison created by the Acid Analyze and purple energy, with this attack often taking the form of various types of kicks, but his most signature is that of the franchise staple, a Flying Kick, otherwise known as a Rider Kick.

Sun: His second version, through pulling the Force Executor twice is called “Sting Utopia” in which Horobi ensnares his opponent with the stinger of the Acid Analyze before pulling them close and delivering a poison-imbued kick that pierces the target with the Stinger.

Ayden: With this, Horobi is an absolute force to be reckoned with and a very lethal Kamen Rider within the world of Kamen Rider Zero-One, having defeated practically every Rider that he’s come across. He has bested the likes of Aruto Hiden in combat on multiple occasions and held his own, bested Gai Amatsu as Kamen Rider Thouser despite having been defeated by him previously, overwhelmed the likes of Kamen Rider Vulcan without even flinching from his attacks, effortlessly defeated swarms of Kamen Rider Abbadons, and, with Aruto, permanently destroyed the Ark.

Sun: However, Horobi is not without his faults; Enough damage and enough force will cause Horobi's Rider Form to deactivate and he will change back into his Civilian Form.

Ayden: but when everything was said and done, after finally realizing that he too could feel the same feelings that humans could and after being freed from the cycle of malice by Aruto; Horobi, alongside Jin, Naki, and Ucharyo, reformed MetsubouJinrai.net, not as followers of the Ark but rather as protectors against malice who would stand against it and prevent the revival of what the Ark embodied.

Sun: So let this be a warning to all those who should bring about the rise of malice and the will of the Ark, as the Kamen Riders of MetsubouJinrai.net will be there to stand against you leading by the Man who helped kill the Ark.

Horobi: Starting today, MetsubouJinrai.net will be reborn. We will now stand guard against the malice of this world... to ensure that the Ark can never be revived.

DEATH BATTLE[]

Ayden: The Combatants are set. Time to settle this debate once and for all.

Sun: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!

Set - Adam Taurus VS Kamen Rider Horobi

Argus, Cotta-Arc Household

“Uh, guys?” Blake suddenly spoke up as she looked at her scroll, which caused the rather tense standoff between Ruby and her uncle Qrow to break as both looked at Blake along with everyone else to see what the faunus had to say.

“...Long-distance communication suddenly just returned online.” Blake revealed, earning a surprised look from everyone at this revelation.

“What?!” Jaune said as he took out his Scroll to see for himself, with Yang, Ruby, Qrow, Nora, Ren, and Weiss taking out their own Scrolls to see for themselves, and true to Blake’s words, long-distance communication, which had been offline due to the Cross Continental Transmit System within Vale having been destroyed, was now indeed back online.

“But… How…!?” Yang questioned this due to the fact that the only way that it could’ve been restored was if the CCT Tower at Beacon Academy was restored, which, as far as they knew, wasn’t possible yet as the academy was still being swarmed with Creatures of Grimm due to the petrified Wyvern.

Suddenly, the screens of their scroll distorted as a strange symbol appeared on them

(Cue Metsuboujinrai.net, Shingeki - Kamen Rider Zero-One)

Every device within Argus, whether it be a scroll, computer, television, or more, This very same symbol appeared on their screens, with even the Argus Military Base belonging to the Atlesian Military receiving this same symbol, and soon a broadcast began playing, revealing four armored individuals with different animal motifs, with said motifs being a falcon, wolf, dodo, and finally a scorpion.

These individuals were Kamen Rider Jin, Kamen Rider Naki, Kamen Rider Ikazuchi, and finally… Kamen Rider Horobi, with Horobi himself stepping forward and beginning to speak.

“Within this city, an individual serves as an agent of malice, and thus, the will of the Ark hides among you all. Searching for his prey with the intent of cutting her down and intending to spread his malice, something that he has already begun to do through his acts against the City of Vale as well as Beacon Academy, along with what he has attempted to do within the City of Mistral and Haven Academy.” Horobi revealed.

As Horobi spoke, several images and video recordings of a man cloaked in black appeared on the screen, and it was clear from both the visual evidence and the audio evidence that this figure had been seen roaming around Argus and that this individual was searching for someone.

“By tomorrow’s dawn, this agent of malice shall be eliminated, as will the ambition that his malice inspires.” Horobi declared as he pushed on the Force Executor of his Forceriser, which caused the Sting Scorpion Progrisekey within the Rise Loader of the transformation device to close, and promptly pulled it out, causing him to transform from his Rider form to that of his Civilian form.

“Adam Taurus of the White Fang, let the will of MetsubouJinrai.net be known to you. You will not escape us.” Horobi warned as the broadcast was reduced to static and ended.

The group's attention was quickly turned to Blake, as she looked horrified and looked as if she was on the verge of having a panic attack at the news that Adam was in Argus and that he was very clearly searching the city for her, which prompted Yang to quickly rush over to try and calm her down. However, before the others could run to assist her in trying to calm Blake down, a knock came from the door to the backyard.

Ruby, in a burst of rose petals and a blur of red, grabbed Crescent Rose and morphed it into its sniper rifle configuration as she took aim and slowly approached the door but didn’t open it.

After a tense and suspenseful silence, much to Yang and Blake's surprise, a voice that sounded like a young man did not belong to Adam.

“Yo. Is there a Team RWBY in there?” the Voice asked

Relay Tower

At the top of the relay tower that was utilized by the Atlesian Military and was drowned in complete silence, with the only source of sound that he would hear being the sound of the cold winds of Argus blowing, was Horobi who stood there. Keeping his eyes closed, Horobi didn’t move from his position and instead waited.

Naki and his friends within A.I.M.S managed to pull several strings to allow him entry here and ensure that the Atlesian Soldiers within Argus would not intervene in this mission but instead remain focused on protecting the city from potential attacks from the Grimm.

Horobi continued to keep his eyes closed, and soon enough, the sounds of someone landing on the platform were heard, and Horobi opened his eyes to see the target of his mission as standing across from him was Adam Taurus, no longer wearing his Grimm Mask but instead wearing a blindfold.

“You... I’ve heard of you.” Adam declared as he began walking along the platform with Wilt and Blush in his hands, prompting Horobi to do the same with his own katana in hand, the only thing separating them being the section of the relay tower.

Horobi remained silent as they continued circling the platform; however, despite his target's eyes being obscured by the blindfold, he knew that he was scanning the platform in search of the target that he had been truly after, and once it was clear that his target wasn’t present at the relay tower, Adam let out a frustrated growl as he turned his attention back towards Horobi.

“Where is she!?” Adam demanded, and Horobi stopped moving, remaining within his new position, which was now closer to the edge of the platform with the only thing keeping him from falling being the guard rails. With Adam believing that his new target was now cornered, he slowly advanced.

“Blake Belladonna is no longer within Argus.” Horobi revealed, and this gave Adam pause. Horobi was monitoring this and could identify that Adam’s frustration was beginning to give way to rage.

“What!?” Adam roared.

“We had known that she was the one that you were hunting down, so after the broadcast was done, I had one of our own collect them and ferry them to Atlas, where they had wished to go.” Horobi explained, and he noticed that Adam’s rage began increasing as his slow yet cautious walk soon turned into an impatient yet aggressive one, which was a sign for Horobi to prepare for the battle that was about to commence.

(Cue Shadows Of The Labyrinth - Persona 4 Arena Ultimax)

“Your hatred for that girl and the malice that you have spread shall be exterminated; I shall see to it." Horobi declared, and Adam lunged at the Humagear swinging Wilt with all his might in a horizontal swing; however, Horobi anticipated this and leapt backwards over the guard rails that had been serving to keep him from falling off the platform and let himself fall down into the forest below.

Horobi landed down on the ground in a crouching position, and the sound of branches being cleaved through was the only indication that he required, and he promptly drew his katana and stood up as he turned to look upwards and swung his blade, slashing through several tree branches that had been sent falling towards him before raising his blade and blocking a strike from Adam’s sword, causing a blade-lock to ensure as Adam landed down.

FIGHT!

Adam and Horobi pushed each other away, with Adam quickly closing the distance between them and swiping Wilt at his opponent, but Horobi swung his own katana and matched the strikes in a surprising burst of speed before promptly performing a sweeping slash at Adam's legs, but he leapt over the strike, and while in mid-leap above Horobi, he swung at the Humagear's head, only for Horobi to roll forward.

When Adam landed, he quickly spun to face Horobi’s direction and took aim with Blush before pulling the trigger on the gun scabbard and firing several bullets at Horobi. However, the Humagear spun around and swung his katana several times, cleaving the bullets in half. Horobi stood to his feet and charged forward at Adam, who was still firing Blush; however, Horobi continued cleaving through the bullets.

Once Horobi was close enough, he quickly leapt forward and delivered a flying kick to Adam’s chest, which knocked him back a bit, and Adam tried to aim Blush once again, but this was met with Horobi swinging his katana at the gun scabbard, which forced it to the side. Horobi swung his katana again, but Adam ducked under the strike and kicked hard at Horobi’s stomach, forcing him to take a step back before Adam placed a hand on the ground and moved his body before performing another kick that struck Horobi in the face.

Horobi was briefly stunned, and Adam swung Wilt in an upwards arc, the slash igniting the blade as it trailed fire behind it and struck Horobi, knocking him into the air. Adam quickly sheathed Wilt and delivered a powerful draw slash to the humagear, launching him away and sending Horobi slamming against a tree.

Adam dashed forward, sheathing Wilt and pulling the trigger on Blush, which launched out the Chokuto, with Adam grabbing the blade by the hilt and swinging it with great force; however, Horobi leapt into the air at the last possible second, allowing Adam to cleave through the tree cleanly. Horobi pushed himself away from the tree as it began to fall towards Adam; however, this was met with Adam delivering several quick slashes to the tree, cleaving it into several smaller logs.

Adam kicked several of the smaller logs that he had created towards Horobi, but each one was cleaved in half by Horobi or kicked away, which caused them to shatter into splinters before Horobi pointed his sword forward at Adam despite the distance between them.

Horobi slowly walked to the side, with Adam imitating the action as he aimed Blush at him; this slow walk quickly turned into a full sprint, with Adam firing several shots from Blush at Horobi, only to have them slashed apart. Upon seeing this, Adam slashed through several trees, causing them to fall toward Horobi, but he swiftly dodged each one.

Adam aimed Blush and fired several bullets at a couple of tree branches ahead of Horobi, causing them to fall in his direction, but they were promptly slashed through, with one being kicked towards Adam, but he slashed through it in response, and in a blur rushed at Horobi, with him quickly bringing up his sword as Wilt clashed against it, which had the effect of pushing Horobi back as Adam attempted to force his sword forward.

Horobi forced his sword, and by proxy, Wilt, to the side, which left Adam open, and in a swift motion, Horobi performed a push kick and struck Adam directly in the chest, pushing him back, and Horobi pointed his sword towards Adam once again before sheathing it, much to the Bull Faunus’ confusion.

“What is the meaning of this!?” Adam questioned, and Horobi did not respond, instead simply taking out the MetsubouJinrai Forceriser and promptly placing it onto the front of his waist, which caused the restraint bands to erupt from the left and right sides of the driver, and as this happened, Adam saw multiple spikes within the band that stabbed themselves into Horobi’s waist as the band tightened around himself with it announcing “Forceriser!” much to Adam’s confusion.

“This day shall serve as the end of your revolution.” Horobi stated as he held out his right arm, and within his hand was the Sting Scorpion Progrisekey.

“It will go down in history... as the end of the White Fang’s malice.” Horobi declared as he pressed down on the Rise Starter with his thumb, which briefly caused the Progrisekey to glow as it activated and announced, “Poison!”

Henshin.” Horobi said as he inserted the Sting Scorpion Progrisekey into the Rise Loader of the Forceriser, which soon caused a red light on the device to begin flashing red along with what sounded like an alarm to begin blaring as if trying to warn Adam of what was about to occur; however, what truly caught Adam’s attention was that for a brief moment, a projection of what looked like a schematic for a robotic scorpion appeared, and from that projection, the Sting Scorpion Rider Model materialized.

Adam took a step back in surprise, and Horobi pulled on the Force Executor, causing the Limit Anchor to be released and the Expanded Jack to spring open, forcibly opening and expanding the Progrisekey, which caused the Rider Model to turn around and stab Horobi in the chest with its stinger before using its master as leverage to lift and move itself behind Horobi as the Augment Suit formed on him, and soon enough, the Rider Model wrapped itself around Horobi and glowed before it exploded into armor pieces as multiple restraint cables prevented the armor from flying away and instead pulled the armor onto Horobi. Horobi had transformed into Kamen Rider Horobi, his rider form.

Sting Scorpion!

BREAK DOWN!

Adam growled, however, and he noticed that within Horobi’s hand was a case of sorts, and the Kamen Rider soon unfolded it, revealing it to be a mechanical bow with blades on each end, the Attache Arrow.

(Cue Frozen Heat - Fate/Empire of Dirt)

Horobi immediately took aim and pulled the Draw Extender of the Attache Arrow back and released it, firing an arrow composed of purple energy, which Adam quickly blocked with Wilt as he absorbed the energy. Horobi then fired more arrows in rapid succession, which Adam quickly dodged due to the little time he had to absorb them, and opened fire with Blush.

Adam and Horobi began sprinting as they did before, but this time, both were firing at one another, causing bullets and energy arrows to fly through the air as Adam and Horobi either dodged or deflected their respective projectiles or utilized the trees that they ran past as improvised cover.

This continued until Horobi and Adam took advantage of the opportunity to close the gap, and they eventually met in the center of their paths, with Adam swinging Wilt and Horobi blocking the strike with the kill upper of the attach arrow, causing a clash and sparks to erupt. Adam and Horobi repeatedly swung their weapons, but each strike was matched. As this continued, Adam began to notice something. Horobi was matching more and more of his strikes easily and more frustratingly, almost as if he were predicting that he’d make them before he even thought about it. Adam performed a slash at Horobi’s legs, but Horobi performed a dive roll and moved into a crouching position as he pulled back the Draw Extender.

Energy built up within the Still Rapper, and Horobi pulled the Attack Trigger as he released the Draw Extender, causing it to announce “Kaban Shoot!” and fired a charged energy arrow towards Adam, who quickly raised Wilt and used it to block the projectile as well as absorb it, but Adam found himself pushed back by the power behind the shot.

Horobi aimed the Attache Arrow and fired three Kaban Shoots into the air, which dispersed into a volley of energy arrows that rained down towards Adam, who quickly began dashing through the bombardment as best he could; however, he’d find himself struck by several of the arrows, sending him sprawling along the ground. When Adam moved to get up, he noticed something coiling around his legs, and he looked down to see the stinger unit of Horobi's Acid Analyze wrapped around his leg, and the Faunus soon found himself jerked through the air and slammed through several tree branches.

Horobi jerked his arm and used the stinger unit to swing Adam downward, slamming him into the dirt. Horobi then yanked his arm back, causing the stinger unit to retract to the Acid Analyze, which dragged Adam to Horobi, and once in front of him, the Kamen Rider stomped his foot hard onto Adam’s chest and pinned him as a result.

Adam grabbed Horobi’s leg and tried to force it off of himself, but he found himself unable to. Meanwhile, Horobi took out the Amazing Hercules Progrisekey and pressed the Rise Start with his thumb, causing it to activate and glow as it announced, “Strong!” Horobi then loaded it into the Rise Slot of the Attache Arrow, causing it to announce “Hercules Beetle's Ability!”

Horobi aimed the Attache Arrow down at Adam and pulled back the Draw Extender as energy built up within it; however, rather than the purple energy from before, instead, yellow energy appeared, causing Adam’s eyes to widen as Horobi released the drawing mechanism.

AMAZING KABAN SHOOT!

An energy arrow in the shape of a Hercules beetle's horn was fired from the Attache Arrow, striking Adam and hooking him by his midsection, sending him sliding through as the construct forced him through the ground as well as parting dirt before slamming Adam against a tree and exploding, launching Adam into the air and crashing through several branches.

Adam slammed into the top of a tree and crashed down to the ground, his aura briefly appearing but still intact despite the onslaught that he had just endured, and he managed to stand only to be met with a right hook from Horobi, which sent Adam back against the tree that he had crashed into as well. Horobi swung the Attache Arrow downwards, aiming to slash Adam with the Kill Upper; however, Adam quickly drew Wilt and blocked the strike, causing the blades to lock.

Horobi began forcing the Kill Upper closer to Adam despite Wilt intercepting the strike; however, Adam was managing to hold the strike back. In response, Horobi pulled the Draw Extender back several times and fired several energy arrows point blank at Adam, with each one striking him and causing his aura to flare as it began decreasing with each shot.

Adam let out an enraged roar, and the red accents of his attire and his hair glowed red as he released a burst of red and black energy from his body, which resulted in Horobi being pushed back. He looked forward only to quickly block several attacks from Afterimages composed of that same energy as Adam dashed forward and delivered an upward slash to Adam, creating sparks in the process.

Horobi looked forward, and Adam was gone, only to reappear behind the rider and slash him in the back, creating more sparks from the damage. Horobi quickly turned around to face Adam, but he was struck by a shockwave of red and black energy that sent him rocketing through several trees and sent him sliding along the ground before coming to a stop and laying on the ground with his back turned.

Adam approached Horobi with Wilt drawn and ready; however, his attention was drawn to the sound of the Sting Scorpion Progrisekey being activated as it announced, “Poison!” This was soon followed by the Attache Arrow being loaded with the Progrisekey as it announced, “Progrisekey confirmed, ready to utilize!”

STING KABAN SHOOT!

As swirls of purple energy formed, Horobi fired a golden-colored energy arrow towards Adam, who blocked it with Wilt and attempted to absorb the projectile; he was partially successful, but much to his surprise, the arrow separated into eighteen arrows positioned around him, and they all converged on him, striking him repeatedly and resulting in an explosion that sent Adam rolling along the ground.

Horobi lowered the Attache Arrow and pushed against the Force Executor, causing the Sting Scorpion Progrisekey to glow and the light on the Forceriser to begin flashing red as it began powering itself up, with Horobi then pulling the Force Executor, causing the Progrisekey to open once again.

Adam saw this and quickly got to his feet and sheathed Wilt in Blush as he began surging with the energy that he had absorbed from Horobi’s Sting Kaban Shoot. The red sections of his outfit and his hair began glowing red as he prepared himself.

The Sting Unit of the Acid Analyze extended from Horobi’s arm and coiled around his right leg, and he leapt into the air towards Adam and performed a flying Rider Kick as purple energy formed around his leg and a purple energy blade appeared.

STING DYSTOPIA!

Adam drew Wilt and performed a draw slash as he did so, releasing a singular slash of energy aimed at Horobi. With the two attacks clashing and attempting to overpower one another, which resulted in bursts of red, black, and purple energy, an explosion occurred.

Before Horobi knew it, he found himself launched into the air through several tree branches while Adam was launched in the opposite direction, and he found himself crashing into solid rock. He coughed a bit as he held his side in slight pain before pushing himself up and looking to see that he had been blasted out of the forest and onto a stone overpass in front of two waterfalls with a lake leading out to the sea.

Adam looked forward and saw smoke from the explosion he and Horobi had caused, so he reached out with his free hand and pulled his blindfold off, revealing his blue-colored eye with a grey sclera and an "S.D.C." insignia burned onto the left side of his face.

Adam looked and saw a figure emerging from the smoke, with the figure revealing himself to be none other than Horobi, with Adam growling in frustration before it gave way to laughter, which caused Horobi to tilt his head at the action.

“MetsubouJinrai.net?! Standing alongside the humans!? What kind of joke is this?!” Horobi did not respond to Adam's question, instead remaining silent.

“You claim that I’m an agent of malice; however, last I recall, you served the same purpose as you intended to destroy humanity yourself! What gives you the right to challenge my actions?!” Horobi decided to speak after Adam questioned him.

“You are right; I was once an agent of malice just as much as you are currently.” Horobi answered.

“Then you’re just like me!” Adam declared.

“Wrong.” Horobi stated.

“What?!” Adam said.

Horobi looked out to the sea that the waterfall and the lake below them connected to and thought to himself about the events that made up his and Metsubou Jinrai.net's crusade against humanity and their attempt to eradicate them, as well as Aruto Hiden’s stand against them, and how the Ark’s arrival was going to bring about more than just the destruction of humanity but also Humagears, his and Aruto’s descent as Incarnations of the Ark, and ultimately their freedom from it through one another.

Horobi looked back to Adam, and just from looking at Adam’s expression and his eyes, he could see nothing but hatred, malice, and rage within him from years of discrimination, torment, and bondage. Horobi knew those feelings far too well, even if they were not for the same reason as Adam's. However, he also knew... that Adam would not stop, and he could not be reasoned with because of the sheer intensity that these emotions held.

“Unlike you… I’ve seen the path beyond malice and hatred, one that can lead to the defeat of all malice and hatred.” Horobi declared, and Adam scoffed in disgust at what Horobi was saying and how similar it was to the prattles of peace that Ghira Belladonna often went on about and what Blake was foolish to believe in.

“What you’re talking about is impossible! Nothing like that can be achieved!” Adam roared, and Horobi didn’t react to this sudden outburst.

“They label us as monsters, and they have the nerve to expect us to forget the things that they’ve done to us and hold hands with them for something as false as peace?!” Adam questioned.

“And that is why you’re nothing more than an agent of malice that will be destroyed.” Horobi stated, and he readied the Attache Arrow while Adam readied Wilt and Blush before charging at one another.

Adam swung Wilt, but Horobi leapt over Adam and pulled back the Draw Extender as he fired another Kaban Shoot. However, Adam quickly spun around and blocked the projectile, sliding back but absorbing the energy. Horobi landed on the ground as Adam released the energy in the form of another shockwave, but Horobi dashed to the side to avoid it.

Adam fired another shockwave at Horobi, seemingly striking the Kamen Rider and kicking up smoke and dirt in the process, but soon a volley of energy arrows was fired from the smoke created by Adam being struck, which he managed to block and absorb a few but resulted in him being pushed back.

Adam looked forward as the smoke cleared, revealing the Acid Analyze slithering through the air around him, with it becoming clear that Horobi had used this to defend himself from the attack, with Horobi then holding his arm forward, which launched out the stinger towards Adam, who quickly swung Wilt to match the strike, with Adam leaping back as Horobi swung his arm repeatedly, using the Acid Analyze as an improvised whip.

Adam used Wilt to deflect and block each swing of the Acid Analyze before firing several shots from Blush at Horobi, who swung the Attache Arrow to cleave through the bullets before thrusting his arm towards the ground, launching the Acid Analyze into the ground with the stinger surfing through the stone and erupting from the ground upwards at Adam, who was struck but found himself unpierced by the stinger due to his aura, but he found himself knocked back.

The Acid Analyze coiled around Adam’s arm and Horobi yanked it back, which retracted it but also had the effect of yanking Adam through the rock ground, and he yelled out in pain as, while his Aura blocked it and managed to protect him, it didn’t prevent the pain of the process from taking effect as he was violently yanked through the ground and knocked out the other end, breaking it as he was pulled out the other end, with Horobi using this opportunity to slash Adam with the Kill Upper of the Attache Arrow.

Adam was sent rolling back against the ground before rising to his feet, and Horobi walked forward as Adam fired more bullets from Blush, but Horobi swung the Attache Arrow rapidly, using the blades on the weapon to slash through the bullets and, once close enough, deliver a swift spin kick to Adam, which forced him back and sent him rolling along the ground, but he quickly recovered into a crouching position.

Adam released two afterimages towards Horobi, and he swung at them, but they managed to avoid the strike and began circling around him. Horobi didn’t flinch and swung the Attache Arrow around him, performing a 360-degree slash, striking and cleaving through the afterimages before firing several rapid-fire shots of energy arrows from the Attache Arrow, with Adam quickly raising Wilt and using it to block and absorb the energy arrows.

Horobi walked forward as he continued firing energy arrows from the Attache Arrow, with Adam absorbing each shot fired as the red accents on his clothing and his hair began glowing with energy, and Adam couldn’t help but smirk darkly as he prepared to utilize his semblance once again to end his opponent.

Once Horobi was close enough, Adam sheathed Wilt into Blush and pulled both back before performing a draw slash and launching out a crescent-shaped energy slash, this one being far stronger than the one he had used against the Sting Dystopia due to the larger amount of energy that he had acquired, and Adam seemingly struck Horobi, causing everything to turn red, with the only thing visible being Adam’s silhouette illuminated by the red of his outfit, before he sheathed Wilt back into Blush and everything returned to normal.

In truth, Horobi had leapt over his attack at the last moment and landed behind Adam, and by the time Adam noticed that there was no sign of Horobi, he realized what had happened, but by that point, it was already too late.

Adam moved to turn around only to be interrupted by the Acid Analyze coiling around Wilt and Blush, which was then yanked out of his hand as Horobi pulled it into his own and had the stinger of the Acid Analyze stab into it as he glanced at the weapon, causing the Scorpion Goggles, the Scorpion Chelicera, and the Scorpion Signal to activate as it developed a poison that broke down the Chokuto and Gun-sheath, much to Adam’s horror.

“NO!” Adam roared out as he rushed at Horobi with his fist pulled back, throwing a punch; however, Horobi easily predicted this and countered it with a hard punch to Adam’s face before pushing down on the Force Executor of the Forceriser before pulling it and activating his finisher as he used Sting Dystopia to deliver a poison and purple energy-infused roundhouse kick to Adam, which struck him and launched him back, sending him crashing into the ground.

A red shimmer of aura appeared over Adam before shattering completely, and with this, Horobi pushed the Force Executor and then pulled it back, but he immediately pushed it back and opened it again as he prepared his second finisher.

Horobi held up his left arm as the Acid Analyze extended, and he thrust his hand outward, which launched out the stinger as it suddenly coiled around Adam’s body, binding his arms to his side, with the Bull Faunus thrashing in agony as the stinger damaged him and caused him to spark with red electricity as he was jerked towards Horobi with the Acid Analyze uncoiling from around him, but the momentum that it pulled him with made it so that he couldn’t stop.

The Acid Analyze coiled around Horobi’s leg, releasing powerful surges of poison as he performed a straight-side kick to Adam. A purple energy blade formed around the stringer of the Acid Analyze, causing it to impale Adam in the chest and exit out of his back, causing blood to splatter out from the exit wound and causing him to be injected with poison that began breaking him down.

Adam attempted to scream in agony, but this resulted in him coughing up a mix of blood and poison as the blade retracted and Horobi let his opponent drop to the ground as he continued to surge with red electricity. As the poison began breaking him down, the only thing Adam could do was let out a defiant, rage-fueled yell at his opponent as Horobi turned his back on him and began walking away as an explosion erupted and engulfed Adam.

STING UTOPIA!

STING UTOPIA!

The defiant yell was soon silenced, and as the explosion cleared, nothing remained of Adam as a result of the poison breaking him down and the explosion that engulfed him with Horobi pushing the Force Executor and pulling the Sting Scorpion Progrisekey out of the Forceriser, causing him to change out of his Kamen Rider form.

"As I said, this day will be remembered as the end of the White Fang's malice." Horobi said as he walked away.

K.O!

Conclusion[]

(Cue REAL×EYEZ - J featuring Takanori Nishikawa)

Sun: And so, Sharkface has been avenged, and an agent of the Ark’s will has been destroyed.

Ayden: Despite Adam’s tenacity and the nature of his semblance, Horobi held many more advantages that he needed to win this fight and could handle anything that Adam threw at him.

Sun: Let’s start with speed. Adam was capable of keeping pace with individuals like Blake and Yang, who scaled to speeds of Mach 11 and even feats of Mach 21, which is rather impressive. Horobi, on the other hand, could keep up with the likes of Aruto Hiden, who could react to his own Rider Models being summoned outside of his Rider Form.

Ayden: The Rider Models that Aruto utilizes to transform into Kamen Rider Zero-One are supplied by the Satellite Zea, which is located in space, with said Rider Models being beamed down to Earth at Aruto’s current position, the speed of which is 20000000 m/s. In order to react to this, Aruto would need to be moving at speeds of 5217391.30435 m/s, putting him at sub-relativistic speeds in terms of his reaction and higher in his Rider form.

Sun: And this was Aruto at the VERY beginning of Zero-One, meaning that Aruto later on is likely much faster, but Horobi has not only defeated Aruto on multiple occasions but has fought against individuals far stronger than Aruto’s initial forms, like Kamen Rider Thouser and the Ark, and has even kept pace with Aruto while he was within Kamen Rider Zero-Two, which is vastly stronger than any and all of Aruto’s previous forms.

Ayden: While Adam was more than strong enough to eliminate Horobi while he was in his civilian form, he didn’t have the speed necessary to deliver a killing blow to guarantee himself a victory, and once Horobi had transformed, that window had been closed due to the sheer gap in power between them while Horobi was in his Rider form.

Sun: So remember how Zea beams the Rider Models down to Aruto so that he can transform? The Rider Models are capable of parting the clouds during the process of entering the Earth’s atmosphere, something that would require 25 megatons of TNT to accomplish, and given that the Rider Models make up the armoring of the Riders, riders like Zero-One and Horobi are that strong!

Ayden: Even more so, because, as stated by Gai Amatsu, the riders of Zero-One have their strength increased via multipliers due to the technology that makes up the Rider Forms and their access to said technology, this would mean that Horobi's power would have increased to the point where Adam reliably cannot do any lasting damage or dish out enough damage to force Horobi out of his Rider Form in order to end the fight.

Sun: Even if Adam COULD force Horobi out of his Rider form, the potency of Horobi’s cognitive learning would’ve enabled him to adapt to Adam’s fighting style and thus predict as well as counter any and all killing blows that Adam would’ve tried to go for, and his speed would’ve further cemented it, giving him an opportunity to simply change back into his Rider form.

Ayden: Even IF Horobi wasn’t that strong, he didn’t need raw power to win; all he needed was the Acid Analyze and his Rider Forms ability to create poison.

Sun: Along with the various armor pieces capable of creating poisons that can break down both organic and inorganic entities, the information provided by the armor pieces makes it clear that the poisons that they develop for Horobi to use are SPECIFICALLY made for the given opponent that he’s fighting, meaning that he could develop a poison that was specifically made to kill Adam.

Ayden: Not only that, but Adam has shown no resistance to deconstruction on a molecular level, and Aura has not shown that it is capable of protecting an Aura user from such a threat, meaning it’s very unlikely that Adam would have been able to defend against it.

Sun: Meaning that all Horobi had to do was simply wear down Adam’s aura until he could land a killing blow, which would’ve made it a battle of attrition, something that Horobi is more than capable of employing due to his nature as a Humagear, meaning that he doesn’t require food, water, or other necessities like Adam would've, and Adam using his semblance would’ve only sped up this process.

Ayden: Horobi’s speed and cognitive learning would’ve sped it up even more so, as Adam’s aura also wouldn’t have been able to heal him if Horobi had landed a major injury during the process of wearing his aura down.

Sun: Now we know what you’re probably thinking, “The Attached Arrow utilizes energy-based projectiles, and Adam’s semblance can absorb them; wouldn’t Horobi be giving Adam the energy that he needed to use his semblance and deal out an attack capable of forcing him out of his rider form?”

Ayden: While it’s true that the Attache Arrow uses energy-based projectiles, which means that Adam would be capable of absorbing them, the Attache Arrow has methods of firing its projectiles that would enable it so that Adam wouldn’t be able to absorb much energy.

Sun: It can fire energy arrows into the air with a Kaban Shoot that will turn it into a volley of energy arrows or utilize the Sting Scorpion Progrisekey to turn a single shot into one that will separate into more and converge on Adam, with Adam consistently showing that while he can absorb energy in rapid succession or as a continuous beam, it must DIRECTLY hit Wilt for him to be able to absorb it.

Ayden: Not only that but once Wilt and Blush are removed from Adam’s possession, he loses access to his single method of absorbing energy meaning that he’d be incapable of defending against the very type of attacks that his semblance is geared towards capitalizing on.

Sun: Plus the Attache Arrow had far more applications such as functioning as a bladed weapon meaning that Horobi didn’t even have to resort to projectiles to fight against Adam thus keeping him from using his semblance to begin with.

Ayden: To be blunt, Horobi’s superior speed, arsenal, learning abilities, and lethal poison capabilities were just too much for Adam to ultimately handle.

Sun: Ayden! Do the thing!

Ayden: Adam’s weapon is Wilt and Blush, but Horobi made him feel his guilt and hushed! Now that’s… A show by Ayden!

Sun: The Winner is Kamen Rider Horobi!
