Hazbin Hotel vs Live A Live! Man's fallen pretty far....
Introduction[]
Necro: Adam, The First Man and Hazbin Hotel's Genocidal Angel
Mercer: Oersted, The Hero of Lucrece and LIVE A LIVE's Lord of Dark.
Necro: These two once stood for the best of humanity, but would fall to become the worst kind of scum, consumed by hatred and arrogance. But which of these two are the deadliest?
Mercer: He's Necro and I'm Mercer.
Necro: And It's out job to analyze their weapons, armor and skills to find out who would win...
Mercer: A DEATH BATTLE!
Adam is Forever in DEATH BATTLE![]
( Cue: Hell is Forever)
Necro: In the beginning, Heaven created Earth and people the walk upon it. The first man, was Adam. Created alongside Lillith, the first woman, Adam assumed a dominant role in the relationship, causing Lillith to leave him for the recently fallen angel Lucifer. He would later take a second wife, the much better known Eve.
Mercer: ...Who cheated on him with Lucifer, which would lead Adam to become the first sinner alongside Eve. Ouch. Adam kinda just lived his life and died, eventually becoming the first mortal soul to enter Heaven. There, Adam became an angel. After spending thousands of years up there, Adam was appointed a very important job. See, Hell was starting to get mighty full, and Heaven was feeling pretty antsy.
Necro: So following in most biblical nations footsteps, Heaven ordered a yearly genocide of sinners, dubbing it the Extermination. And who better to lead it than the first man, who had probably the most personal grudge against Lucifer, Adam. Gifted with his own personal army known as Exorcists, Adam and his right hand lady Lute became the greatest threat Hell had ever faced.
Mercer: There was catch though. See, Heaven didn't quite care for being known for Genocide, so Adam was ordered to keep his actions secret. And despite being the first sinner, Adam followed his orders to the letter, slaughtering any sinner he came across on the yearly while keeping his actions on the downlow, which given his personality...
Adam: Do you know who I am? I'm fucking ADAM. I'm the ORIGINAL DICK! All dicks descend from ME!
Necro: Is quite impressive.
Mercer: Speaking of impressive, as the General of the Exorcists, Adam has numerous powers at his disposal. He can fly, create portals, shoot beams of holy light, summon both angels and his guitar axe and use a form of Astral Projection to visit other realms without being there, as well as interact with that world while remaining intangible himself.
Necro: Adam has also displayed the ability to create clouds and light, as well as Telekinesis, as he can wield his axe without touching it. He's also displayed a kind of regeneration, as he was able to quickly heal from a semi-serious stab wound.
Mercer: But Adam's by far most potent abilities are his own nigh invulnerability as an Angel, and his ability to permanently kill Sinners. See, in this particular version of Heaven and Hell, Angels are effectively immortal, seemingly in a way similar to Sinners, who can't permanently die due to having already experienced death. Adam himself is about 4.8 Billions years old, making him ageless. Angels are also able to shrug off notable injuries, as shown by Lute, who ripped her own arm off and was still able to fight and function with ease.
Necro: Adam can kill these sinners with the use of his Guitar Axe, which is constructed from Angel Steel which destroys souls. His holy laser beams are also just as capable of killing sinners, making Adam's attacks far more deadly than your standard hacks and slashes. Angels also seem to be difficult, perhaps even impossible to harm without the usage of Angel Steel weapons.
Mercer: When it comes to the abilities Adam actually uses in combat, he's shown to use his superhuman strength, holy light beams and his guitar axe.
Necro: While he's shown the ability to summon his exorcists, he hasn't done so in a combat scenario. Just when he sang the best song in the show. That said, it likely wouldn't be out of character for him to do so, given how willing he is to leave things to his subordinates.
Mercer: He's also shown himself to use portals to send his opponents away when he's not taking them seriously. Though when he does take an opponent seriously, like Alastor or Lucifer, he only seems to make use of his brute strength, axe, beam attacks and flight.
Necro: One wouldn't expect such a change in tactics from such a seemingly obtuse guy, but he's shown a surprising mind for manipulation and more subtle methods of psychological warfare.
Mercer: I mean, he is the first man.
