Really liked the episode! The jank and visuals looked a bit off at points, but I loved everything else! Except the alternate ending. I feel like that felt really forced... Still a 9/10 episode for me though! And SpawnRider is next woohoo!
I would say that's pretty impressive actually! 11,000 words are a lot for only the fights! Even when considering the fact that you had more free time this year, there were still probably other stuff more important than fanon battles to do like spending time with friends and family, experiencing new media, going on bike rides, etc. However, if you still feel like you could have done more, there's always this year! I haven't even finished my first battle yet so you have nothing to be ashamed of compared to me!
Finished reading EVERYTHING (that's gotta be a record for most connections ever right?) and wow, does your passion and love for this matchup shine through! This matchup is easily my favorite for both, so glad more people can see that with this revamp! You did it justice tenfold!

Meta Knight absorbs the electricity from the joy-con and summons lightning from the heavens down at Squirtle!
Meta Knight sliced through the bullet fired at him and quickly flew to the beam of water Squirtle had shot. He absorbed the water into his blade and slashed it at Squirtle, sending a mini tsunami his way!
Meta Knight saw Squirtle breaking the rocks and sent more his way. He then swooped downwards, dodging his own rocks while trying to get closer to the turtle.

Meta Knight quickly observed the competition and lifted his blade
"BEHOLD MY POWER!"
From the sky, huge rocks were sent down to crush the competitors!
Meta Knight struggles under the increased gravity, his feet shaking under pressure. He then suddenly disappears and reappears in a location far from Bowser. He sighs as the gravity effect wears off.
"What a foul trick. I must be careful of this Bowser..."
Meta Knight changed his mask with a new one and looked over at the contestants entering the yellow beacon. He swiftly swoops to the yellow beacon and enters it.
Meta Knight was sent flying into the sky. He rearranged himself midair and smirked under the mask. He had felt no pain!
"Hiyah!"
Meta Knight summoned lightning down from the sky to strike Bowser! While doing so, he swooped downwards and started slashing at Bowser, trying to get him off balance!
Meta Knight lifted his blade and absorbed both blasts! His body became rainbow colored and a triumphant expression appeared beneath his mask.
"Behold my power!"
Meta Knight parried the incoming sun with his blade and sent it back at Bowser! Meta Knight then surrounded and trapped Bowser with huge boulders!
(Oh my bad! I fixed it!)
Meta Knight, done observing Popeye, swoops down right in front of Bowser, blocking him from his previous combatant. He passes Bowser a small sword and stares him down, despite his far smaller height .
"Tricks involving tools do not satisfy me. I desire a true fight from a powerful warrior. Pick up the blade and duel me!"

Meta Knight was meanwhile observing Popeye, the only other person who seemed to be not fighting. The sailor appeared to be weak but something was off about him... Meta Knight quickly pulled out his sword and slowly advanced towards the sleeping toon.
Meta Knight was in the corner of the room, examining everyone silently. He was catching up on all their weaknesses and attributes. He surprisingly found stupidity to be a common trait among the contestants present.
Metal Sonic raised the score for Bowser vs Eggman by ten entire points! It's now a 20/10!
