As I once said in this thread:
Y'know what, gave me some ideas for the Indie Game Subspace Emissary crossover fanfiction just incase I decided to make it.
I am going to write the Indie Chronicles! Just needed to make a thumbnail/cover of it and a lot of planned-out chapters soon first...
Although, I can't think of anything for the first chapter for Indie Chronicles (Aka a Introduction to the fanfic) and it would be quite fun to suggested some ideas from you. So, I made this thread! You can give me any ideas at all for either suggested characters, chapters, and anymore!

Core Thematics: Close-eyed main protagonists of surreal classic indie-RPGs who venture through their realms while utilizing a special mantra that serves as their power-source able to change their very worlds. Depending on the routes, the player could either allow them to erase everything or go against this decision entirely. Similar 4th-Wall breaking shtick where the player is acknowledged within the context of their characters while also serving as their guides throughout the game.
Detailed, General Connections:
Both are the close-eyed main protagonists towards the surreal classic indie-RPGs. Though subverting the "blank-slate" formula, you, the player, is acknowledged, albeit by a select few, yet notable NPCs.
You, the player, serve a similar role in their quests to help guide and influence the protagonist's choices whilst exploring their realms (The Underground and various Zones), and even their games to an extent.
Both are noted for their iconic mantras (Determination and Purification), though while they do indeed serve as the driving force towards their progress, they also serve as a power-source and their core for existing (Frisk's Determination in particular being the core of their soul, and Batter being Purification Incarnate). In fact, it can be said that their mantras hold somewhat of a religious similarity, a gift given to both protagonists to not only keep them perpetually alive in the game, but also give them the power to overcome their worlds.
The powers of these mantras allows them to change the very nature of their realms (Frisk's Determination making them able to manipulate the natural flow of timelines, and Batter's purification sending Zones and everything into the Nothingness).
In the first stage of their games, both start in rather mundane areas that's catered towards teaching them the fundamentals of combat and puzzles, mostly the latter (The RUINS and Zone 0).
The second area has them learn of the nature and history of their worlds (The many ancient glyphs that go over the War Of Humans and Monsters, and the various books within the library that goes over the rules of Zones and the Queen establishing them to certain bosses).
The third area has them venture through business establishments and factories (Hotland/MTT Resort and Zone 3) that's managed by a condescending and arrogant character who takes great pride in their positions (Mettaton taking their position as a performer with great strides, and Enoch treating his position as Zone Ruler as a God). The protagonists would also dismember these bosses (Mettaton's limbs getting removed by Frisk's soul attacks, and Batter beheading Enoch).
Early in the game, both are greeted by a mysterious and eternally smiling character (Sans and Pablo The Judge) who offers the protagonists assistance if need be. Both also reveal the nature of the protagonist's powers to the player late into the game (Sans explaining the misdirection that LV and EXP entails, and Pablo explaining what Purification actually entails).
Both would meet one of the most bizarre characters in the game that serve as shopkeepers who also hold history within their realms (Zacharie and Temmie). Their weird natures could be attributed to their acknowledgement towards the 4th-Wall. They also gifts the protagonists the most busted items in the games, albeit if certain conditions are met (Temmie Armor can only be bought if the player pays for Temmie's college funds along with dying a lot just to lower the price enough, and The Ashley Bat being accessible after collecting all of the five hidden Grands from purified areas and killing off a hidden boss).
Both are fated to fight against a royal parental figure who governs their realms and assigned the various bosses in protecting it (Asgore Dreemurr and Queen).
Both are vaguely linked towards a child character with reality warping prowess (Asriel Dreemurr and Hugo) who oversee the protagonist's actions in the offset. The protagonists also seem to resemble the child character's close ones (Frisk bearing a huge resemblance towards Chara, and Batter seemingly based off of Hugo's father). In fact, in the last areas in the game, being a gray and lifeless area (New Home and The Room) is where the protagonists learn of these characters and the royal bosses ahead of them.
Both are hinted at being prophesied as saviors (Frisk could be linked towards the legend of an "angel" that's seen the surface to descend from above and bring the monsters freedom, whereas The Batter is labeled as a prophet by the citizens, a person who'd be able to cast away the impure spirits), though these prophets also comes with another meaning (Said prophet for Frisk's end can also be interpreted as "Angel Of Death" who would free the monsters from the mortal realm, and Batter having obvious symbolism of the end-bringer).
They are often portrayed with stoic demeanors, their neutral expressions often used and seen for comedic relief, but depending on choices, said demeanors can be seen as unsettling.
Both canonically have access to Save Files (Frisk's Save Points being a notable staple in Undertale, whereas The Batter's Save Files and to extent the game mechanics as a whole is addressed), though these Save Files can seemingly be manipulated by higher beings (Omega Flowey breaking Frisk's files and, Queen creating and manipulating The Batter's files to halt his progress).
They have both ridden on ducks to travel short distances (Bird That Carries You Over A Disproportionately Small Gap and the Pedal).
Pacifist Route Frisk:
They venture through their realms with the goal of "freeing" the citizens of their misery brought on by royalty (Frisk wanting to free the monsters from the Underground, and Batter wanting to destroy Spectres that plagued the various Zones).
Both the world and characters treat the protagonists like anomalies that need to be stopped (Frisk being the Seventh Human who must be captured, and Batter who goes against the established rules and norms of their environments).
Obvious contrast in that their goals of "freeing the world" holds different meanings, where Frisk wants to help the monsters break the barrier, and Batter destroys impure Spectres and creatures.
Genocide Route Frisk:
Both of their quests revolves around causing genocide against various enemies (Monsters and Spectres) and defeating the big bosses (The Boss Monsters and Zone Guardians).
Their mantras are what helps increase the LV/XP in the protagonist, which is also in part of them corrupting their worlds.
They would meet the eternally smiling characters (Sans and Judge) yet again, this time as the last line of defense. Alternatively however, the player is given the choice to go through their suggestions (The Player not coming back to finish the Sans fight, and The Judge allowing The Player to control them to stop Batter)
After going through the many bosses, their last obstacle would be the aforementioned child characters (Asriel and Hugo) where the protagonists actively attack until they are nothing.
Once defeating just about every enemy in the game, the player after learning the consequences of their actions, are given the choice to either fully go through with genocide (Commanding Frisk to go with Chara's proposal and ERASE the world, and commanding Batter to turn the switch OFF) or go against the completion process (Refusing Chara's proposal even if they'll do it anyways, and The Player controlling Judge to kill off Batter).
Ok so this is something that has just really really bothered me for a while with frisk on this wiki and in vs in general, people keep acting like genocide and pacifist frisk are the same character but thats just, not true, quite frankly they are same in name only and that is all, I’m actually gonna link my full explanation from my r/dbm post that also talked about this because i do not feel like rewriting it all again.
Please read it through if you want, i just wanted to get this off my chest.
The one/My Preferred: Ness (Earthbound)
Good Alts: The Batter (OFF), Chosen Undead (Dark Souls), John Eggbert, OMORI
Fine: Pink Knight (Castle Crashers), Niko (One-Shot), Henry Stickmin (THSC)
Meh: The Vessel (Hollow Knight), Isaac (TBOI), Everyone else
No Thanks: I Don't think they have any bad MU's
I remember a few years ago seeing a fight here between Frisk and Master Hand that had an hilariously over-the-top kill with frisk screaming "TASTE THE RAINBOW MOTHERFUCKER" and i can't find it, is there any chance it got archived?

Frisk/Chara VS Troll Face/Trollge (Undertale VS The Internet/Trollge Incidents)
Connection: Two happy and cheerful famous characters who loves doing stuff they like (Frisk helping and mercy other peoples and Troll Face trolling other peoples or his friends) As they went around to seek other peoples to meet, As they find new items to play/get with. As they have many friends to play with (Frisk with Papyrus, Sans, Toriel, Undyne, Asgore and Etc. Troll Face with Cereal guy, Rage Face, Etc.). But than after one thing they did (Frisk started to kill one monster and Troll Face doing his first steps), Something were now inside of them, as these two were Two evil lookalike of them who wanted to destroy everything (Chara and Trollge) and seeming control the peoples they met (Chara taking over Frisk after she killed every monsters but not sans and Trollge taking over Troll Face after he's completely the steps). they soon begin to kept on doing it to other peoples (Frisk killing other monsters and Trollge becoming a monster/God to killed other peoples), As they were fighting someone who needed to stop them (Sans for Chara and The Military for Trollge) As well many many other versions of them (Undertale AUs and Trollge Incidents-Verse), but in one timeline, they managed to not do the stuff they did in the other timeline (Frisk instead Mercy the monsters instead of killing them and No Incidents Troll Face instead became happy instead of doing the other trollge do). As they kept on dying everytime on timeline (Chara kept on dying to Sans and Troll Face dying to other monsters in his world by trying to do his steps)
Song Track: Step 1: Mercy
Heh... Other MU I found connection with...
Connections: Both are from imfamous/disliked song parodies based on video games.

Does anyone have any battles they want to make a cameo in Odin Lewis vs Frisk? There is no set number planned so I'll accept all of them
