Greetings, folks, and welcome to the final RFA of the year! 2024 went by shockingly fast, and, for this somewhat special occasion, I have gathered a whole heapload of news, some you've heard before, some are revelaed here, some are good, some are bad, you know the gist. Well, without any further ado, let's get right into it, shall we?

First of all, we obviously gotta discuss the biggest project at the moment, and that being Xavier vs ENA. I am trying my absolute hardest to get it out on the 30th, and while the chances do look very promising, I cannot assure you this will go smoothly. It may be moved, but let us hope I can make it.

On the topic, let me talk about the battle itself a bit. I feel as though this will be far more of a mixed bag than any of my other battles, largely due to the fact the direction I went with it might not be for everyone. This is making me a good bit nervous and, honestly, hesitant to actually release it, but, overall, I still would consider it my best work, and people who enjoy either or both shows will probably like this fight too.

Oh, yeah, it's also my longest fight yet. And, with that, probably my longest one ever. Let me elaborate.

Starting next year, I will not be putting my main focus on battles. I currently have my own original project planned (for which I willl reveal a teaser on New Years Eve), and I predict that this will eat up most of my time. Additionally, there are other ideas I want to give more of my attention to, like rap battles, collabs, community projects (more on all of those later), and all that fun stuff.

Does that mean I'll stop making battles? Hell no. It just means that; 1. They will not come out as regularly as this year, and 2. They will not be as long as most of this year's. Seriously, two thirds of my fights this year are over 10K words long. I wrote four finale-worthy episodes basically. Rest assured, I won't repeat that. Expect shorter and less regular fights, but also more regular side projects I'd usually either cancel or forget about.

Speaking of cancelling, this is also something I want to avoid going forward. I have made a lot of project announcements this year, and most have, bluntly, failed. Pretty badly. I want to apologize for not sticking to what I said I'll be doing, which is why I probably won't announce any more projects until they are either close to completion or 100% gonna happen.

Now that the general stuff is out of the way, it's time we look at singular projects. This section's gonna be fairly long, so I'll keep each piece of news rather short.

Cryptoland vs Yapdollar Rap Battle: My next project after Xavier vs ENA. Should drop around January/February.

Santa Claus vs Count Dracula DBX: Dropping some time next year. Not sure when. Might turn it into a mega-collab.

Luigi vs Tails Rap Battle: Dropping some time in 2025/2026.

Lord English vs Johnny English DBX: Some time in 2025/2026. I had no idea how to make this work for the longest time, but I think I've got a good general frame narrative now.

Wrestler For Hire Re-Take: Unsure between cancellation or postponage. Is that the noun for postpone? I have no idea.

DBF Interviews: Didn't have much motivation for this series recently. Insanely sorry about that. I'll try getting one more out this year, then hopefully (bi-)monthly releases starting next year.

Worst TN Competition: Whenever I have the time and motivation.

Speedrun Showdown: Same as above.

Same-Name Melee: Who still remembers Same-Name Melee? Will happen occasionally among the other rap battles.

Edward Scissorhands vs Freddy Krueger Rap Battle: Possibly this October. Speaking of.

RandomTober 2025: Might happen again next year.

One-Minute Melee: Might venture into these. They sound fun.

UISBR 2: Fate is still unknown. Leaning towards cancellation. General series finale is still on the table though.

Now, with singular projects out of the way, time to discuss general series of mine.

I aim on making more rap battles in 2025, as I have the best and most peak ideas the world has ever seen, like The Dude vs Postal Dude, Chiaki Nanami vs George Wood, DS vs Necropantser, something Touhou related, yada yada yada. Peak is imminent.

As with DBXs, there will probably also be a couple of those here and there. I don't have any ideas in particular (or at least none I have revealed yet...), so I'd be open for requests.

For actual Death Battle scripts, I'd have a lot of ideas in my mind, but I'm not quite sure which of them to do. Expect polls surrounding those early next year. I can say, however, you will absolutely adore the next one.

Last but not least, I'd like to end this episode of RFA with a general message to all of you; Thanks.

Having come here about a year ago now, I can't say I would've predicted I'd have such a good time here. I've met plenty of people I now consider friends of mine, and I hope I can meet more in the future. I've gotten a lot better in writing than I would've without the wiki. Frankly, I'm not sure I'd even be here today if it weren't for this place. As my first major community I'm an active member of, I'd say I struck gold. Thank all of you for an amazing year, and I hope I can spend many more here.

Welcome to another installment in Random's Friday Announcements! You know the drill, do let's not waste anymore time and get right in!

First up, after months of work, I can finally say that Black Hat vs The Warden has released! Based on the public reception so far, this one may have knocked the UISBR off it's Magnum Opus Throne, so if you haven't already, give it a read yourself!

As for what's next, most people probably know that already, but if you don't, wait until Sunday for a (little useless) public announcement! To give you an idea, I plan to write the script in the style of Dead Meat Trailers, so make sure to keep an eye peeled out for that!

A big thing regarding DBF Intervies was supposed to say either last or this week, but after several complications, I'm disappointed to say that specific thing got cancelled [NOT DBF Interviews itself]. I won't mention what it was, in case I get the drive to do this later on.

The Ultimate Internet Series Tournament returns... whenever I get the time to start working on it. My schedule's kinda packed right now, and I'm faced with 2 weeks worth of content for UISBR 2 research, but I'll still try and start work on it pretty soon.

Last but not least, some new rap battles should be on the way soon. I've garnered several cool and interesting ideas, and I can't wait to bring them to fruition and show them to y'all!

Black Hat vs The Warden will, most likely, release this month! I'm hoping I can get it done by the thirtieth, so fingers crossed I don't slack off. You can go vote on the poll I made for it a few hours ago if you haven't already!

DBF Interviews will return fairly soon! I can't exactly say when, but know that something big involving it will happen in July.

I'm also working on some rap battles, and while SMG4 vs DevilArtemis Cell has been postponed, there's still a ton of other battle in the meantime planned for you to enjoy! Hoping to get the first of those out in the first half of July.

And that's... pretty much it. Not a lot of stuff to talk about, just some of the more obvious projects. UISBR 2 research is beginning soon, but that's not really important in a news and announcements sense.

Welcome back to Random's Friday Announcements! You all know the drill by now, so let's get right to it!

First of all, Black Hat's analysis for Black Hat vs The Warden should release later today! Make sure to keep an eye out for that!

I did say that there would be a big announcement of the 22nd, but I believe that the contents of the announcement won't be able to be finished until the week after next week (unless I somehow manage to clutch it). The announcement itself should still be good to go.

There will be another Worst TN Competition in the mext few days, with a sign-up dropping this week-end! The last one was a ton of fun, and while I did fumble the winner announcement, I'll make sure not to repeat that this time around!

Remember the Ultimate Internet Series Tournament, the massive project that was cancelled? Well, I'm glad to announce that it's officially coming back! About 200 individual fights awaot you in this tournament for the ages, and while they will be relatively short, as I don't see myself making 200 5K word long fights (that would be a million words in total!), I can guarantee that it'll be quite the event! Not sure when it will start, but I'll try and somewhat consistently pump them out throughout the year. It for sure won't be finished this year, maybe not even next year, but I assume it'll be done somewhere around 2025-2027.

Last but not least, I expect some new rap battles to come out pretty soon too. I can't say when, but I can sorta guarantee at least two this summer.

Welcome back to Random's Friday Announcements! I don't think I gotta explain what is done here, so let's get right into it!

There's been good progress on Black Hat vs The Warden. I expect the analyses to be done in the next few days though I can't exactly pinpoint when. The fight should follow around the end of June.

DBF Interviews will make a return sometime soon. I don't know when, for I'm not sure on which day to do what interview, but I'm certain you'll get one next week.

Let's talk about something most people may have forgotten, that being the Random Match-Up Writing Competition. The deadline would've been a few days ago, yet no new battles have been submitted. Instead of moving the deadline to an even later point however, I decided to just... cancel it.

There's multiple reasons for this. For one, I think the participants have a lot of projects by themselves to complete, so it'd be stupid to expect them to finish the battle for this contest. Then there's the fact I... didn't really want to continue it mere weeks after the sign-up.

This is one of those projects that I made when I assumed that I needed some extra projects so I don't get bored from only working on RDBs. But now, I've realized that the RDBs are more than enough work and I really don't need extra for the sake of it. This lead to what I call "The Great Project Purge", where I cancelled all the small side projects I didn't have the time or interest for, and now that the would-be deadline has been reached, the contest joins those projects.

As for @Thevoidmansavatar and @Ivan*kirbo , the only ones who were able to submit their battles, you two win by default, so congrats.

Might continue work on the Death Battle Creepypasta soon, so be on the lookout for that if you're interested.

Last but not least, I've gotten back into rap battle writing as of recent, and, unlike my prior attempts, I think I'm able to actually write something of decent quality. So much so, I'm willing to release one later today. It may not be the greatest in terms of quality, but I think it'll be fun nonetheless.

Greetings, and welcome again to Random's Friday Announcements! Those who actually read these know the drill by now, so let's not waste any more time and get right into it!

Of course, a current RFA has to be started with Black Hat vs The Warden. Production is going very well right now, and I may have Black Hat's analysis out soon. I can pretty confidently say at this point too that it'll release in the second half of June.

Let's get into events, more specifically, contests such as the Worst TN Competition or Speedrun Showdown. Speaking of those two, I may make either of these this weekend. Do take note of the "may" in the last sentence, as this is not confirmed to happen yet.

While I'll still be pondering about that, I've got a new project in the works [no, not another battle that'll get cancelled soon after, no worries], and while it's still far from finished, I think that it can already be released soon, because why not.

DBF Interviews is on break, if you didn't know yet. It'll come back in Summer.

Now, for the last announcement, which will... certainly stand out from the rest. That's because it's more of a personal thing rather than being a project of mine. It's a thought that I've played with for multiple months now at this point, and I think I've finally made up my mind.

Greetings, and welcome to Random's Friday Announcements! You probably know the catch by now, so let's get right into it!

First off, remember when I said Black Hat vs The Warden is starting production some time ago? Well, after a bit of a delay due to terminal procrastination, I'm finally, actually working on it! I can't say when I think it'll come out, but I will say that I'm hoping for a Late June release, if not, sometime in July.

In the same RFA [I think], I mentioned I wanted to change the roster for the UISBR 2. For now, those plans have been scrapped, so I'll be sticking with the one we have at the moment. Honestly, I'm not sure why I wanted to change it in the first place.

This weekend, while there won't be another competition, I will try and make some more interviews, aiming for 2-3. Not much else is to say here.

Don't really have anything else. Maybe I'll randomly start another project then cancel it in two weeks? There are some other things I wanna do, but they're small stuff that I think don't really need a big announcement.

First of all, Black Hat vs The Warden is officially starting production! It's one I've been looking forward to making, and I believe y'all will enjoy the finished product! (Maybe I can make a correct verdict for once-)

Next, the UISBR 2... may change it's roster again. Now. I know, I've already changed it, it'd be good to go, why change it again possibly? Well, the main issue lies in that I just really don't like it. Announcing the roster a whole 10 months before the thing is supposed to come out isn't that hood of an idea.

Now, if I were to change it, how would I do it? Well, I think I'd do something similar to what happened when Jax and the AVGN couldn't be featured anymore and let you folks decide. I'm not entirely sure how many or who exactly I'll swap out, but you'll find out in time.

A few more DBF Interviews this week-end! I already have the full schedule of when each interview would be planned (that was made with the help of a wheel), so it's smooth sailing from here. I could technically reveal the schedule, but I don't want to, so yeah.

A Worst TN Competition will take place this week-end! I know that Speedrun Showdown has been talked about much more, but there's an issue with Speedrun Showdown (related to the time limit) that still needs fixing, so this oughta do. The sign-up will be sometime today, probably the next few hours. More will be described there.

Last but not least, uh, new and final food poll soon? I won't reveal what it'll be with, but it may be something you've already seen before...
