Rematches of existing Death Battles (which this episode still is, even if the characters are composited) are not traditionally allowed on the wiki. They were previously banned entirely, and are now subject to a review process in line with Rule 14 (see the Rules & Guidelines page). Since this rematch was not approved (and hence unauthorized), I have moved it to a blog.

Please take your time to read the Rules & Guidelines going forward. You may submit the battle to our review blog if you want to put it back on a page.

If I had been informed about this months ago when I created the battle page, announced I was doing it, and started working on it, that would have nice. The lack of communication led me to assume that the battle was distinct enough to not be considered a rematch. I'm fine with submitting it to the review blog now, but it would have been nice to know I'd need to do that before I spent months writing the battle.

Respectfully, we did not "owe" you anything. The Rules and Guidelines are right there, and every user is generally assumed to have read them by default – failure to do so is not an excuse. We must have overlooked your page – that's unfortunate. But the Rules are rather explicit about the topic, and are linked to fairly commonly.

Feel free to submit the blog for review. I am fairly confident that it will pass, so I wouldn't be concerned.
