Both are detectives from well known horror franchises about a serial killer who nobody knows the true identity of (and is a different person in several of the movies), both become a part of this mystery because of the death of someone close to them (Bailey’s son Richie, Tapp’s partner Steven) in an incident involving the killer (though Richie was a Ghostface while Steven was chasing after Jigsaw) that caused them to go slightly crazy and dedicate their life to getting revenge on the one who killed them (Samantha and Jigsaw), unfortunately both were unable to and ultimately ended up getting killed near the end of the movie.

I think one of the reasons I like this MU is that it can use an important part of the Scream movies that you don’t really see in many of their matchups, the mystery, Tapp spends his entire time investigating and trying to figure out who Jigsaw is, so, what if instead of Jigsaw, it was one of the Ghostfaces?

Funnily enough, Scream 6 is the only one I haven't seen. I'll have to before doing the fight.

I will note, if this is the match you pick, David is also the main character in the SAW video game, which I believe the creator has stated to be canon, so you may wanna check that out.

I have seen it and will rewatch a playthrough to see what I can give Tapp.

Sometimes games can be weird, sure you can pick up some weapons, but that can just be because it was found/taken off someone else.

If an item is really common for someone to obtain and clearly special he can have it in his arsenal, (gun, those needles Tapp uses I can allow, at least the max he can carry at once) and what specific Saw movie does he appear in? I have all of them so I can rewatch the movie(s) he appears in.

Dead By Daylight is a not sure, because if I used Tapp's appearance in it, I don't know if that means I should use Ghostface stuff from there too (since it is technically a whole different Ghostface).

Anyway, the match is a neat one, but I may need your help again for it, which you can have your own portion for the research (for this and the one with Punisher) if you want to.

I don't know if Scream 6 is anywhere I can currently access, if it is just on DVD or not, so I may not be able to get the necessary resources to properly figure out all feats.

I will note that Tapp is able to make several different traps in the game so I’m not sure how that’d be handled for the fight.

Ooh I love detective fights

Tapp making traps (that rhymed) would mainly be added to his intelligence, depending how complex the traps are, as making a trap in the middle of a fight would likely be... pretty hard if you're not Kevin Mcallister (likely spelt wrong, you know who I mean).

And this gave me an idea for a maybe other fight, with Harry and Marv Vs 2 Ghostfaces, I've watched Home Alone, so know of them.

I could just make it into a DBX too I suppose.

I've decided I really need to start getting back into doing battles, research and stuff, I'm gonna make the page for this battle now, I have kinda forgotten what battles I was wanting to do aside from this, so I guess it'll be my Season 5 Episode 2, a recent poll I've done is also gonna be a battle, but I'm waiting for TJOC's full release before doing it.
