I think it's still a pretty good movie and the short film Button of Doom while not as good is still entertaining and good. Which is something I cannot say the same for the new movie which I am just choosing to ignore even exists.

Only good thing to come from it was the SHOOT THEM WITH THE DEHYDRATION GUN memes

First movie is a masterpiece. I've never watched Button of Doom so I can't comment on it.

But god those new movies are awful, the memes and VS stuff are the only good things to come from it

I never really cared for Megamind, but as someone who got into Mario, Doom, Dragonball and Resident Evil from the live action movies, it’s impossible for something to taint my thoughts on something else (except for stuff involving the people who made it, and even then it’s a stretch if it’ll really affect me or not).

Second movie and TV show aren’t mainly cause of noticeable drop in animation quality, blatant character assassination, and breaking the canon outright.
