These start off as criminal’s who disguise themselves to avoid capture. (Bob disguised as Krusty the clown, while The bandits dress as police officers). They seem to fool individuals they meet into believing they’re nothing more than innocent and pure individuals. That’s, of course, until they come across perspective young boys. (Bart and Kevin)
Their plans evolve into personally spiting these children, ending up in custody because of them. (Bart figuring out Bob is Krusty, while Kevin keeps himself safe by setting up traps). They would break out of prison and eventually come into contact with these kids again. Ironically, when they’re trying to get away from these children in other countries (Italy and New York) they’ll cross paths again.
They’ve managed to capture these kids on multiple occasions. Usually, after enduring slapstick style pain that no human should ever survive. (Bob getting dragged through a cactus field, hit by rakes, crushed by elephants. While the bandits have endured everything from bricks to the head, shocks that show their skeletons, and famously their paint buckets) They’ll never really kill these, their own egos getting in the way. (Bob singing for Bart, allowing him to get to the police. Or The bandits wanting to inflict the same pain onto Kevin, allowing them to get sneak attacked).
They also both have families who work as criminals with them. (Bob has his wife and child, while Marv in home alone 4 has a wide) they also help with perusing their vendetta against a child.
