From a gameplay perspective it’s fine I guess but it kinda throws a wedge in the story. There’s a Bumbles McFumbles video that goes it pretty good detail on this
It also marks a point in the series that it had kind of already reached but not fully where the franchise just completely stopped being scary. FNAF 1 is the scariest due to the uncanny valley feeling hitting its peak as well as the whole thing not being overdone yet. 2 was admittedly not very scary but some of the Toy designs are at least a bit unnerving. FNAF 3 had a good atmosphere and an excellently designed villain. FNAF 4 is competing with 1 as the scariest mostly due to the fact that it takes place in your house instead of the Pizzeria.
Springtrap can probably downright deactivate Crew 1, could also get rid of Crew 2, Security Breach, Sister Location, and Pizzeria could blow each others brains out and then Springtrap deals with whatever one remains alive, now that they’re weak.
