As of June 25th, 2020, the DBF staff -- Myself included -- have nearly unanimously decided to blacklist the Robloxian. This means that they may not be used in Death Battles (Blogs being the sole exception. Blog battles don't count towards battle records nor the Hall of Records). Understandably, several questions may arise based on this decision, which I shall attempt to answer to the best of my ability.
Q: Why?
A: The main problem with the Robloxian is probably lack of structure for anything. Obviously, the game designers weren’t thinking “How can we make it so everything Robloxian does is like 500 tons of TNT in terms of power”. Roblox doesn’t have any "canon" lore -- every action, creation, movement, and weapon choice are all player choices and mechanics or fan-made content, and because Roblox games are VERY different from each other, it becomes a chaotic mess.
It’s too easy for people to blend him together from various games and make him this weird, inconsistent unkillable god or something, and there is no structure to the character at all. Even restricting him to catalog weapons gives him virtually no concrete feats except the weapons themselves -- and that’s problematic since we don’t have any answers for his durability. It’s basically: if you get hit by this weapon, you take sufficient damage and die. There’s no measured strength, speed, or durability.
Q: I have a battle with Robloxian, will I lose all my hard work?
A: No, not at all. Don't worry, pal! Unlike previous Blacklistings where all pages blatantly got the nuke, we're taking a different approach here. Every battle with Robloxian, completed or not, will be moved to a blog. As alot of hard work went into the Robloxian page and we have no means of putting it on a blog or archiving its comments, we'll lock the page instead and disable commenting.
Battles with Robloxian will no longer count towards battle records. As a consequence, Robloxian will be removed from the Hall of Records, and all battle records -- both in the Hall and on combatant pages -- will be updated accordingly to remove Robloxian's entry. (In other words, characters like Steve, Blocklander, Kirby and Madoka Kaname will lose some wins and losses that pertained to Robloxian battles)
